      Thank you, is it Brenda? I can't tell from your handle, not to worry if you'd rather not say 🥰

    Both pairs of trousers look great! I always attach waistbands with the method you used. I usually add a bit of extra length to the side where the button goes which extends under the buttonhole. I think it helps to keep the zip looking flat. I also will use the “reverse” method for sewing neck binding, and cuffs on blouses. Works anywhere you’re topstitching and need to catch the fabric on the inside of the garment. Happy sewing, Cara. x

    I love your trousers! They look really good on you. I wish I had just half your sewing talent. I think I will look for a pattern without side seams like yours and love the waistband assembly. Looks so neat. Thanks so much for taking us along!

    Those pants look great on you. I love that eggplant color one. You have created “speed sewing”. Love it!
    All I did today was eat, snack, lay around and watch Colorado football. I LOVE football. I’m going to regroup and start sewing in January. I am having withdrawals for sure.

    The pants are a great style for you Cara. Lovely fabrics and colors, as always, and the waistband is so much easier this way. I'm finally at a point where I can deviate from pattern instructions a bit and apply finishing touches that work for me. My poor sewing machine is telling me it needs a tune up. The automatic threader has had it and I've gone long enough without my thread cutter! While it's at the Spa, I'll be getting some patterns and fabrics cut out! Enjoy a lazy. warm Sunday.

    The trousers look great! I have a few snack curves myself 😉. I like the method of finishing the waist band that you showed. I often do mine like that and it gives a really nice finish. You looked really smart for going out, you pack a lot into a day!

    Thank you for the waistband tip, I will definitely use that method, i have some rather 'disappointing' inside waistbands! I notided the pattern is for a button fly, How do you adapt to a zip?

    • @sosewmad
      @sosewmad  15 дней назад +1

      Hiya I kind of explain in one of the videos might be day 3 that you just use 2 pieces of the pattern for the zip, not 3, it's a simple adaptation just fold one piece in have to create a zip fly
