Isle of Wight Festival's John Giddings on 50th anniversary

Isle of Wight Festival-goers turned up in stylish ensembles on the first day of the popular music event at Seaclose Park, Newport. This weekend temperatures will reach 75F in parts of Britain. This year is a special year for the Isle of Wight Festival, which is celebrating 50 years since it was first founded. It has been a slow start to the festival for some revellers, who faced queues on arriving at the campsite today.
