Adhd is a gift and a curse like you said... when the project is boring you'll end up pushing it aside forever sometimes even forgetting about it's existence unless it's for work and have no choices but when you actually get pumped by a project you end up spending all your energy and might into it and somehow you get some kind of super focus... in my case once I get hooked you can't take me off because my mind will think about the project every single second of the day lol also, i feel like most adhd people are actually perfectionist as well, the few at least that i met were all perfectionist like me which is also a double edged sword, on one hand you end up with a final product that is much better than it should have been but on the other when it doesn't reach that state you can end up giving up if you fill like it's too much and shit BTW insane build love and dig it.
My dad always told me when mixing filler an hardener the ratio was a golf ball to a pea 👍🏻…I’m 41 and thinking about having a go at this 😂..no honest!..Great job the wideboy kit for that just makes it look a beast..
@@LSCBTHEWAVY haha it was because the rims are so soft you bend the metal just looking at them 😂 so we wanted to use the tire iron as little as possible
Another option, would be to print interchangable lego-like blocks, and other shape defintion blocks could be added onto those, and then use a fast acting vacuum thermal forming table to pull perfect copies of the shapes you are trying to achieve, and doing so at a major weight reduction. Lego-like blocks could even have other shapes rather than blocks. Interchanging any of those, and youve got a new mold to rapidly copy newer versions of a car's design. The nissan pulsar nx had a interesting way it could morph into 1 of 3 different vehicle design shapes with interchangable panels, and theres a vw camper that can double its capacity with a slide out that is lightweight injection molded, but could be vacuum thermalformed for alot cheaper. Party on garth.

I use this technique for building 1:4 and 1:5 models, i know how long it takes to model, print, glue, fill, sand, prime, sand, prime, sand, paint, stickers.... So big bravo for a big one like this. My concern is about glue. I use 3d printed holes to fill wood cylinders for alignment. Then i add metal stripes with hot glue inside. Even with this body tend to crack on edge after a few month. That's why i make rtv silicon molds and do final bodies in fiberglass. Thanks for video.
Heeey! Thank you!! Yeah my plan was to make a fibre glass mold, but I didn't fully understand how it worked. I should have made the mold before putting it all together, still haven't given up on the idea all together tho, I have another plan for it. The alignment would have been harder with printed holes because these big prints tend to bend a little in the printing process so I was afraid the holes would make it harder to adapt. Are you using plastic filler tho? The filler compound might be why it cracks.
@@critical you can make traditional hard mold in fiberglass in several parts, or soft rtv silicon mold, or mixed ones. The grill for example is hard to work with fiberglass mold. The cracks appear in pla between blocks or sometimes in layers. But i make my mold before they appear. Sure even my one meter long models tends to bend and are not easy to glue after. All surface is filled with putty, then with thick layer of polyester primer... i made a video with Polyester mold, i should make a new with rtv molds.
You talking about adhd really moved me. I understand you, i do the same but i have no diagnose for it. I don't need more chronic diseases intold my doctor. ME was enough for me to handle. But i do have the same momentum and i have made som sick cool bikes last years.

Lol it's done in so many different materials hopefully not PLA. Can't imagine why this cost u so much.
