- Sturgeon Fishing with Snagged Bro! We have always wanted to catch a sturgeon but we have never really gave it a proper go. Before the trip we heard the carp had started spawning and we were a little dis-heartened however with the Carp spawning it would give us more chance for catching Sturgeon. We now think that sturgeon fishing is one of the best species to catch! Enjoy our longest fishing video so far!

Try breaking down the net off the pole and rolling the two arms together to the fish to pick it up makes it a lot easier when there getting them bigger fish gd to see so many fish out in one session. 👍

We did a day in that peg for the sturgeon a couple of years ago, We caught carp, but couldnt get a sturgeon even though they kept randomly tailwalking in front of us. Well done on yours!

@@SnaggedBro not a chance, I gave up carp fishing about 10 years ago because there are no carp lakes never mind sturgeon. A few around the country that's it. Not even nice fisheries and more match venues. In the Stoneage I'm afraid when it comes to this type of fishing.
@@MrJimmyjamjam These guys are fishing a noddy carp puddle for plastic fish and you live in Ireland - I travel there several times a year, you have awesome pike fishing on big, wild waters. That beats sitting on a mud hole with some bite alarms all day long.

Nice vid guys! One remark tho, sturgeons are like sharks and they can't breath properly when they aren't swimming. Their gills can't push enough water over them manually, so when reviving/resting a sturgeon u should always keep pushing them back and forth a bit to make sure it gets enough oxygen.

Yes lads, where was this? I do quite a bit of sturgeon fishing myself and am based in Birmingham, I usually go to mineral lakes in Bedworth but looking to try somewhere else new, I do recommend giving mineral lakes a go though it’s unbelievable, catch 10-15 fish every time I go😂👊

Fish this place regularly brilliant lake well done lads and a tip unhook the sturgeon in the water much safer for them as they are not as hardie as carp

Quite amusing watching this. Bite alarms and a little radio boat, not sure I get this at all. The last Sturgeon I caught were from the Fraser river, biggest was 450lb, most are 80 to 220lb. Somewhat larger than these poor critters and from a natural environment, as opposed to some little pond in England.
