    That sailing seems like it was so long ago 😎 Tabyana Beach looks like a great place, I might check that out next month when I'm down there on the Prima.

    Awesome video! We're thinking of doing the same excursion when we go in May. So the snorkeling is included in the excursion? Do they provide you with equipments?

      Yes everything was included with the excursion we took. Also double check the description because some included lunch and some did not so it would be an extra cost if you wanted to eat there if you pick the wrong one!

      @@pk.adventuretravelsthanks for your reply! One more question, do they take you further out to the snorkeling site or you do it by the beach? I've heard many people said you swim there on your own

      You do swim there on your own it’s actually not too far from the beach to the main entrance to the coral reef. There’s an option to swim on your own or go with a guide who will be in a kayak and help you navigate the path. Hope you have fun. Let us know if you have any other questions!

    Excellent video, I'm leaving on Wonder in Florida doing Western Caribbean in February. How did you book this excursion 3rd party?

    • @pk.adventuretravels
      @pk.adventuretravels  8 месяцев назад

      The trip to Tabyana is actually a Royal Sponsored excursion. Look for "Tabyana Beach Snorkel and Lunch" in your shore excursion tab! Hope you have fun! If you are looking to do it on your own, there is no official 3rd party that will put it all together for you. You can take a cab to "West Bay" and then go to one of the bars that are right near the Tabyana Spot (Thirsty Turtle for example) and generally as long as you get something from them you can use there chairs on the beach! Also the first 20 feet from the water all the way down the beach is actually public so if you are OK with roughing it with no chairs you can still take a Cab to West Bay and just stay outside the white ropes and you are good!

    We tried to book this snorkeling excursion and it says because I'm 66 it can't be booked! I can scuba dive lol I'm a certified master diver but Royal Caribbean is saying No to snorkeling on this excursion for age 65 and older...so weird.

      OMG?!?! Yes... We just looked and for whatever reason RCL does cap the age at 65!!!! We can confirm that there is no age limit on a Carnival Excursion.... and if you are on RCL there is another way there. You can take a cab to "West Bay" an then go to one of the bars that are right near the Tabyana Spot (Thirsty Turtle for example) and generally as long as you get something from them you can use there chairs on the beach! Also the first 20 feet from the water all the way down the beach is actually public so if you are OK with roughing it with no chairs you can still take a Cab to West Bay and just stay outside the white ropes and you are good!

      @pk.adventuretravels ok wow thanks that's great info. I think we'll do the excursion to get there with the free lunch and lounge chairs and bring our own snorkeling gear which we always do anyway and go down to find where you guys snorkled at. That snorkeling video you did was amazing!!!

      Thank you for the kind words you will not regret it!
      There are two places to focus. The first one is right in front of Tiana beach itself where the main part of the reef is.
      The second great spot is further down the beach so if you’re looking at the water, you’re gonna want to continue to your left and there’s a big rock just off shore of the beach and right around that area where the boats tie up was the spot where we saw that huge school of damsels and Sergeant majors, and those huge angel fish were more plentiful there in that area. You’re gonna love it!
