I picked up a 23 Tacoma a few months back. I want to tackle the maintenance myself, I’m happy that I came across your channel. Subscribed :)
Love to hear you got a 23! Enjoy 🍻
I just picked up your Maintenance Maps off Tacoma World. Thank you for the excellent work you put into it and for the great videos!
Love to hear it! Enjoy 🍻
Best maintenance/ diy videos out there! Thanks for the hard work making these projects easy and simple to understand straight to the point
It’s been my pleasure, thanks! 🍻
Thank you for this. I've watched your videos and didnt realize this truck was so easy to maintain
My pleasure! Welcome to the club 🍻
Another great video. Thank you for all your hard work. I truly appreciate all the information you share with your subscribers.
Thank you, knowing it’s getting used is the best reward 🍻
Get it on the subreddits too. It should be apart of the sub standard information.
Saw this map posted the other day.
I hopped on Reddit and went and saw some old posts of just now, pretty neat! Always fun to find it in the wild. I try to not be too self-promotey and enjoy just seeing it make its rounds naturally 🍻
I love it and I can’t wait to get it. The ONLY thing that would make it better would be to include the bolt sizes for the fill and drain plugs on everything.
I hear ya! I had to draw the line at some point and let the videos do the talking 😂
Nice!
Thank you! 🍻
Wish there was something like this for a 2007 Tundra! Not quite it's the same schedule at quick review.
Got a 07 tundra and 19 taco service identical. 😋
@yzrippin I noticed a difference or two based on what I looked up. But I will have to compare with my excel file. I don't agree on the 10k miles for oil change (5k or 6 months). I will say the chart is very well done! 👌
The day may come! 🍻
One of these days I'm gonna have to buy me one of those maintenance maps. Thanks for all your hard work. Mind if i ask what video editing software you use?
Thanks for the words! Adobe premiere is my go to. I’ve always loved the adobe suite.
@@teamoildrop thanks
Wish I could find something like this for my first gen taco 😔
It's been discussed.....not sure of if/when

@@teamoildrop it be appreciated not only as a first time vehicle owner but for everyone else that has a gen 1 taco 😔🤝
Hey, when do you guys start using High Mileage oil? My taco just hit 103k and I’ve always used Mobile 1 0W20. I always put high mileage in my other cars, both Subarus over 200k and my 04 Dakota that (believe it or not) sat at 214k when I traded it for my Tacoma. I know it swells seals and other black Majick, I’m just curious what other Taco guys use.
I will continue using regular Mobil 1, or the advanced version, whatever is cheaper and ready for me, until my truck is no more.
What should i do if i got my tacoma at 85k?? Engine oil at the very least i understand and oil filter and possibly air filter. Just confused on where to start or what to do. The truck is in excellent condition just want to treat her right. Its a 2018 trd off road
I hear you! Here’s what I would do: if it has no known service history I’d perform the tasks up to 85k once each and start from there. That way you are certain.
@@teamoildropthank you 🙌🏽 for my subaru i used penzoil and i noticed on one of your videos you guys also did as well. Ik people say it’s preference but what do you guys normally use?
@@mr_hype2365 for no particular reason I tend to run Mobil 1 the most. It’s pretty rough to go wrong on a store name synthetic oil these days.
What do those red numbers mean on top?
Those are the “severe intervals”. Basically if you tow a lot or want to take extra extra care of your truck you can perform those tasks as that mileage per Toyota guidelines
