I mean that car is about $150 more you just put $8k into that RS3! It’s a wrap unless you got something puttin down really serious power! I’ve seen one with total weight reduction with a bigger turbo plus some what built bottom end on stock transmission put up almost 1000HP and it was unbeatable until a 1300HP GTR came along. However that’s what it takes to beat this car at that point $200k+ for most builds including the car and no not one stock hellcat even had a chance lol!

I agree. I find it craazy that no one mentions it. I swear I literally could live with that “clunky” “slow” transmission if it makes sounds like that. Kind of the same with a Camaro ss and ZL1 even though v12 sounds better but it has the same silence between shifts
wanted to add years later...my 2018, Stage 2 on E85 has 110,000 miles on it and its still strong, reliable, amazing car. I barely drive my 3, M3's b/c the RS3 is so fun on the street. Great job Audi

They intentionally made it with a single clutch box that was slower than a dual clutch to add emotion and rawness to it, as well as sound. Bouces your head off the seat unlike a double clutch box thats silky smooth

when Vin said it made 565 WHEEL horsepower, on a Mustang dyno, that means it made almost 700 crank, which is a shit ton of power
It also made a lot more power than it should have before the mods, so I'm not sure how well calibrated that dyno is.
