@@noxnyc23 very simple, you install the brackets on the bed rails where the levers/claws grab for the 3 sections. Lay down the included foam and then just place the hardtop nearest the cab folded up. Adjust how much the levers/claws clamp it down for each side by threading them up or down, unfold the next section, rinse and repeat until finished.

3rd gen factory LEDs? If so they are built into the housing and cannot be changed or upgraded at all. Some of the best headlights out there for our trucks though, no upgrade needed. -Austin

@teamoildrop 2022 trd 4x4 pro. They don't have the fish eye lens when you look in there in the top back, you can't see them just the cut outs. I also spent forever looking on the back of the housing where you take them out NOPE. The fog or driving lights are the same. Hmm. I want more light I got a led light bar mounted in lower grill but can't drive with oncoming traffic since they barf Lite everywhere. Hmm

@ 4th gen lights are the same now. What you get is what you’ve got. Yah, there’s good light bar options out there that could subtlety add if you want.

@teamoildrop thank you so much. I would just be regretting like when I drove it home 300+ miles home after I bought it. Closest one in blue with everything I wanted on it. I even opened the hood cause. It drove like a 4 cyl asked my son " drive it I think it's broken". He didn't like it He has yet to drive it fixed. Austin thank you. Jim.

Mine is white with custom painted gloss black hood scoop, and fender, flares. I’ve never had a vehicle that gets so many comments from people. I now understand why so many people love these trucks.

All of it would also apply to the 2nd gen! Obviously a few part differences between the 3rd and 2nd gen, but overall the maintenance and intervals is all the same! -Austin

@ yea I just don’t trust or like to much that 2.4 turbo. I like to feel the power of the V6 or V8 engines

@ For me, it was just how the truck felt when I test drove it. Plus the size of the tundra is kind of too big; I live in big bear and the roads are too narrow to accommodate something that big. Over all I just have fun driving my Tacoma and feel like I can put more mods on it over the years

@@keredkered22 thanks! Wheels are factory 2024 TRDOR wheels, tires are 285/70R17 Falken Wildpeak At3W (won’t fit an unmodified 3rd gen) and I have a small 1.3” lift here

@@charlesb6169 the DCF891B and DCF900B are BIG impacts that’ll do everything. Granted they are much bigger than my model here. Thin wall wrenches I just have an Amazon special set but I’ve only needed once and it was furniture related not truck 😎

@teamoildrop Partially. Not considering the inherent design flaws, it does work. But the two white spots where the plastic stretched are obvious. I'm not trying to advertise myself, but I've made a few videos complaining about my pickup, the dealership, and Toyota itself. One of them showed the damage.

@ I wanted blue and not to pay over $100.00 for door guards and whatever Toyota is charging for blacked out letters. This will be the most expensive vehicle I have ever bought and I didn’t want “almost what I wanted”. I wanted what I wanted. Have an Outback but carrying things was difficult with it. It was also blue.

@ for a LONG time blue was my number one pick. Then it became a toss up between blue silver and bronze. Good choice! You’ll love the truck

I like the color of your truck as well. You could do a video on how to choose and spec out a Tacoma for one’s needs. The dealership was little help on this. I wanted a six cylinder, manual, with a six foot bed. I only got one out of three when I could have had two out of three (manual and six foot bed).

@ I have 23’ Tacoma and struggling to find low beam and high beam lights on their website. Can’t find the ones that you listed you have and a little tricky to navigate. Think I only see low beams and fog lights
