If everybody lived by the 10 Commandments, it would be a beautiful world. Who’s teaching that? Religions can destroy Christianity but the commandments are solid

I'm religious, used to be an atheist, and I have to quarrels with anyone that is an atheist. Well, as long as they aren't impolite to those with differing beliefs.
When it comes to values, as long as you aren't imposing yours onto others, there shouldn't be a problem. Just because you don't think women of Islam should be wearing a hijab doesn't give you the right to tell them that they're oppressed. That's the only thing I hate about people pushing their beliefs and values onto others.

To anyone who thinks morals/values come from a divine source, read Euthyphro by Plato.

Morals aren’t good because God agrees with them or they agree with him, they are good because they are God’s qualities and we should strive to be like our creator.

@@boblincolninc.9654 Ok, but does God favor certain actions because they are inherently good, or are these actions considered good simply because God favors them?

@@jess4750 What I said before is my response, neither they are good because God IS them.
