  • Following an upload of a recent animation showing the use of wParallax in Lumion there were several request to show the workflow for getting wParallax maps into Lumion. So here we go.
The process mainly involves building a cube and unwrapping the map to sit on those faces.
Maps can be sources here: wparallax.com/

Great tutorial, our new fbx files in the free scene are now mapped, so you can import them directly to Lumion (no need to unwrap in 3ds max :)

Man, I want to buy you a cup of coffee or something. This workflow is gonna save me a lot of time, especially for this one huge project I'm stuck with.
I also realized that some rooms are not cube, so I changed the scale in 3ds max and re-exported them. And to make things even easier, I'm replacing the material directly in Lumion so I only have one model, and I duplicate it for each material.Man, I want to buy you a cup of coffee or something. This workflow is gonna save me a lot of time, especially for this one huge project I'm stuck with.
