I definitely see TVD vibe, you mentioned lol. Both kits to me, seem meh but, the bistro one would be my favorite out of the two. I really hope we see a teaser for the new expansion pack. I’m so excited to see how they will make a whole pack about romance/love. Love the video btw! Your videos always make me smile! 💕
Definitely the bistro kit for me it’s so my vibe I’m going to enjoy it so much
I loooove the bistro kit as someone who does not feel like there is ever enough community lots
the Riviera Retreat kit looks like it would go well with the Spa Day pack or in a resort that has a spa and then a lovely outside area to chill at by the pool. I dont tend to buy kits but might actually get this one. The Bistro one i am still unsure on getting.

I was wondering if they might do that too! Though thinking back I feel like they try not to put distinct landmarks like that in worlds so it's more nebulous where the world could be located.
They probably won't, they avoid putting real life famous buildings like these, though I can share your sentiment.
I'm not sure they'll follow the Parisian vibe as I thought it feels more like other parts of France, maybe an imaginary big city like Paris OR a smaller scale city in the vibe of southern France?

As a french person, that would be very unsettling...especially that 90% of France hates Paris

The Riveira is my favorite Kit and it pairs good with the Pool CAS Kit.
I really like the riviera retreat kit - I tend to gravitate to kits that seem to give us something newer (like the waterfall rocks)
I did some image searching after googling top romantic destinations lol (4 of the top ten being Paris or places along the French/Italian Riviera) because I remembered that initial rendering that reminded me of Mexican or South American buildings with bunting that resembled papel picado. I had forgotten that the south of France they actually does something similar as well. I pulled up images of the south of France/French Riviera and I could see it being the world we're getting with nods to Parisian style since, as we know, the Sims team tries not to be too on the nose about what cities worlds represent. Also, I know something common to France (and Italy) is central fountains in squares and the throwing of coins to wish for things, which reminded me of the fountain rendering in the road map. Now with the kits, I'm feeling even more strongly about it being somewhere in France or a place similar. For example, a world setting I feel like I haven't heard mentioned that has similar vibes as well is Spain! That could also tie into the Hispanic influences myself and other Simmers were getting from the road map and would actually be a more unique destination to add to the game. While I'm sure whatever world we get will be beautiful as that hasn't been an issue with packs lately, my biggest hope is that it's somewhere new and fairly distinct from what we have in the game so far, which is why I was rooting for Mexico or South America.
Also, thank you for taking the time to review the kits! It's always so helpful when you and other simmers do this so people can see exactly what they would be getting so they can make more informed decisions.

I wished for a French world for so long, but if it is inspired by southern France then i'm even more THRILLED.
I was thinking that if the new expansion pack is not French then I could see Venice ( Venezia) vibes. It is also a romantic city. I personally would love to have French and Venezia worlds in the game.
There is big potential with the Bistro kit for some amazing builds (with other packs like Dine out) that gets me excited. I am most excited to see how these both work with the Season of Love Expansion Pack. I'm really feeling like these are all headed toward hotels. Especially with For Rent having come out last "season"
I purchased both kits, which is something I don't normally buy. I really like both of them a lot!! I did not get the fountain when I placed the rocks on the edge of the pool, maybe I had it placed backwards or something. I will try again though, because I really like that feature. ❤❤
I'm with you on VD vibes. Lol. Big fan, even to this day. Wonder if whoever made the kit is a VD fan. LOL. The second kit I'll probably buy. 1st one just seems like too much recycled content. Only thing I might use if I buy it is the gazebo. We have like a million chairs already it seems like and already have lounge chairs.
I really love both of these kits and glad the lowest quality item is the lamp. I was nervous after the yogurt dispenser from party essentials lol. Will be using your code when I purchase, love your videos 🥰💜

Maxis made us think the nectar bottle was useable but it's not. I can still use it though for romantic decor.

I like the bistro kit I made a strawberry one lol all pink lol 😅I didn’t get the pool one because I don’t use pools like that but after watching your video I will probably get it to go with the romance pack etc but the bistro kit is nice I love 💕 it and I made it a lounge but you can use different venue lots like you said with that pack. You can honestly use both packs with normal everyday game play etc just my opinion and it’s only 5$ lol
