- Here is how to make a mask using NO POWER TOOLS and NO SPRAY PAINT. I often get comments from people who think a Dremel is required to make a mask, but it isn't. So I wanted to prove that myself and also present my "Mask Maker Kit" now available in my Etsy shop:

I used to watch the old mask videos constantly when i was in middle school. When it came to me making my own i used one of those $1 masks at the dollar store and it used all of yours techniques that worked perfectly obviously.

Pt 7 was my favorite looking mask so I love how you went out of your way to make this one look like that one. Loved all the easy hacks you provided and made it so we didn't need any Dremels or expensive power tools or even spray paints to get it looking this good. This month i bought mod pod it really good
There’s a fan film called Friday the 13th vengeance, it’s based off of part 6 and and the mask is a mix up between part 6 and part 7 just add the bullet hole in head and part 7 damage on both sides of mask
My trick is using a custom color trim paint because it will dry flexible and resists chipping ut also allows it to stand up to bring hit

Using a good pair if poultry shears ( if you have a good pair in your kitchen) will cut much easier.

That’s nice man, can you do a challenge and make a Galaxy Jason mask?, I’ve done galaxy paintings with only spray paint and it’s a lot easier than you think you just need to be careful with some things but I think with your skills you would do great!!!

Always use organic paint.
I don't know where else to put this but, if you do make a mask with spray paint do not use a lot of shiny clear coat, sometimes it looks good with shiny or gloss in low amounts but I recommend a matte finish. Alot of clear coat can ruin a mask.
It's subjective for sure! I love a lot of shine on my mask, but a matte finish looks great if you're looking for a "worn" mask instead of a display piece like me. Thanks for the comment www.etsy.com/shop/BigHushStuff

use a candle not a lighter or matches to add carbon to a mask.

Would it also be possible to soak the mask in coffee? So it gets the aged look? It works on paper, so why not on the mask? :)

Huh that’s strange, I bought the same mask but whenever I put it on my head it really straps around the nose and above but at the bottom it’s what it’s meant to be, do you know how to fix this?

I'm just trying to help! I was frustrated to think that people weren't making masks because I made it seem as if a Dremel was the only way to modify them. Or that Spray Paint was the only way to paint them.
It all good but you make all of your mask has help me in so many ways you do not know and in my room I have a wall with Jason mask because I love to paint mask when I m older I want to have a mask shop what are all made by me
