Joel most swooping birds only have a go in spring when they are nesting. Magpies are the worst. The tip of the beak is quite sharp. They are black and white. That wasn't a dingo it was a fox. The poms gave us two gifts in the name of their hunting fetish. Foxes and rabbits. Both liked the climate here more than the UK and bred to ridiculous numbers. Typical Australia is gathering around the old fashioned Hills Hoist Clothesline in the backyard with Wine bags tied to each outside corner and playing Goon of Fortune (after old TV show called Wheel of Fortune). Everyone gathers around the hoist and gives it a spin, whoever the 4 corners stop at have to reach up to the plug and pour 1-3 seconds worth of wine into their mouth below. Needless to say everyone gets pretty smashed within the hour pretty quickly.

Not certain but the green car in the ocean maybe the one I read about some Asian tourists wanting to drive to one of the islands off Queensland and they followed the GPS SATNAV too literally, were supposed to drive to ferry terminal but drove out in to the bay. There's a reason why I don't partake in outdoor activities, unlike most other Aussies. Oh, and never, ever get close to wildlife: they are unpredictable. You never know when they'll bite your finger off, or worse. That last clip reminded me of the last time I ever played cricket. It honestly depends if they're likely to see you as a threat or not. My mum (who is short and skinny) was on a trail when she saw movement to her left and a massive male roo was in the bushes right next to her, just watching. She wanted my dad to see and so called him, and as soon as the roo saw my dad it immediately went into posturing/territorial mode. Full of spiders down here, almost daily occurrence running into a huntsman. Also there's an old clip from a kid's wildlife show where they were outside showing the milking of a Sydney funnel web. Quick as a flash a kookaburra landed on the table and took the spider from the shallow container they had it in! Yummy snack 😅
Well, your lucky your in the US - I had one of the very big huntsman spiders, deciding to run towards me across the floor to where I was sitting. World War III, broke out. Fresh water crocs aren't anything to be scared of if you're an adult. Their jaws are much thinner in width and they don't go after large prey. They're normally in larger groups, so one on it's own will almost always run.

To answer your question why Australia has so many spiders is because it plays a very large role in the ecosystem for example bat population sometimes during the night especially in the hotter areas of Australia you can get these flocks of bats so most of the Spiders are used as food
I know seeing lots of spiders like some of those can be creepy but the Huntsman Spiders and Wolfspiders help eat and get rid of the annoying crickets and roaches. That phone or white cover that was taken off at around 2:49 was full of roaches.
I think we have a lot of weekends to ourselves, a lot of Holiday leave and Plenty of Public Holidays mixed with mostly good weather and plenty of coastal water gives us time to shake out the work stress
In regards to being too drunk, if aussies are a bit pissed and acting silly in a childlike way we love it, but if you’ve drank so much you’re completely slurring and getting aggressive, picking fights and being a mess you’re ruining the fun. There’s a fine line we strive to reach the safe side of when getting on the piss. You can also get a lot drunker at a bush bash or barbie than out in a public venue without being seen as a problem and getting belted
Australia has a climate where mosquitoes thrive so it makes sense we have many spider’s to eat them. Although they look frightening most are harmless. The mosquitoes are more of a threat as they carry disease. So my philosophy is if the spider is not a threat to you then leave it be or if you have the courage take it for a walk outside. It will do more good than harm😊
Currently we live with 3 huntsmen spiders (but no geckos atm because they are huntsmen food) and a large family of Skinks (lizards), but no cockroaches (skink food). we get along with each other.

Peace
Hit the 7:40 mark and watched the goanna(monitor) latch on. Was lucky it let go. My brother had his finger trapped by a pygmy monitor years ago. Took 20 minutes , 2 pairs of pliers worked by 2 people to remove his finger from its jaws. He was lucky it grabbed from the top and didn't slice the tendons. They also have some pretty nasty bacteria in their mouths. The goanna was released after checking for damage. My Brother is scarred to this day:)
At least their mouths aren't as disgusting as Komodo dragons - even if they let go you're still likely to have to amputate the limb if you aren't extremely quick with emergency medical attention.
If or when you come over here Joel I’m gonna chuck big fluffy spiders atcha😂 …….but not in a bad way.. in a fun way 😂😂😂 ….. but don’t take this too seriously because I’m little pissed(drunk, shitfaced, maggoted) while writing this 🥴🤪🤙🏼
There is a clip like the last one, might have been cricket, where you watch the errant ball fly off into the background, where there's a row of houses and parked cars in the street... you then hear firstly glass breaking followed by a loud "Oh, for F**k's sake"...
With some of these compilation videos of Australia, there's usually one or two featuring spiders. Mostly I think because it is fairly much guaranteed to get a reaction. If you don't live in Australia this can give you a false impression,..... almost as If everywhere you turn, you'll likely to encounter heaps of spiders. This is not the case. Admittedly I live in Tasmania, the southern most island state of Australia. I don't particularly like spiders that much either, but the amount of impact that spiders have on my day to day life is pretty much non existent. I guess what I'm saying is don't let these videos featuring spiders put you off coming to Australia. Also most spiders are reasonably small and harmless. That's not saying we don't have some of the deadliest spiders in the world but you only have a 1 in 12,500 chance of being bitten by a spider in a year, and even if you do, not necessarily by one of the really venomous ones. The reality is most people in Australia will never get bitten by a spider in their lifetimes. I've never been bitten by a spider but I have been bitten on more than one occasion by Jack Jumper 🐜's.
Depends on where in Australia you live for sure. Anywhere near the bush you're bound to get spiders near or in your house. We've got a bush reserve out back and no matter what the spiders are eventually going to get in. Thankfully since I'm in WA we don't have to worry about the big venomous ones like in NSW. We get mostly redbacks, white tails, black house spiders, daddy long legs and the occasional huntsman.
You know what the difference between such clips from Australia and the US is? In every US clip you hear "OH MY GOD ARE YOU OKAY?" In Australian clips it's just "Hahahaha".

There’s a fine line we strive to reach the safe side of when getting on the piss. You can also get a lot drunker at a bush bash or barbie than out in a public venue without being seen as a problem and getting belted
We have very serious laws about serving alcohol to people who are obviously intoxicated.
The dingo one lmao i can't i have tears
It was a fox.
@@DarkMatter1992nawww it was cute. Still hilarious
Love how he calls a fox a dingo
Australia has a climate where mosquitoes thrive so it makes sense we have many spider’s to eat them. Although they look frightening most are harmless. The mosquitoes are more of a threat as they carry disease. So my philosophy is if the spider is not a threat to you then leave it be or if you have the courage take it for a walk outside. It will do more good than harm😊
Currently we live with 3 huntsmen spiders (but no geckos atm because they are huntsmen food) and a large family of Skinks (lizards), but no cockroaches (skink food). we get along with each other.
“That was a nice little dingo”
4:14 fun fact of the day the steering wheel in Australia is on the right side of the car not the left as we drive on the left not the right
I have SEVERE arachnaphobia as well so i feel ya! You should come to Australia and we can do dumb s**t together! 🤣
Mate your foreal fear when those big spiders show up means you would not do well here 😁👍
The intercom is stuffed with giant flying Australian cockroaches. Probably attracted to the noise or heat inside. Great to see the reaction to the spider in the shoe
The excavator thing is a traditional way to celebrate Australia Day
Have you noticed that Aussies will laugh first, then ask if the person is ok. 🤣😁
we pretend that we care !!!
5:48 thats my reaction to big spiders too man... got bitten one of those ones in my school shirt once... scared the shit out of me haha..
And had one the same size crawl up my pants legs whilst on the sh*tter hahaha
10:55 is Redcliffe Jetty! The place where I grew up and home of the beegees
I used to go jetty jumping off the Redcliffe Jetty back in the 80s
@@septemberclare2697 me too about 30 years later haha
You and I jump at all the same places. I could never go to Australia, that giganto spider was way too much. If I were there I would be terrified that at any moment I would be confronted by spiders (which I can't get used to) or snakes. That said, I loved the video. Too funny. Hope you have a great day! Peace
Stay in the cities and you’ll be fine
Seriously, I live in the bush and I'm 60. I've probably seen 2 genuinely huge spiders in all that time.
The clip of the magpie swooping is from right outside Mudgereraba Creek State School in Mudgeeraba on the Gold Coast, a 2 minutre walk from my house.
Bro saw a cockroach and thought locusts
Spiders eat fly's mosquito's & other insects we just don't like ! Love huntsman spiders I call them Charlie 😂
At 8:00 minutes 😂😂😂😂 you see we start them young with foul language in Australia !
Maybe I’m wrong but haven’t we seen this compilation before?
Edit: I think we have.
was thinking the same
I think Ryan (Ryan Was) and Joel (JPS) are brothers. Ryan reacted to the same video recently!
Now you know why we have really cheap health care lol
If or when you come over here Joel I’m gonna chuck big fluffy spiders atcha😂 …….but not in a bad way.. in a fun way 😂😂😂 ….. but don’t take this too seriously because I’m little pissed(drunk, shitfaced, maggoted) while writing this 🥴🤪🤙🏼
Hey everyone is welcome in Aussieland just so long as you can handle the spiders & snakes 😂! Join us coz we party hard as life is too short!
That's why we're called true blue Aussies 😂🤣
Bro, I subbed just for you reaction to spiders, loved it :P
In Australia, we have spiders that eat snakes, snakes that eat crocodiles and kangaroos.and very aggressive birds (check out cassowary)
The part that the magpies takes the spider from the car that’s in Alice Springs NT Australia (where I live)
Stupid stuff, what a great way to start the day!!! Thanks Joel, John in Canada
You should check out some Bondi Rescue, it’s a show about the lifeguards that patrol one of Australia’s most popular beaches
The number of people I see standing on 🌊 rocks near the ocean... It's so dangerous! People die every year from doing this. ☠️
There is a clip like the last one, might have been cricket, where you watch the errant ball fly off into the background, where there's a row of houses and parked cars in the street... you then hear firstly glass breaking followed by a loud "Oh, for F**k's sake"...
"Australia, Australia, This is You"
the blue tarp video is what we call a slip'n'slide it's just tarp, dish soap and water
You should check out "The axis of awesome. Four chords". Was more than 10 years ago but very funny Australian comedy. Enjoy your channel.
To be honest I'm a born and bred Aussie and raining hammers sounds like it would actually be a natural thing around here...
Hahaha. It's Skull a beer mate.
