Sorry to hear of the passing of Roy Clark , The Oak Ridge Boys used to be Roy's background singer's in the late 1970's ! God bless you Roy Clark . . . 🎤 🎻 🎻 🎻 🎹 🎸 🎵
A beautiful song--what a voice!! I really miss the days, when I'd go see The Oak Ridge Boys perform live, over at the Puyallup fair, every year--the tickets were only $10.00!! My, how times have changed!😊💒
take a listen to this same song by the Righteous Brothers (Bill Medley & Bobby Hatfield) ruclips.net/video/eEUH_W47aJc/видео.html . The Righteous Brothers sang the song in 1974.
whether some gripe about the upload or dont, who cares, the audio quality may not be up to par, BUT i do appreciate your uploading this. ive been looking for this video or the audio or whatnot, and at least ive found it. thank you. Aaron
I grew up in the 1980's, this song makes me sad. It reminds of when America was a land of dreamers and risk takers, not the socalist crap we have fallen into now.
The Oak Ridge Boys did a great job on this. I have always loved the Oak Ridge Boys. If anyone is interested take a listen to this same song by the Righteous Brothers (Bill Medley & Bobby Hatfield) ruclips.net/video/eEUH_W47aJc/видео.html . The Righteous Brothers sang the song in 1974. The Oak Ridge Boys sang the song in 1979. Both are equally good. Love both of these groups of talented singers❣❣
Harold Reid was so funny. I remember the time he said, "The Oak Ridge Boys told us, 'The Statler Brothers may have won more awards than we have, but at least we have a better-looking bass singer.' I have not met their new bass singer." :-D
This song never gets old.
A true classic
And this song never gets old to me-a true classic
My Amanda Petrelli was born Feb. 1983 I sang this wonderful song to my daughter her first couple years LOVE...

I love the way this begins with playing the piano. Great song by even greater performers. Good O'le Oaks !

Real talent!! You don't hear this in today's music.
Richard Sterban has one of the best voices in popular music.
A beautiful song--what a voice!! I really miss the days, when I'd go see The Oak Ridge Boys perform live, over at the Puyallup fair, every year--the tickets were only $10.00!! My, how times have changed!😊💒
I fell in love with Richard Sterban's beautifully smooth bass voice on this song.
One of their best by far.
Chris Bailey i always thought so

Richard Sterban has had a golden voice. So smooth.
I've watched hundreds of videos & rarely does the timing match, this video is nice & better than nothing. The Oak Ridge Boys are great -get a life!
desertdawn226 I agree
Agreed! A wonderful video of some very talented guys!😄💒

Prayer Time Song in My Heart....
Morning Prayers.....
If I was married to this man, I would make him sing me to sleep everynight.
Faye Sheetz I sound just like Richard, will that work?
Faye Sheetz
So would I, eventually. lol
My very favorite song of theirs. I can actually sing the bass part of this song 🎵 😌

I lust that man.
Great but definetly not live,Look at how often camera doesnt do close ups!!Lip synching yes!Thats why not many close ups,
Look at the Newton Theatre concert of this song. Its live and well done!!~
I heard someone say dream on led to me this song and not the Aerosmith song totally different huh
I love this song. But they cut off the ending, and the sound quality of this video is terrible. Bummer.😒💒
the bass singer for Statlers can't hold a light to Sterban
Harold is good but I agree Richard is better
Jerry Hubbard I agree

I don’t know. Harold was great but he was definitely a guy who held up the bottom and didn’t have the kind of voice that could take a lead like this
@@pegallen6983 Harold and Richard are both good, but neither of them can hit the low notes like JD Summers. JD's low even when he spoke.
Poetically optimistic.
Rip Joe
Nice but Righteous Brothers’s is by far so much better. No comparison !!
I was in a rock 80s band, my voice is as deep as his, I was compared to him, only rock of course!
this blue cross shit is getting old!!!
