@@BrooklynBaby100 I mean, it isn’t completely true, but it’s mostly true. You can eat more Calories in 5 minutes than you can burn with 5 hours of intense exercise.
I wouldn’t say not a pound, but 95% of your weight loss is changing your eating. Eating less and also eating better foods. Certainly these hormonal medications make you eat far less and that’s what makes the difference. Amazing stuff. Working out is good to do, but unless you’re running for 2 hours a day, don’t expect to burn too many calories. A 30 minute treadmill run is a donut.
All medication can have "possible" serious side effects. Everyone is different so therefore, there are different outcomes. I am on it, and the only side effect I have is constipation.
Just started Ozempic, a peptide. I am 61, gene pool got me at age 43 and became diabetic. I have been a weight lifter since 18 years of age. I am blown away by the results. Having a hard time getting my insulin use dialed in now. But I will get that figured out soon. But I am satiated and not hungry like I used to be. Especially after leg days. I highly recommend this to all diabetics. Just be smart about insulin use.
I got pre-diabetes as a kid! I have been fighting my A1C up and down for decades now. The prospect of becoming a diabetic is scary as I have seen it in many family members.
That’s why a lot of people start gaining weight and they especially put weight around the abdominal area because as we age our hormones decrease and that creates an unbalanced. You usually see a lot more people getting diabetes as you age.
Very MISLEADING! Not that many peoples insurance currently fully cover Mounjaro even for diabetes. And the $25 coupon thing GOOD LUCK, they changed the terms of the coupon, its now $500 off which still makes it $500-$700 out of pocket a month and you can forget about it if you are non-diabetic and Mounjaro for weight loss.
I'm still getting it for $25/month with coupon and I don't have diabetes. The cost truly depends on if your insurance covers it at all (mine doesn't) and if your pharmacy of choice will honor the coupon 😉. Some will, some won't. Shop around, people!
I started Wegovy this month and with the coupon from the manufacturer it’s $832 a month! Yikes. It’s important though. Life saving and health saving. Not sure if the compounded versions are ok to use or what, but they’re much cheaper.

Thanks you Dr Igudia on RUclips for all you do in my life and my family. I went for a test today after taking the medication i ordered from Dr Igudia and I tested Diabetes negative. Thanks doctor I will keep letting the world know about your good work sir.
Do It all. Use the drug to speed up your results. But also work out: lifting weights and cardio, eat a protein based diet, and use the drug an and aid.
Notice how endocrinologist lady dodged the question about the cost of these drugs when you use them off-label. Another concern, which has been demonstrated in clinical trials, that even thought those drugs are quite effective in helping people lose weight, most of weight will be coming back after you stop injecting yourself with them.
Obesity is a chronic disease and has to be treated as such. If you have high blood pressure, when your medication gets you to an optimal blood pressure do you quit taking the medication? No! Because it’s a treatment, not a cure.
Obesity, overweight is a chronic condition so you take these medications long term. Otherwise the hunger returns. And since so many problems are caused by too much weight, this is an important investment in your overall health.
You will regain weight on ANY method of weight loss if you go back to your previous poor diet. There is no diet that will help you to keep the weight off.

@@Robinedghill Hi! I didn't say "forget" them, I said "forgo". As in, most people cannot easily forgo healthy carbs for any significant length of time, nor should they. Forgo has a different meaning than forget.
I did keto for over a month. I tested everyday to make sure I was in ketosis and I was. I hardly lost anything, maybe a few lbs. keto is BS and eating a bunch of meat and cheese is bad for you.

That's YOUR experience. I've been on Mounjaro for 3 months and not a single day of discomfort or nausea. Everyone is different and should explore and gauge based on how they're personally affected. I feel so good on this medication and I'm down nearly 30lbs! Speak to your primary about if it's right for you! The shot doesn't even hurt amazingly.
you can take the medication and eat healthily/exercise. Weight is a very complicated issue and actually cant always be fixed with just eating and exercise.
@@Uprising771 It's not an easy fix at all, and quite frankly that is a very ignorant comment. Obesity is extremely stigmatized and it is considered a disease. You need to treat obesity like any other disease, and obesity is very prone to relapses. There are many factors that play into obesity, and it's not just that "they're lazy" or "want an easy fix", there are many studies that show that Obesity is not a choice. No it’s not, what a stupid person sees GLP-1 as sex change drugs? And furthermore, who has a problem with people choosing their hormones? Diabetes is a hormonal disorder. Thyroid medication. This GLP-1 med. Testosterone Replacement Therapy. Eczema meds.
It’s primarily for diabetics. White women, as always, made it about themselves and this weight loss crazy is making it impossible for diabetics to get this med😤
You’ll never lose a pound at the gym. You have to change your intake of food.
Okay sure sinus guy 😂

How do you change dose on the pen?
you don't...they are pre-set...you get 4 pens a month at the same doses...then it increases monthly

Aetna won’t cover it. I’d have to pay 500$ to continue with it 😖
Any one try Berberine instead?

This isn’t Natty. Equivalent to steroid users for muscle gain except this injection is for weight loss.
