@@BoxOfCurryos bruh
it's not and never was...
such an under rated song. gives me goose bumps
Mate..... Goosebumps 2020 😜
Right un £u@king real 👊👊👊👊💪💪💪💪✌️
@Enmanuel 2022 baby
How is it under rated??? That type of comment doesn't make any sense at all.....no foo fighters tracks of there first album is under rated, its some of there best stuff in my opinion, but I like other albums also but there first is amazing, what music needed at that time, well guitar music anyway ......too say its under rated is crazy?!?
Same here brother
William Goldsmith was an incredible drummer live
his power is really really good.
I mean it's all right
I think Taylor was a better fit. Goldsmith was pretty good. Was kinda screwed up how he left the band but it's Dave's band and at the end of the day he'll male hard decisions for his music.
agreed. i reeeaaally wanna see sunny day real estate live
Timing was always a little off. Played at a faster tempo obviously
One of the greatest songs ever written
the mix on the record too is just amazing
Rare footage of dave not wearing black onstage

We're not gonna mention Pat demolishing a punk ass song on a double neck SG. Legend shit
I fucking love this song
Foo Fighters first album is their best forever
Truth!
My personal favorite off their first record. Seen them live twice and they didn't play this 😩
It's hard for me to pick THE favourite song from their first album, but this one is for sure in the top
i have too many favs from all foo albums. i think i will always remain disappointed that they missed one in live. haha. personally i like this song a lot
I saw them on their very first tour , spring of 95 ... they played EVERY song 😉
@@joshuamartins9487wow good for you
Just to correct ya the first album is JUST Dave playing all of the instruments he did it by himself in 6 days 😳
The sound quality is INSANE
HAHAH PAT IN THE CORNER PLAYING A DOUBLE NECK LOL
lol
Is Jimmy page lol
They need to play some of these old tracks again. Also they should go back to their roots like this.
Or they could just start playing Bee Gees songs 😂
@@jafuni9349 *Dave Grohl liked this comment*

Punk is not Dead. It's in our hearts.
Best song he ever wrote.
Summersault festival was in Australia 1995-96. I saw them at the Perth show. I will always remember this summer and Summersault as one of the most life-defining periods of my life. I was 15. Listening to this now as a 40-year-old doctor gives me chills down my spine. What a band!
What does u being a doctor have anything to do with it
@@seantwine8572 to show how far and old hes become since then
Been listening to this album again. Man it's great. Sounds like this are just brilliant

Unorganized Caos, Perfect timing….I saw them in 1995 I’ll never forget how good it was
its crazy to see how much better they all got over the years performance wise.
best foo fighters song
My favourite Foo song...
Man, 1995. Better days.
with this pov it feels like i time traveled back in time
Good grief => alone and easy target => serve the servants
so badass man dave sounds so good live
My absolute favorite Foo song, thank you so much for this video!
My fave Foo song. But apparently they have haven't played it live since 1996?
I think they played it once in 1997, 1998, and 2000
this is one of my favorite foo fighters songs
William Goldsmith was a good drummer.
He was a great drummer, Dave is fuckin hard to impress, William couldn't do what Dave wanted so Will walked out
@@LylaTheLich I think he was good at playing things that were already created but he had a hard time creating the way Dave envisioned drum parts to be. So they just didn’t gel or have that proper chemistry which pretty much makes every band unique from the others.
Yes he was. Taylor's still in because he's far better than Dave.
Timing was off in the beginning of the song.
@@LylaTheLich no offense to Taylor, RIP, but Goldsmith was better IMO
Omfg this is gold!
One of my favourite songs by FF 🤘😍
Holy crap!! The original song is fast...this is WARP-SPEED!!!!
Hey, dad!
😆 hate it hate it hate it hate it!
This is such an awesome angle, really feels like you're there!
This is wonderful, I'd have liked to be there in that period!
Thank you for sharing. Phenomenal.
fucking good song....pat smear the best guitarist and musician of the foo fighters
Back when this band was good.
Thank you
their best song
La mejor canción de Dave para mi.me trae recuerdos del 95 ,despues de lo de kurt
Una de las mejores sin duda, lástima que hoy en día no la toquen, creo que no la tocan hacen unos 17 o 19 años :c
thank you 🎉
Long live the 90s ✌🏾🤘🏾
Awesome drummer too. Power house drummer !😜😀👍he has some stamina.😜😀

This song sounds like a Tony Hawk games’ song

Melhor música da banda. Pena não tocarem 😢❤
Such a great tune
This 1st record was so fuckn good
ROCKANDROLL!!!
🤘🏽
Alpha song !
My mans is rocking a double neck 0:20
Sound quality is effin' butter.
Pat casually holding a doubleneck. Huh.
Any time I see any foo live performance I wonder what the hell was doing Dave playing drums in Nirvana. He should have been always the man.
He was watching Kurt and learning lol
William Goldsmith is a fucking killer behind the drum kit.
Nice sound!

They were so much better back then in my opinion,a bit too radio friendly these days.....😕
I agree 100%. They're tailored to mainstream pop rock now. First couple albums were really good.
@@pluggedmountain first one is definitely the best
Have you in your possession all their albums ?

BEST SONG OF FF
Wow, this is really old footage - how were you able to record such a good, clear sound?!?
Cause the sound is a different source. Is a soundboard recording, just like the title says.
@@davidchez513 I dunno how to tag the channel, but how did you get soundboard audio Andy?
These drums hit different now
That's not taylor
Johnny Ramone would've been all downstrokes for practically the entire song! And THAT's the genius of the RAMONES! I know, I know...So random. But I just saw how Dave played and then I began to think about Billy-Joe from Green Day as well (Who plays the same way for the most part) and just, a lot of other 90's bands that were into and/or had that older punk sound to a degree yet definitely didn't play guitar the way the old-school punk bands did. As john Frusciante once explained as to the difference in that particular technique...It just sorta gives the song a whole other vibe it seems.
this song is perfect for anime opening
I Can remember Triple J doing this radio broadcast
He plays this song waaaay too different in this version
I wonder how much they’d charge to play a gig in shorts today.
