Hi, so when all the cards fail for whatever reason(technology) . U lose all assest? Is there a option to also write down seed phrase to recover?
Hi there! The cards have a minimum lifespan of 25 years, which is guaranteed by Tangem and Samsung, the chip manufacturer. The idea behind providing three cards in a set is to ensure that even if one card becomes unusable or is lost, you still have backup cards to manage your funds.
However, if you lose all cards from the set, you will lose access to your funds. Only your cards have access to the wallet. The number of cards in your set (2 or 3) is the number of copies of your private key that exist in the world. This is why we recommend keeping your cards in different places. If one card is lost/stolen, you can buy a new set of cards and transfer the funds to it.
But, if you have set up your wallet with a seed phrase in Tangem Wallet 2.0 and happen to lose all the cards from the set, you can restore your wallet on a different wallet using that same seed phrase.
They’ll end up starting a service where you pay monthly for the company to hold your seed phrase like ledger does

This is likely because the two wallets use a different derivation path.
A wallet's derivation path and the seed phrase are crucial for restoring a wallet. The derivation path is combined with the seed phrase to generate the private keys for individual cryptocurrency wallets.
Tangem Wallet devices use standard derivation paths for each cryptocurrency. When importing a wallet, Tangem Wallet only supports the default BIP-44 derivation path.

So this relies on the security and reliability of the device, right? If my smartphone is compromised and someone is recording my screen, they will see my seed. Even if I turn airplane mode on, most spywares simply logs everything locally and send the information to the attacker as soon as the device connects to the internet again.
Please note that you don't need an internet connection to generate/import the seed phrase; thus, a phone without Wi-Fi or a SIM card can be used at this step. However, an internet connection is necessary when creating a backup to download the certificates. Even so, you can initiate the seed phrase generation/import on one device and proceed with the backup on another device that has internet access.

Yes, you can import a 12, 15, 18, 21, or 24 words seedphrase.
Something you have to keep in mind is that the two wallets could use a different derivation path. So if you don't see all of your crypto, do not freak out, it can usually be resolved pretty easily.

Hi, how can I import Odissey network in my Tangem wallet? I have DIONE tokens in my wallet on ERC-20 network. Since they released the Odissey network the ERC-20 network does not support DIONE anymore. So, now I have useless DIONE ERC-20 and I can not display what shouls I have received from the swap into Odissey network. Could you please help me? Thanks

If i do passphrase option and chose in a future to import my assets throw new wallet is going to be option to write the passphrase after the seed phrase in wallet not from tangem?

If you set up your Tangem Wallet 2.0 with a seed phrase and lose all the cards from the set, you can restore your wallet by importing the seed phrase into a new wallet.
Can i do that from my ledger and import to my new tangem?,

Correct, this will be a completely separate new product but it will be available to use by all users, be they from Ledger, Trezor, etc its not just something which is exclusive to the Tangem Ecosystem, its open to all. Tangem Pay is due around the end of Q4/Q1 next year and will be available to select countries upon release, then will be broadened out to new areas. We will be sure to share more details closer to release as to the "hows" and "whys" of how it will work. Example, if I want to import a 12 word seed phrase from another wallet, the first one on the left will be my word #1, the second one from left to right will be my word #2, and so on eith the rest of words, is that correct?

Hey, if you import a seedphrase from another wallet, some tokens might not show. You'll either have to change something called the "derivation path" or send the tokens by doing an on-chain transfer.

If I created a 12 word Seed Phrase in Tangem, can I move to a Ledger Nano S, since Nano will take 24 Words instead of 12 words

Isn't there a security risk of inputting a seed phrase onto a mobile device? What if the device is compromised with a key logger for example? Does the app prevent against such kind of attacks?
Hey! When using the official Tangem app, the risk of the app being compromised is eliminated. We advise users to prioritize their digital hygiene by maintaining a secure device environment, running the most up-to-date version of their mobile device's OS, and downloading apps only from official sources.

Would I download the app on 2 different phones, And then on phone number 1,as I request to add my own seed phrase , I will turn off the wifi. Then I will turn on the second phone and scan the first card that now has the seed phrase and scan the other 2 cards right afterwards,?
Many people use passphrase to protect their seed phrases. Please add support for that.
