There is a correction in the video you need to make. I don’t think the number on bash is when you overpower. The number on bash let you know when you stun. You need to look in your buff bar when it’s at 4 to overpower with hota. I’m at work so please correct me if I’m wrong.
The number 4 over Bash indicates you've crit 4 times with Bash. If you now use HotA, it's guaranteed to overpower, which then gives you the temporary HotA buff which increases all damage done for five seconds, which is when you go nuts with bash attacks for crazy damage.

But, as I stated about the video, the number on your bash on the bar itself is not the indicator. The number on the skill bash on the bar indicates that after 4 bash your next bash will stun. The indicator for overpower for HoTa is on your actual buff bar.
I've got a copy of your other bash build but I have death blow, which I know you hate. That build is not as powerful as the other bash build but its fun to play. I'll try this one too.
Normal unique Tuskhelm of Joritz the Mighty is amazing for this build and drops from most uber bosses (I got mine from Tormented Duriel who then kindly dropped a Harlequin's Crest after ten more kills), otherwise use a normal legendary helm ideally with strength, max life and cooldown reduction, and imprint either the Aspect of Concussive Strikes for more damage or the Iron Blood Aspect for damage reduction.

Trying to share a good build. It can easily defeat all content but no perfcetly min-maxed. I got a Full Time job and create content, time is a factor :)
Honestly just give it some time. Having additional levels of bash on pants and the right tempers for bash on all weapons are the biggest thing with dmg to close enemies tempered as well

Question I’m a casual player trying to follow this build, to beat the tormented bosses are the master working upgrades needed to be max level of 12 in order to beat them? I attempted just Lilith with level master working and the correct tempers and most of the rolls on the items but Marley made a dent in her. Glyphs are maxed out gear is all 925 just missing weapon gem slots and some gear slots. Any tips?
Having the gear stats, proper tempers on gear, gems, and aspects is the best thing. Maxed paragon board as well with bonus to bash. If you have all those things you should be doing pretty significant damage, but need to make sure you have lots of maximum hp, DR, and resistances to 70%. My gear is only master worked to like 6/12 and some 8/12 on my 2H weapons.
Attempt torment boss when you can do at least pit 70+. Some torment boss like duriel is easy, while others like requires some to have gears and skill. Hardest torment boss is actually beast, hope they fixed the debuff bug.
How about Tyraels might to max out resistances? I'm leveling this build right now, and got Tyraels and Shako so leveling is quite the breeze. Also, since this build runs Hota and lots of crit, I'm gonna try out accelerating aspect instead of aspect of elements and see how that works out. Nice guide though! def helps getting started on cooking my own bash barb ^^
Just switched from Dust devils to Bash, and this is an insane upgrade... Was able to do pits lvl 50+ with Dust devils max, now I am easly doing 70+ and still working on the gear..
I was leveling a Barb to get a spark and saw this video. I was already using Bash so decided to make some changes based on your build. I had some of the same ideas but there were some interesting differences. Currently, I'm level 86, not all my gear is exactly right of course. in fact some of it isnt even level 925. I do have a Harlequin crest that I borrowed from my main Barb. I AM COMFORTABLY DOING LEVEL 50 PITS!!! Do you know how long it took me to get my double swing barb to 50? This is so much fun. I am still using an ultimate with the Ancients as I enjoy it. I really dislike Steel grasp but will switch if I stop progressing. thank you for the fun build.

Super frustrated as I cannot get the 2H axe expertise to 1, therefore I cant choose it. I have a 2H axe equipped and it wont level nor can I choose it for any of my abilities. Build looks great but that is the only thing holding me back. ty for the info
You use it once you do 4 bash hits and the skill bar is full waiting to overpower a skill, you then hit with your hota at that point and it gives you a 30% dmg buff for 5 seconds. Also activates decimator node for +10 dmg as well for 5 seconds. Look at bash on skill bar to tell when ready to hota.
Hey guys read this. I used this build as a guide to help myself. U can too. Get a resistance roll or 2 on gear. Swap out the 1 shout for rupture and hota for iron shield. Use iron shield aspect in helmet. Get alot of movement speed. I'm half way done up gear and just passed a pit 96.Solo and 3 in party against duriel.🎉🎉

I feel like I've followed this and/or Rob's build to the T and I can only make it to pit level 80. I get one shotted by the bosses every time. Maybe that's me needing to build up my resistances? Idk. I've mimicked the affixes, master working, tempering, paragon board, skills, and have a shako to go along with it. I'm just not sure how you and Rob are hitting in the 10s of millions consistently? I feel like every now and again I'll get a 30 or 40 million hit, but nothing I can depend on.
I followed robs build but I use his iron skin version untill I can get my resistance up and I've cleared a 89 solo and a 95 with 1 friend and had no issues living only have fire resistance maxed so far
Honestly its just getting the right tempered affixes, right stats on gear, building resistances, maximum life, and DR with max aspect rolls. Those things and rest should fall in line for the most part. Obv. the paragon, etc.. Just improve your gear matching all the stats we put in the build planner over time and damage will creep up!
@@CreativeGamingRUclips Worked on getting better affixes and making sure that random 25% affix boost went to bash and things have been going a lot better. Getting my life up to 70K+ was huge too. Solo'd tormented duriel 4 times in a row! GGs man!
I feel you. I have this build, followed everything to the letter, have shako, masterworked everything at least at lv8, 70k life, max all resistance armor, everything i could do it i did... And the damage is low. I don't understand why, but in another video Rob2628 when uses HOTA his for half a billion damage, generally hundreds of millions. Me? I'm lucky if i can hit 60-70 million sometimes. So i get wrecked by the boss in the pit after lv.70-75 (they don't die fast enough and kill me with their effects, no matter how much life i have), and we don't mention Lilith, she destroys me while other kill her in the first phase. And HOTA doesn't work how it should, it gives me very little damage. I don't know, honestly.

I'm level 42 and and world tier 3 using this build. The only thing I hate about this build is there's no real AOE attacks. I did a dungeon and it was just so monotonous killing one target at a time.
my hota doesnt feel like its doing much im lvl 80 with almost the exact same build and my bash does like 500k dmg but hota does like 7k lol do u know why?
Hota is literally just to buff your dmg w bash. You crit 4 times w bash, you will see a little fist icon on your status bar that will fill up to 4, once its at 4. Hit with hota once. It will overpower, and buff your dmg for 5 seconds. Then you bash again. Rinse, repeat.

I havent had the chance to kill the lvl 200 bosses, is it them that drop these items?
yes the uber bosses have a higher chance to drop these unique, but you can also get them from levelling Wolf's honor on different characters. It'll give you resplendant sparks that you can use to craft a uber unique of your choice.

You need to level up your glyphs in nightmare dungeons, so the radius of the glyph is increased and then it will met all needed requirements. Max radius is on lvl 15 glyph.
No specific amount, but try to get crit chance GA on all rings and amulet that should be 30% or so alone before upgrades. Try to get close to 100% overall with enough solid gear the more the better.

Actually, it’s depending. Since tyreal give some damage reduce, I would use undying if you have a big health pool and drop might. But if your health pool is low. It’s probably not worth using undying.

How are you hitting your max resistance. I have everything the same as the build. It leaves me like 2 stats that are not max resistance

My BArb BAsh SUCKS at DPS. Not sure what Im doing wrong. at lvl 70 rn and its not even close to better than where my Necro was at 70

Correction master working was level 4 at the time of Lilith fight.
Having the gear stats, proper tempers on gear, gems, and aspects is the best thing. Maxed paragon board as well with bonus to bash. You can use another helmet and gloves, but the gloves make the build really good.

I’m having that same issue, the only thing that’s not maxed are the masterworking levels and I can’t hit above 5mil I don’t know what the secret is

My other bash build on mobalytics has some helmets to use. Go with concussive strikes aspect

You only take hota for the 5 second damage buff. The damage from hota is negligible.

You can use a 1h sword and a 1h mace to proc bash, Dual wield for bash. Expertise 1h mace x10 damage to stunned,
There's 2 ways to run bash, imo dual is better you loose a few mil in hits but gain faster atk so 2/1 for hits at a few mil dps loss

What gear should you masterwork first?
any gear u have 2/3 GA's for the stats you want is a good start (and is a good piece of gear), pain gonglers is also a good start and 2h weps

Actually, it’s depending. Since tyreal give some damage reduce, I would use undying if you have a big health pool and drop might. But if your health pool is low. It’s probably not worth using undying.

I would do it, that’s what I did. If you end up liking dust devil more you can use the bash build to get better dust devil gear
Change it. Dust wind can only carry me to pit 45. Now I am running pit 90 with bash
