The Saab J29D Tunnan is the only jet in the Swedish air tree, it's average at everything excluding firepower which is a beam of death.

Important tip to fight J29d: only do horizontal.
Tunan can out turn literally nothing, yet it has a lot of power with that afterburner and super dangerous 4xADEN PRIME with good roll rate as well. Tunan is among my favorite things in this patch
I prefer going vertical because of the afterburner. Boom n Zoom, wearing the target down until it's slow. I used to suck ass with the J29D until I figured out how to play it. Now on a bad day I nab 1 kill, average 2, and maybe 3-4 kills on a good day. Even against MiG-21s and Su-17s. Beware the MiG-19 though. Pain in the ass.

To answer your question on how much RP I made after killing 20something tanks, with a premium account I made 15,500 RP. In chat I was trying to say that it was less than 16,000 and more than 12,000. i bought this thing because im swedish... but i dont regret it. guns do some serious damage but they take a little getting used to. and you gotta conserve ammo as much as you can. may just be me but it feels like the airbrakes makes it turn way better.
They are not like the ADENS. They are ADENS. They're only under the swedish designation 30mm akan m/55. The tech tree version will have 20mm akan m/47 and their license produced hispanos.
They have a higher rate of fire so no they aren't adens
@@DEFYN They are ADENS. You can look it up. But I belive you when you say there's a difference in fire rate. So either that is Gaijins messup or they where modified in some way when put on the J29. Sweden often modifys things they buy from others.

The rate of fire is correct, I am not very technical I try to keep it a game. So when I compare guns I will just compare their ingame performance without looking at what they are in real life.

@@JustARandomHuman gain speed from take off and zoom climb at around 20 degrees, you ain't a mainline fighter you're a support fighter, pick off slow targets or targets chasing friendlies
I get a kill after every 10 games on the j29A
i personally love defensive flying in the j29 cause the vast majority of pilots are not great and its easy to deceive them using the retention in specific maneuvers, i have 0 fear at all defensive flying against a mig in it, however against a competent mig pilot youll need to be pretty lucky to win lol

G91R3 is somewhat a slightly slower Sabre F2 with 30mms with worse energy retention yet F2 Sabre is op so G91R3 at lower BR is... well you get it

You just pay for pixels in either game. War Thunder is equally enjoyable as DCS in most aspects, so why not? You don't need to spend any money.
