Congratz on your new 430! You asked us to chime in so heres the opinion: it looks GREAT in black. I love how its carbon bits blend in. The original owner probably thought a ferrari were flashy enough, but here are these carbon bits that only people whos familiar with the car will notice and appreciate. The color matched stripes to the rims are perfect. No haste changing the look of this one Jayemm! Gratz again.
I thought exactly the same. Hearing him say he wants golden rims on this literally felt painful. I would rather think about painting the break calibers also in grey.
I think you made great decisions with the cars you purchased and totally understand the reasoning behind each one. Having that diversity allows for different driving experiences and, in theory, will keep you interested in each one for quite some time. The fact that you got a replacement with all that extra carbon is a great bonus!
Not usually a fan of carbon trim, but in this case, I'm happy to make an exception. Usually carbon trim (as opposed to a carbon tub) is all about the bling factor, but this is stealth carbon. It's a set of subtle details you don't even notice until you look a little closer, and I love that.
That whole opening segment was sublime and exactly the reason why I rate the channel so highly. Ignore the whinging dribblers mate, your channel and ever increasing popularity is proof that doing things the way YOU want to is working wonders 👍🏻

Congrats James! Wasn’t expecting another Scud but completely get it. If I was lucky enough to be in a position to buy a car if that ilk, it would be either a Scud or a 997.2 GT3 👌🏻
James, I’ve owned both. Great taste in cars. The 997.2 is fantastic, and honestly I was worried the Scud could not top the driving experience. I was not able to properly drive the Scud on my test drive in a major city. I took a leap of faith. First time I hammered it on a back road back home my worries disappeared. The V8 scream tops the mezger howl and seeing the horse on the steering wheel is much more special. Reliability is the only thing I worry about. I knew the GT3 was gonna start every time with no warning lights. Scud is just a matter of time.
I still love the early F355. You're building a great collection there. I had a suspension rattle on mine for a few years, changed shocks, bushes etc. Turned out to be a gearbox mount.

Great car that Jay, who cars what some people may say as long as you are happy that’s all that matters. Can’t wait to see more of it on the channel. 👍👍
Stunning. I’ve got an Aston at the moment and am considering something perhaps in addition to my vantage. I find the market from say 60-130k extremely difficult (as in too much choice).
Looking forward to more content , especially the colour change process… think it looks great as is though.. one minor point .. will it need a front number plate / or reflective sticker?
Lets hope the rattle gets cured this time! If I had that kind of money I would probably go for a GT3 Touring, preferably in Cobalt blue or Speed yellow. As it is I have to settle to building myself a seven type of car, hopefully getting it registered next year.
Good choice getting another one, I love that car. My neighbor has a red 16M Spider and I have never gotten tired of seeing or hearing that car. You should definitely get a 355 also, my buddy has matching purple F430s and 355 Spiders and they are just gorgeous. Once the car market goes back to normal I will probably get a 430, I think the 458 is hideous and the 488 and onwards are uninteresting and all seem to blend together.
Dear Jame’s, I love your honesty. It’s hilarious how you say that Ferrari’s go through suspension bushes etc when most only have 2000 miles on the clock!!😂😂😂
I really like the look of your 'new' 430 and much prefer it over the grey one. I also think the wheels should be gloss black, the present grey alloys looks a little soft .... good but soft.
Be glad you didn't get a 355. They are beautiful and sound great to be sure but they are also an unreliable hangar queen. Not what you want on your driveway (because its broken).James..if you *really* want some attention to this channel that will have people hanging out for each episode...have the new Scuderia converted to a manual box. I could almost guarantee there would be universal excitement over this. There are companies doing it now, very successfully and, it would make your Scud quite unique on RUclips. Why not run a poll on this channel for a month and let the vote results speak for themselves?
@Richard Harrold No intention of "demanding a binding result" however he *did* buy it with a main criteria of it being a business enhancing part of his fleet, not just a toy for him to enjoy in private. I can't imagine a better way of drawing views here than a steady stream of workshop videos showing the hardware and engineering required to make it all work. Not to mention owning the *only* manual 430 Scuderia on YT. That's some pretty big bragging rights...
Well I can't say I expected that. I think you've gone for a very left field choice here, it'll be interesting to see how different it is to the scud.
Great comment! No spoilers 👌

You should definitely get a 355 also, my buddy has matching purple F430s and 355 Spiders and they are just gorgeous. Once the car market goes back to normal I will probably get a 430, I think the 458 is hideous and the 488 and onwards are uninteresting and all seem to blend together.
Congrats Jay ... Gorgeous Spec ... Perfect Addition To The Stable
Dear Jame’s, I love your honesty. It’s hilarious how you say that Ferrari’s go through suspension bushes etc when most only have 2000 miles on the clock!!😂😂😂
Lovely car. Personally I would go for mercedes SLS from that era. Hopefully will get someday soon 😀
Sam from STG had his 360 sounding awesome- maybe the same people he used can sort the exhaust issues. Love the car.
I think this is the best spec for a Scud. I wouldn’t put gold wheels on it, but it’s not my car so please do whatever you want 😉
I like the black and the carbon making it look subtle. Looks great to my eyes. Enjoy.
Well done James! And thank you for sharing, with this great video.
Awesome car. I love the colour the way it is. The wheels look great on it. I'd not change a thing about the way this thing looks
Your money, your choice, your car, your free to do exactly what you feel the need too do, thats my opinion, keep up the interesting video's.
I really like the look of your 'new' 430 and much prefer it over the grey one. I also think the wheels should be gloss black, the present grey alloys looks a little soft .... good but soft.
Don't worry about doing cars other youtubers have covered - people come here for your perspective and you can't get that anywhere else.
I like this spec better than the old one. I agree that the CF needs to be paired with a contrasting color for it to really stand out.
Screw the haters, i rekon your a great youtuber bro!!! 😀😊☺ kind regards ben from NZ
Congratulations Jay!! This one is a keeper if you ask me!
P.s. idk what makes the best RUclipsrs but I can say you are one of my favorites!
Amazing introduction of the car!
Love the funky intro music and the retro ending bit.
I couldn’t agree more with GM
The finance company might have an issue if I ripped the gearbox out - plus for me it's part of the character of the car!
@Richard Harrold Ive seen it. I was referring to UK RUclipsrs, perhaps I should have been more specific to satisfy any possible objections.
Many congrats on your "new" Scuderia.
To be honest, I was half expecting something completely left-field (like a GT40) as your chosen replacement. 😅
GT40 is definitely an option
@@JayEmmOnCars What about a Corvette C8 Z06 ?
There's only one dealer for them in the UK and they are awful
I was reeeeealy hoping it'd be an Ultima. Tiny amount of YT content on them and they're just wicked
Great decision! I’d rap it rosso mugello or light blue… can’t wait to see what u do to it
FWIW, do the mechanicals of course, but the colour and the wheels - I think they look great.
