Oh I did not know I could use titan tip into my graco spray machine. I will try it later. Graco gave me useless orange guard when I bought spray machine. Thanx much for interesting info.
I sincerely mean this , excellent breakdown on explaining in the most understandable manner I've heard yet to be put forth by anyone on you tube . And for that matter simply put as it is simple in its concept. However you might be surprised at how many life time 20 yrs plus painters who did not know this . Not to mention could u sway them to understand once they had there own way of making those tips work in their minds . I've never had patience for that type of irrational reasoning. As a paint biusness owner you want to be able to trouble shoot or delegate your desire to your foremans on each job and what you want for a final product. When they are absent of the technical knowledge of painting , and yes there is alot of knowledge . It can be frustrating , the difference between 20$ per hour and 35$ per hour to all painters who can't understand why they get less hourly then the other guys making top dollar . You would be a great instructor in apprenticeship classes for those pursuing there journeyman card and checking off all the boxes and special certificates. Very nice job explaining it in a understanding way and putting it into a relevant scenario which helped furthermore . I will be having all my guys and newbies from here on out listen to this ☆☆☆☆☆ 👍 . You should do repacking airless pumps and basic rig maintenence.
That was a incredibly helpful and professionally produced instructional video! Can't thank you enough. I'm wanting to spray 10-12 pieces of "Woodard" wrought iron outdoor furniture with a quality (rust inhibiting?) metal paint. I'm assuming I'd want to use a tip starting with a "3" (for smaller 6" fan pattern) yes? What orifice size would you be inclined to try?
That's a difficult question to answer without knowing more about your specific material and what kind of finish you hope to achieve. You could consider a large orifice tip like the Graco LTX521/525 or larger like this one: spraywell.com/graco-ltx521-rac-x-switchtip-521/
A new seal is included with each tip. Is the seal in the package specifically designed for the tip in the package? When should you replace the seal? Another painter on RUclips says the seal that comes with the Graco FFLP must be used with that particular tip to take full advantage of the low pressure tip, that the seal is specifically designed to work with a low pressure tip. Is this correct?
I have a Wagner Control Pro 130 equipped with a 515 HEA tip. I plan to use that with the latex paint for walls and ceiling. What is the most efficient tip I should use to paint the trim with latex semi-gloss paint inside my house?
I use a 213 or 313 and so do alot of fellas. However if ya get into some stacked or customized trim with 8"-10 " base or waynes Coatings and shadow boxes then you will want to switch tips out on them maybebto a 413 or or 513 even . If you condition your paints you can use 211 , 311 and have even less usage . But I find that I spray and exterior coat in the end pretty much evening out the usage but getting a better finish. Thats if your not using air assisted and airless spray rigs . Which I suggest you get . I've been using for a decade and would never go back the 3600 from titan cap gun is the dream for your next trim project or furniture, or house , or biusness , or factory ! That's right it does it all. But good luck . You'll be styling with a 313 in your Wagner for your project too. It very versatile hope it turns out good for ya

You say “Titan only makes one and makes it nice and easy” yet you don’t expound on WHY Graco has different tips/guards. Titan has only one because they can’t cater to the vast amount of different applications there are in the field. Helpful video to a small degree but failed to explain the full benefits of various Graco tip selection. There are better videos on the manufacturer’s websites.
Thank you! Best video I've found on explaining spray tips!
Definitely the best video explaining tips and guards!
