Not so Fun Fact...I completely lost my voice for two days last year and one of my first graders had to teach the class (aka...help the class... after she read my notes as to what to say...she was one of my super smart and super loud no nonsense kids....love her!)! I could not call in sick because I was taking two days off later that week for my daughter's bridal shower.
Our job is ridiculous that way...when you are sick, you are sick! We cannot predict or keep it from happening! If we could, boy could we sell that secret! :)
I also lost my voice the last week of school in December! Our grades aren't due until next week. I still have a few students to do. When we go back we still have to finish our writings from December. Reindeer count after Christmas, right!?
Absolutely they do! Try playing that Reindeer Camera for them! My classes LOVED it!! 😁❤️
