I grew up just outside of Philly in Coatesville, and we ended up with just over 5 1/2 feet in the valley. It was awesome, we were completely trapped, no way in or out of the neighborhood, only one guy in the neighborhood could go anywhere cause he had a big jacked up Chevy Scottsdale 4x4 and that thing crawled right through it no problem, so the guy actually spent 2 days going door to door running people to get groceries and fuel and whatnot. The irony of the whole thing is before that day mostly everyone in our neighborhood HATED that truck cause it was big and loud and when he rolled through you definitely knew who it was. Everyone thought a little differently about that truck after that storm, lol. I personally as a kid always loved that truck.
I was 18 living in south Philadelphia at the time. Me and a few friends took LSD and walked around Philly during the blizzard. It was insanity.
