I had the great pleasure to work with Rich, in the band. He was one of the classiest guys I'd ever worked for. But I never saw this side of him, giving other impressionists a platform. I'm way impressed! But in the oldest showbiz tradition, nobody better than him! Ha! But back then, there was nobody better.
Paul Anka, Rich Little, Frank Welker…they beat everything what’s on today a hundred times or more. So much talent, class, its just incomprehensible why today there is only nonsense available. Name one artist or show today that will be watched 50 years from now!
Rich Little was the best of the best when it came to voice impersonation....as his impersonations were so spot on....the folks whom he was impersonating would often be upset that he was so spot on....like Johnny Carson, who absolutely would not allow him on his show once he saw him impersonate him.
@@PC4USE1 , we have been told that Carson was pissed off to the point of never letting him back on the show....because he was soooooo good at doing Carson.

Fred Little! Who'd of thunk that Rich had a brother who could do great impressions. Rich is still killing it today! He's on the Mike Huckabee Show here on RUclips just recently. Did a Joe Biden impression quite well.
Frank Gorshin was mentioned, and he was also a great impressionist. But Frank developed a unique character on t.v., The Riddler, Batman's second greatest nemesis. Did Rich Little ever develop such a memorable character?
Yes, Frank Gorshin was a tremendous impressionist along with being a great actor. His creation of the Riddler for the 1960s Batman show earned him an Emmy nomination, which was the only Emmy nomination for the entire run of that series. Gorshin’s creation of the Cheronian Commissioner Bele from Star Trek’s “Let That Be Your Last Battlefeild” is considered one of the most memorable Star Trek aliens. Frank created very memorable characters. Usually over-the-top characters, but very good. Frank did the best Kirk Douglas impression of anyone. He had many other fantastic impressions of celebrities and politicians. RIP Frank.

Hi, I'm trying to find a specific show that Rich Little did in the 1980's. I don't remember exactly what year, I was a little kid at the time. But at the beginning he did a skit where there was like a game show with impressions of Ronald Reagan, Jimmy Carter, and someone else. Ronald Regan dropped his note cards and got all the answers out of order! It was hilarious. I've been trying to find that show for years! Do you know which one it is?
1.10 I wonder if the teacher was self-ironic or didn't notice he was being imitated. If he couldn^'t hear it - or at least understood it from the laughing of the students.
Hang in there Rich! I never though your impressions sounded even much like the people you were trying to imitate, and the jokes were flat, but you were a big deal when we didn't know any better and weren't as judgmental or sophisticated as we are now. But you are still going strong and that's great!

Wow, had never seen nor heard of Frank Welker before, or so I thought. A quick Google search tells me I've heard his voice for 49 of my 55 years on this planet! He's been the voice of Scooby Doo's Fred Jones ever since DAY ONE in 1969, and has done Scoob since '02! Of course, Rich Little has always been a favorite of mine. He is just such a talented performer, and master impersonator. The best!! I just caught the last segment of this video, and see that voice talent runs in the Little family. Fred is also excellent. A search for Fred produced little (no .. no pun intended) -- mainly voicework for a handful of late '70s-early '80s animated television movies that I've never heard of, most of which were narrated by brother Rich.
