What a glorious tribute. Joe WAS the perfect one to sing this song. The Promised Land is our home for those of us in Christ. Thanks, Joe, for a life well lived....now on to your reward. Continued prayers for his family and the ORB's. Thank you Jesus, there will be a grand reunion one day. Thank you for posting this. ❤
Joe Bonsall all of the Oakridge Boys fans will miss you a lot! But we know that you are in a great place where you no longer hurt and suffer from the A.L.S. The first time I saw you guys sing was in 1974 and 15 years old. I just loved the 4-part harmony ❤️! I hope you did let the Lord take you by the hand and take you around heaven. I'm sure you were able to hear your mom sing and hug her! And your dad's arms around you and you hugged him back. A 'Promised Land'! We can just imagine what it is like and it has to be the most beautiful place there is because it is where Jesus and His Father God lives.
It's still hard for many us to believe these four guys will never perform again, but this is the perfect song for Joe. "Now don’t you worry, we’ll meet again

I had this song played at my husband’s funeral service just 4 weeks ago. He loved the Oak Ridge Boys.
I co-wrote the song. Played it at my Grandmother's and Step Mothers Funeral.

This song is a reflection of how he lived his life. Well done, good and faithful servant. I shed a couple of tears and is a reminder how we are living our lives.

July and August are hard months for me as I lost my parents in these two months. I found this song through Facebook Reels. I've bawled and bawled. This song is so touching and so accurate. What a joyous day it will be to be in Heaven with Jesus and all our loved ones.

Ohmigosh I needed this- the grief is really taking a toll. I know there is no more pain, and I am happy about that, but Joe and The Oaks have been such a major part of me for basically all of my life. ❤❤❤
