Man, I sold a 04 Civic last month that I had for about a month. It was the same color as yours and had faded paint on the roof, trunk and hood. Because it was a manual car I had a hard time selling it. Now days people do not know how to drive manual vehicles. Great job on the car, Boss.
Wow! I just subscribed after watching a few of your Car flipping videos (VW, Kia, Jeep and this one). I'm inspired by the fact that you do this for fun and also earn some profit while doing so. Keep doing what you doing man. Waiting for your next videos. Best wishes for the future.😊👍 - Kalpesh
I use ACV and it seems like the cars need more than they report. For some reason the last 4 cars I've gotten from ACV needed front wheel bearings, front axles, brakes and plugs. Since ACV do not drive the vehicles they are not able to give you a full detail. I think the former owners of these cars run the hell out of them and just trade them in. Pick up a Nissan Sentra that reported it had check engine light on and that was it. I pick up the car and notice while driving it home that it needed wheel bearings, brake pedal went all the way to the floor and the dam exhaust was vibrating badly. Man I was pissed but it's part of used car business lol.
@@cubedmack I haven’t had to much luck with Acv as well. I think back lot cars does a better job telling you Whats actually wrong with the car. There has always been way more surprises with Acv. I feel you!
now imagine had you snagged a Civic Si.. in manual.. and did the quick paint repair.. probably would have doubled your profits.. wont lie i do this on the side for income spot repairs..
The used car market and prices is a complete mess now. This was a great video and you made a profit because you have the means to repair the car yourself. Any other person would have paid $1000 to do those repairs.
Yea for sure things are crazy! But i would say when flipping cars make sure you figure out what you are strong at. Then buy the cars accordingly. Some people are mechanically inclined. I can paint so I would try to find cars that need minor bodywork. Get good at one or the other then you can save big.
@@flippingcarsforfun yes there’s so many different levels of cars you can buy. I prefer vehicles that need repairs but have a solid engine and transmission. These days you have to be smart to avoid competition from other dealers who also want to buy the cheap cars to resell.
I wouldve either taken a smaller non-refundable deposit or kept part of his 2k as a nusiance fee. He didnt do his due diligence. That shouldn't be your problem.
@@flippingcarsforfun I flip bicycles. I take non-refundable deposits all the time. If someone gives you money, it's a contract. Like obviously I'd be reasonable with the kid. I wouldn't have kept 2k of his money. Probably 200 would've sufficed. It's a learning lesson and he should learn his lesson for next time.
So what’s the point of the guy giving you a deposit if he can just change his mind? Not being a smart ass just curious… shouldn’t part of that be non refundable since you’re not entertaining other buyers while the deal is “pending”? Nice flip!

A least u sold the car, but deposits sometimes don't work.

Definitely a unique sale. But most young civic drivers like stick shift. Any other car brands I’m not sure. Thanks for watching Wayne.
