This is an extention of Howard Shore's beautiful piece 'Feast of Starlight'. This version consists of a double phase in which the singer sings beautifully and is merged with the first half of 'Beyond the Forest' in continuation with the theme. Enjoy! :)

I love the Hobbit trilogy, but even those who don't like it have gotta admit they love the music.
I love it too so much
I LOVE IT TOO!! Nice to meet another person with taste!!
Quite true! I love the music, especially this one..
I kind of dislike the Hobbit films, as they've changed the book too much and added too many unimportant things (the book is perfect, though, and I think it shouldn't be so greatly altered). Yet, I must confess that Howard Shore has done great work.
@@georgeathans3561 To je pravda, že kniha bola lepšia, ale aj tak si tie filmy rada pozriem.😉
Howard Shore is as essential to Middle Earth as John Williams is to a Galaxy far, far away.
Howard Shore = Tom Bombadil
That is a great analogy..another great Ennio Morricone (one my favorite composers) is essential to Spaghetti Westerns.

God bless J.R.R Tolkien, with his hands and his imaginary and unexpected journey he created in his works, he gave us this amazing and one of the best fantasy novel.
💯💯💯
Prayawolfie ps God bless Howard Shore for this music!!
@Para's Memes Channel orcs and magic with castles and wizards...that's kind of fantasy
i agree but let me tell u why Tolkien was amazing and he did an amazing job. Tolkien was in a secret society like the ( Free Masons etc). so he took the knowledge from what he learned and made a story to make us learn but in a good way that many think its completely from his head, but its NOT. the elf people are real, the dragons are real ( although maybe the real version dont have fire but they're dragons nonetheless). even how did the world started? by a song, the same we can find with our world religions quote: the first was the word. u see he knew a lot. i can speak for days but at the end he gave us a wonderful world and i love everything he gave us. rest in power Professor.
God bless Peter Jackson for making Hobbit greater than the book and adapting LOTR into legendary trilogy
I don't think there's a word more beautiful than starlight.
Believe and love all your life. And, you fly thru at last night .
Varda Elbereth, Queen of stars.
It's actually hard to breathe when I hear this song because of how deeply it hits me. The second film and the introduction of this song really forged my love for kili/tauriel. During the last movie, I didn't feel the same connection and their end didn't effect me as much as I thought it would. Coming back and watching scenes from the second film then hearing this song man, I'm wrecked and crying so much it hurts. It's amazing how much a part of storytelling music is. This is so beautiful. Probably the most beautiful song in all the movies and I don't say that lightly.
You sound like a sexy woman - we share the same passion darling

My Mom just died and this is the only song I could think of...
You cannot be her. She is far away. She... she is far, far away from me. She walks in starlight in another world. It was just a dream. Do you think she could have loved me?
@Delawanna Amen...thank you
I'm so sorry for your loss. I wish you lots of strength and love💕
You will see her again. Love is eternal it reaches far beyond the walls of time. When it’s your time to leave this world she will be waiting right there for you.
😞 I'm so sorry for your loss. You made me feel so sad now.
I am sorry for your loss, my mom died a year ago too..
The lyrics provided are just the Sindarin lyrics. The song is actually a mix between Sindarin and Khuzdul, like a conversation between Kili and Tauriel. Like the instruments used, there's duality in the lyrics as well. Here's most of the lyrics that also continues beyond 2:41 (S is Sindarin, K is Khuzdul)
S: Hae ephadron/ theri thaur
I go walking/beyond the forest
K: Îmri zaiza
Take me with you
S: Am na dhû ias fir i ambar
Up into the night/ Where the world falls away
K or S: something OR
S: A trehil i 'alad 'lân uir tri 'wilith"
As the white light of forever fills the air
K: Ankakizi ni adâlimê/ ak tathyariya
I see you, in my dreams/ but you are far away
K: Kûr yamsi/ tân yamarsi biye
Where go-you/ when you depart from me?
The last two lines are repeated in certain bits like "Ankakizi ni adâlimê" is sung twice and so on.
Fantastic! Thanks
Wow, this makes the music even MORE beautiful and heartbreaking 💔 They were doomed from the start but their little time together was precious and pure while it lasted.
In tears listening to it now. So moving and soulful

"White shores, and beyond, a far green country under a swift sunrise."
1:25 is magic. Takes you back in time... to the first time you saw the movie. To me, its memories and nostalgia. Middle-earth wouldn't be what it is without Howard Shore. Only he can bring this Middle-earthish feeling to Middle-earth.
I agree, it really is magic

Well, that's a very dangerous world. Believe me. Pretty sure you're gonna be just a normal human there.
For me, i don't want to live in a world where almost or every character i'm attached to is dead. What's the point?
There's people like that in our world, but we can't see them. We're ordinary people, not special people like those characters. It would happen the same in their universe.
I live for this... I have literally waited ten years for more singing elves...
Worth it. Absolutely worth it.
yes your not the only one who has waited ;)
You don't need Howard Shore to hear singing elves, try with 'In elven lands'
Oh every time I hear this I get chills and tear up. It immediately makes me think of Kili and Tauriel and the innocence and purity of a fledgling love between two young souls that was never allowed to grow into fruition. So beautifully heartbreaking. Thank you....
Perfectly said! Such a tragedy but a beautiful one 😭
Young? Tauriel was 900 years old 😂

As i am crying now, 4 years after your comment. This music is timeless
Probably some of the most beautiful music ever created, thumbs up any and all who agree with me, chances are nobody will though Lol
1:25
"By the starlit mere of Cuiviénen, Water of Awakening, the Elves rose from the sleep of Ilúvatar; and while they dwelt yet silent by Cuiviénen their eyes beheld first of all things the stars of heaven. Therefore they have ever loved the starlight, and have revered Varda Elentári above all the Valar."
The funny thing is, with this music playing, I can picture how they felt perfectly.
I need a Silmarilion Trilogy/Series
@Lily Yu just saying Eldar ii the elvish word for Elves. Soooooo she's an Eldar!
ugh the Silmarillion kills me.
@Lily Yu She said something like "All light is sacred to the Eldar but the wood Elves love best the light of the stars" so idk she's not necessarily saying she's an Eldar or wood elves are Eldar... Maybe she's saying like "you know the Eldar love light but WE wood elves kinda love the stars more" like she's comparing Eldar and Moriquendi idk this line isn't clear
Anyone still here in 2023??
How on earth could someone dislike this? Like wtf is wrong with them.

this version, the extended one, is better than the original one, i don't understand why this version has less views
Probably because some countries can't watch it.
Its because the cover is not Hobbit's. .i think
Also because this not a merged track.. not an original extended version
sanch Sanchayan
you're right, it is a merged track, as stated in the description box. The solo choral that starts at 1:25 is wonderful and very beautiful. It only repeats twice in the original soundtrack, so I repeated it for a prolonged effect. In keeping with the tune (rather than digressing to the LOTR theme as it does in the end of Feast of Starlight) I merged it with the beginning portion of Beyond the Forest, since the same tune continues. The end result? a wonderful track I listen to frequently and, I hope, all of you love too :)
DashingRazzle I much prefer this version. The choral voice is enchanting. I could listen to it on a loop forever.
This song plays a lot in the LEGO Hobbit, sort of like ambient music when nothing's going on. I like it :D

Tilknasty How much does it play? Usually on roads between locations--I do remember it playing on the road between the Shire and the Grey Havens, though I'm sure it plays elsewhere as well.

I finally managed to find the lyrics to this! "Phillipa Boyen’s text “The White Light of Forever” acknowledges this openness in Tauriel’s character by combining Khuzdul and Sindarin lyrics with probing harmonic progressions:
“Hae ephadron
theri thaur
am na dhû
ias fîr i ambar
A trehil i ‘alad ‘lân uir tri ‘wilith”
“I go walking
Beyond the forest
Where the world falls away
And the white light
Of forever fills the air”
I found this too, but would kill for the long version including the dialogue with dwarvish…
sniffthecactus duh is it the one with the "take me with you" part? I got some of it but I'm not even sure if it's right
syarifa humaira Yes! absolutely! There's this short clip of a behind the scenes (or a bonus, I don't really know) about Tauriel where they play the music and show a couple of seconds with elvish and dwarfish an the translation.
sniffthecactus duh I tried to write it down and match it with the song really. I might still be missing some parts, but that's all I got from the video.
syarifa humaira How is it possible that we can't find it anywhere?! Could you tell me what you've found so far?
This makes me of think of how beautiful the night sky is and how amazing and gorgeous Gods creation is.
When Kili was going to the Erebor i almost lost it at the beginning of the last movie. "Keep it as a promise."
No almost for me, I still cry every time T_T
1:25 is my favorite part... Has a special place in my heart after watching the third and final movie. Feels like I've lost a friend.
The message that I get from this song is to never give up, and never lost our hope about the future, believing that things will get much better throughout the time... It's almost like a paradise is waiting for us, we just need to have faith that we can do it to get in there.
Agreed. I believe there is light that awaits us. Should we be willing to pull back the veils of deception and sadness of our own making, we will see it….
White shores….
That was beautiful.
When I listen to this song, I swim into Eternal Light...
How a soul could be lost with this amazing song?
Close your eyes and follow the Light...
It is God who is inviting each of us to return into our Home of Infinite Love and Bliss!
May this divine music reach every soul of our humanity!
And AMEN!
i NEED someone to make a 10 hour loop of 1:27 to 2:41..... so amazing.

This music has haunted me ever since I first listened to it. It has washed my soul with the memory of starlight and left me wanting, longing for more :)
This song would be great also as a theme of Luthien and Beren :)
That fits so perfectly, and a much better story at that
The one person who disliked this doesnt know spectular and beautiful masterpieces of music, this song is amazing!
Some folks just don't like anything. Sad for them.
I really love Hobbit's movie ❤
its my favorite soundtrack for ever! Kili will live for ever, with Tauriel.
+Stefano Pasini Actually, Tauriel probably died after the movie's credits, as the elves who fall in an unrealizable love use to die of sorrow. And she does not come back in the LotR movies, so...
This is truly one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard from Howard shore. I'm sitting here fighting hot tears and my chest is literally aching. I love Kili and Tauriel and I was crushed when I watched BOTFA even if I knew what was coming. ;n;
Tolkien was a cruel man.
Lol yea it's dad what happened to kili but tauriel wasn't even in the original story
Matthew Christiansen this has nothing to do with Tolkien, this kili and tauriel bull isn't even in the books , neither is tauriel as a character sooo.....
Melissa Colto I actually felt rather silly that, the first time I listened to this song, I fought the tears pricking behind my eyes. But I'm glad I'm not the only one.
There is just something about this type of music that just hits differently, like the woman singing is so beautiful and the movie are amazing
*Spoiler*
When Kili died in BOTFA, you can hear this song being played subtly :'(
its more emotional when he lies injured in second movie thinking he will die and tells Tauriel how he feels... thats just pure sadness when you go through something like that too :D
This song will always come to my head whenever I look up to the stars above. Down here is reality but above us is like magic. Fallen stars can be seen, sometimes you can see the other planets and the Moon. Shining just like in Durin's Day, the last light that shall shine on the keyhole.
This is going to play at my funeral
I hope one day as I take a walk in the deep, enchanted forest- as the world falls away, I may come across a choir & symphony of elves and fairies singing this beautiful hymn as, I gaze & listen silently in wonder from a distance and, fascinated in the midst of a dazzling feast of starlight!....a dream I have

Truly... Honestly... I have never in my life heard a song that cut right through me, straight to my heart until I heard this song.
That’s the perfect way to describe it. this so actually cuts deep
Still better than Disney SW sequels.
Even tho the movies had a lot of problems, the music absolutely slaps
If only there was a way to go back in time and experience these movies and tracks for the first time again.. Hits you hard when you realise you're no longer a carefree child like you were when you watched these movies. Everything's worse now lol and listening to these tracks is the only way to experience a semblance of the past
As soon as it got to the main chanting of the song I literally got goosebumps and chills at how hauntingly beautiful it was. And for the longest time I've been wondering what the lyrics were and their meaning, but now I see that there was a deeper meaning to them than just a random phrase Howard Shore put together.
Beautiful... Reminds me a lot the Lion King's score, especially the 'King of The Past' melody. The scene with that music is also about stars! Coincidence?
That little verse at 3:00 with the choir and the violins makes me teary. It's so beautiful
I believe that Kili will wait for Tauriel in the after life so they can be together forever :)
I loved them together they were so sweet and innocent
Too bad one is an eternal elf😆
I'm away from home for the first time, coming up to Christmas and I'm stuck in bed ill with no one to talk to. But this music brings me home in my heart ❤
Howard Shore you are a genius!
Every night before bed I listen to this at 1:25 !!!!! Pure Joy

First, the Return of the King's ending and now this...... Howard Shore and peter Jackson know how to make a man cry
Did anyone else try to fight back tears when she sings
On the extended edition, there was an even fuller poem and the Khuzdul counterpoint lyrics. I don't remember what the rest was at the moment but, one line of Khuzdul was the response "take me with you". It made me so sad....even when I first heard it before I even remembered when the score was going on. I was just listening to it without the booklet as a guide and it really sounded like a lullaby.

So beautiful song from my favorite epic, smart, colored and profund saga: The Hobbit movies! ;) The romance between Kili and Tauriel is so cute! Eventually, I am sure that Legolas will conquer the heart of the beautiful red-hair elven maid.
Nope he got a red-headed dwarf instead
in the gentle pastures the elves walk in starlight and elegantly sing sweetly as the prettiest moonlight rises
I love this so much that I converted it to an mp3 file and downloaded it to my iPhone, such a beautiful piece of music ❤️
Fun fun fact, lyrics in this song are a mixture of dwarvish and elvish language, so more kili tauriel feels 😀
When this world ends, remember THIS!
This just divine.....so serene and beautiful
I will genuinely never forget how i felt when i heard this song for the first time. It felt so magical and real 💖
i love this one, really calm and peaceful.
Gorgeous!******♥
This song makes me feel sad now because Kili died. (Sorry for the spoiler.) He and Tauriel would have been an awesome couple if he had lived, even if he is a Dwarf and she's an Elf.
I still love this song, of course. It's hard not to. It's peaceful and calming.
Kili and Tauriel wouldn't even be an odd couple at all. There were several interracial marriages/"unions" in Middle-earth (blending of Elves and mortal blood). A union marriage is highly unlikely, especially that of elf and dwarf, thought perhaps not impossible.
No, I doubt that it was impossible, and it's good that it wasn't. I'm all for interracial dating/marriage.
Loki Hid
Yeah... Think of Melian who was a Maiar, who fell in love with Thingol, the Elf.
Probably not... But who knows... I don't think Tolkien would at all write that if he lived til this day... It doesn't seem likely to even happen in the first place. =p So what you just said could be a nice take on things. Quite interesting actually.
0:44 I love this theme and the Hobbit movies. Nostalgic. Definitely inspired me in my own WIP.
Amazing...Even more amazing as you gaze into the universe, where there's such an abundance of life that no words can adequately describe...
Hauntingly beautiful.
Kiliel feels 💕 I used to ship them so hard
This is the moment, when you are in heaven while on earth.
It's so cool that the words being sung are elvish and dwarvish (khuz-dul) ✨ In the beginning words of the song The elvish is: ''Hae ephadron theri thar (I go walking beyond the forest)''
And the dwarvish is: ''Imri zaiza (Take me with you)''
And just that pause before the soft slow beautiful voice is so eerily soothing
This video is beautiful to watch and listen to! Every time I hear this music I think of Kili and Tauriel together! This music is so beautiful and haunting! Listening to it brings tears to your eyes!

Even though I wasn't a fan of the Kili and Tauriel romance, I will say that I adore their theme. It's so beautiful
