- I can not wait to sit down and sew on a large, snag-free table. This table is large enough for my quilting and sewing but when I am done it can close up to fit in any room.

This brought back happy yet bittersweet memories for me. In 2000 I bought a new Singer machine and I needed a table for it. My oldest son drove us in his pick-up to a sewing machine shop where I had purchased my new machine. I got a beautiful deluxe sewing table with many of the features your new one has. The machine lasted until 2018 and I made many projects. My DIL leant me her sewing machine ,but unfortunately I became disabled with MS and lost my ability to sew. Last summer she moved the table to her house . I just realized what a precious thing it is to witness the process of my sewing studio exchange homes. To where my darling grandchildren have an opportunity to discover the joy of sewing. I wish you many wonderful years with your new table. I enjoy your site very much and although i'll never be able to do any projects with you I am content in knowing that I was able to once upon a time. God bless and keep you Miss Laura and all the talented sewists and designers here.
Thank you very much. I do understand how you feel. I can no longer knit as my fingers can only hold the needles for a few minutes. But I love watching my daughter knit away. I get so excited to see all the beautiful work come together. It's funny that I can not hold the knitting needles but I can still hold a tiny sewing needle...lol Have a grat day

My sewing cabinet is Horn of America too! Think it's model 8090 & I use the shelf to my right for my serger! Dealer also ordered the acrylic insert to snuggly fit around my machine. You're going to love sewing at your table!!

I have the M7 also! I can’t imagine what this cost, and if I told my husband I wanted one, he’d think I was crazy to spend so much!

Thank you for sharing your new table with us. I got my 740 last year. When I did I watched the video of your move into the new space. My machine sits on an old dining table which I love since I can set up both my machines. However, the 740 sits so high I copied your example of using a bar stool and I also used an elevated foot rest. It has been sufficient but is cumbersome to enter and leave. I’ve considered a new table but have been reluctant to let go of what I already have. I’m going to research this table more with my local Bernina dealers.
I got a Baby Lock, Aventura II and a Horn cabinet for Christmas last year. It:s smaller than yours but it's all I have room for....I love the electric lift and the storage. I Kno you will enjoy yours. Congrats, and I love your videos. Like you I've been sewing since home ec in 7th grade, manny moons ago. Enjoy!

I’d need two of them so my husband could have one too I’d also need a lottery win ! Yes I am jealous but I do hate people showing off their little purchases it makes me feel really poor.

The flooring for my sewing room came on Friday and will be installed today and tomorrow by my husband. He has already painted the room. It would be perfect timing if the table came this week 🙂

Gorgeous! I had kitchen cabinets installed in my sewing room - so because of the height I also use a barstool. I have a small step stool that I put my presser foot on. I had a small bedroom so it seems to work well for my small space. I love your table and your beautiful studio!

I have the Bernina cabinet for my L890 serger. The table goes up and down like yours. I love it. I will be getting the Bernina cutting table in 3 months. Well thought out cabinets.
Beautiful!! Right now I’m using a large table with 1 drawer! It does hold all 3 of my machines, though. I love this table. I may have to check into getting a table like this!

I love your sewing table but they take up so much room. But we can't sew without the room. What a catch 22 it is. But I am thrilled for you !.
I've heard on other FB channels (is that what their called?) That while the IKEA furnirure is great for organization and as cutting tables (adding mats of course), they just can't handle the weight & vibration if our big heavy machines & attched embroidery units.
I'm still using a big folding table from Costco (since around 2005) and when it started to sag in the middle I got 2 particleboard/laminate covered shelves and put them on the table.
So far, so good.
It will do until I can afford proper sewing furniture.
I would love to have a room large enough for a beautiful set up like yours.
This was so fun to watch ! I was comparing yours to my Babylock Kuala sewing desk I have. I like a few things about yours better but a few things of mine better. Always fun to have show and tell !
Saw your video on the Horn cabinet and made my decision based on 1-the table would fit my needs and somewhat affordable; 2-delivery and setup in the room of choice. Well I contacted my local dealer only to find out #2 was not an option….that was disappointing. It will be delivered on a pallet and left in the driveway. My hubby nor I are in a position to transport it to the second floor of our home. So now I am back to the drawing board.

I bought a beautiful, used Horn of Canada sewing cabinet off someone for $200, which fits my Janome Suv1122. It has the lift in it and I love it! Only thing, the granddaughter and I both broke the plastic container on the door. Hoping I can buy a replacement.
I have a similar but a little smaller table to fit my space, but my Bernina 880 Plus fits fine. What is your secret for placing your machine in just the right spot to fit the acrylic insert? My 880 is so heavy have difficulty tweaking it.

Congratulations Laura. Your new table looks incredibly useful as well as comfortable to sew at. I have a question about the shipping. If anything had been broken on it, would you have had to pay for return shipping or pay to have someone come out to fix it?
Laura how wide is stairs to the basement? I ordered the same unit but my door is 23” wide so I’m afraid it won’t fit to come in through my sliding glass door. I can’t locate any info on the size of the shipping box.
Can any sewing machine fit that table I have a Husqvarna Viking emerald 118 sewing machine if I purchase that table will my soul machine be adequate on it and I have the clear table expansion for my sewing machine
