I have type 2 and in Sept started on Ozempic.... Its not the weight loss that makes me cry with happiness, its the calm my mind feels not having to constantly be hungry and thinking of food and my next meal. Now that I feel the same level of hunger that a typical person feels my stress levels are so much lower. The weight loss has lead to a much healthier circular impact chain, I sleep better with less weight on me while I sleep, because of that I am less tired and more alert during the day, the impact of that on my mental health is magical. I was prediabetic for 10 years and wish that someone would have explained how being prediabetic or diabetic impacts your appetite to me long ago so that I understood that it IS in fact harder for a diabetic to loose weight because their hunger signals are heightened due to screwy insulin related signals. I finally feel like my body is getting the nutrition it needed all along from my food and that the consistent and maintainable health related life changes that I make are having a difference.
THIS! You have said something I would have never realized in me. I'm always hungry and I hate myself for being always hungry. i have to hide food to eat because people around me would be like "you just ate" but I always feel hungry 😭😭😭 i can't help it. I hope I can get access to this in my country 😩
I would like to think that if a person was aware of the fact that diabetic patients was not getting and need it they would not ask for it, however it is up the the doctor to control it if a shortage exists and who should get it. Also some people weight may also be a health risk and might truly need it, so it is up the a medical profession to control it.
Yes I agree, the lack of hunger pangs is my favorite part! I have been having availability issues with my Mounjaro and haven't had an injection in two weeks so now I am beginning to feel those again. Hopefully they get this supply issue figured out soon. Back on Metformin for now :(
You can only lose weight and keep the weight off as long as you can AFFORD IT. The FDA did not do long term research with this med when it comes to weight lose and it's side effects

My husband with type two diabetes takes the shot and he is gradually loosing weight. But the side effects took his joy away from eating food. He is now lactose intolerant and he get so nauseous. It sucks but it saved his life.

As a over weight individual. I have taken doctor prescription appetite suppressants before, lost over 60 lbs in 12-18 months. So many other problems got better, my blood pressure, cholesterol, my sex drive, my self estem, chronic back pain was mostly gone. Most people with type 2 diabetes are there because they are obese. Why can't THEY lose the weight? They get a priority because their eating is even more out of control rather than someone acting preventively? Anyway, shortage is over now.
Much relief after going through this stuff ruclips.net/user/postUgkx-ip-9JdKgYMhubLnEjt3OXJkFyS4D2Jd Stress no doubt affects my blood sugar levels. Taking a walk usually helps bring them down. Eating sweets is not my favorite, but if i take a large portion of them, my blood sugar level rises high. I think it's the high concentration of the glucose flowing into the bloodstream all at once. This is a lesson worth taking note of. This is a great material to learn from.
I used it for about a year. I lost 50 lbs. but I could not handle how it made me so constipated. I’ve been off it now for 3 months and have gained back only 3 lbs. I think it’s changed how my brain thinks, in regards to hungry or not and sizing control. I am starting to feel normal again without abdominal pains. I plan to try and stay off as it’s never good to take medications no matter how they may work long term. So will see. Worst cash I’ll go back on in a year for hopefully only a few months if needed. But so far so good.

My sister has always been overweight , she was diagnosed as diabetic two years ago and last year was given the injection and lost over 80 pounds. Her doctor told her some of the companies might place a 2 year use limit on the injections because of the shortage. It's seem valid because now she is starting to look underweight and her health issues are under control.
@@macedoyareli No, I saw her last week and I was in shock on how thin she was. Both of our parents were diabetic, my dad died at age 48 and my mom at age 60 from pancreatic cancer....both were overweight. Because of family history they gave her the medication. It will be interesting to see if she stops the injections and gets back the weight. She didn't change her diet or start exercising. GLP-1 agonists like ozempic are good for losing weight loss, but they are not the only incretin mimetics that help with weight. DPP4 inhibitors, like Januvia are not as good for weight loss, but are good for weight prevention, and in my opinion, the idea of using GLP-1s to reach a better, healthier weight, then switching to a DPP4 to keep it off should be evaluated. You would not want to take both, since they are both incretin mimetics, and doing so would escalate risk of pancreatitis to potentially harmful levels, so using one then switch to the other seems like the best of both worlds.
Of course you'll feel great after losing weight at however way you lost it. Intermittent fasting will give you the same effects plus other health benefits. Leave the meds to those who really need them.
In 2018 I crossed the border between pre and diabetic type 2. I cut all sugar and carbs from my diet. I lost 60 pounds in one year. Reverted my diagnosis (without taking medicine) and I'm still on a sugar-carbs free diet. I chose to be healthy. Diabetis type 2 is a symptom. Not a disease.
In 2018 I toured the western USA after having been out of the country for thirty years. I couldn't BELIEVE the obesity in the USA, and then I saw the PORTIONS people were putting away at restaurants and especially buffets such as at Casinos. Couldn't believe it.
I have type 2 diabetes. I was on Ozempic for about 10 months. My A1c was doing well, I had lost about 30 pounds and was feeling pretty good. I was paying $75.00 for my medication. Then 2022 came and I went to get my prescription and they said “that will be $197.00 for one month. I can’t afford it. I had to quit taking it because of the costs. Maybe if they quit spending so much on advertising they could help out ones who can’t afford to pay that much. That’s even with my insurance. I’ve now gained all my weight back and my numbers are all raising. It’s very depressing.
So what the drug company is saying is, "Yes, we realize our drug causes weight loss. But that's not what it was created for and we're not about to be sued by people using it for that."
I'm not from the us and here it's widely used for weightloss. Government even pays for it if you have type 2 diabetes and high enough bmi. It's mad that some people aren't able to get the help they need, when this drug is one of the few ones that actually works.

May end up with pancreatic cancer...it's making your pancreas over produce. Pancreatitis also. Let's stop eating so much. That last guy had no neck. He's putting his life at risk not exercising or eating well.
He was a type 2 diabetic complaining that he could not get the drug for his condition of diabetes. All health conditions are fixed with diet people just don’t want to change habit
A cheaper version of this drug: cut down carbs, eat more greens, protein, fats, and eat bigger meals 2-3 times a day. No snacking. No processed garbage or sugar. Lowers insulin levels nicely. Some have an eating window (IF) so that the insulin levels get down. Lower insulin = body uses its energy reserve. Like you eat 2 meals in 6 hours. It works cause it manages the insulin levels.
There's an old saying: “Breakfast like a king; lunch like a prince; dinner like a pauper.” Make the first meal of your day your biggest, and only eat three meals a day.
@@shallwocharlie Well old sayings aren't all right. A big meal boggs you down. A light stimulant meal gets you going. That "three square meals a day" is a United Grocers sales ploy to sell you more food than you NEED. A big noon day meal is what most of the world eats, and definately no carbs after 4pm unless less you plan to work hard after you eat. Carbs turn to sugar in the body. Cancer loves sugar. Stay away from the 3 White Witches, Ionized salt, white flour and refined sugar. The French have a big lunch and then a nap in their 2-3 hour lunch times. We used to go to the beach for lunch. Many of us who are overweight can diet up the ying yang and it doesn't do anything. Dieting doesn't always work.. so please get yourself educated before you mouth off like this.
People actually need this medicine. My uncle went to every pharmacy in his city and wasn't able to fill his prescription because the medication is out of stock. He's actually diabetic.
The problem is, without getting to the root of what made you obese in the first place, they will have an incredibly difficult time keeping the weight off. That's why the likelihood of a person having a gastric bypass and gaining the weight back is 6% by year 2 but almost 80% by year 10 and this comes from someone who has a weight problem and has yoyo dieted all my life and always gained it all back.
Just diet and exercise 🙂 I personally lost 66 lbs (30 kg) in 8 months without losing any muscle and strength. I followed a “cyclical high fat, low carb” diet and this worked extremely well for me. Losing fat and keeping it of is incredibly easy if you know what you’re doing 🙂
I to have yoyo my weight. I have probably 10 plastic stackable storage canisters of clothes, i took Phentermine in 2014 for 18 months, lost over 60 lbs. All my other medical issues went away, plus just being lighter gave me energy. I kept it off for 4 years, but as it has been more difficult to get a doctor to prescribe medication dealing with weight loss, I have slowly gained it all back. When I was 200 lbs I was riding my bike 60 miles a week, swimming approximately 4-6 miles a week and maybe jogging up to 4 miles a week in the form of wind sprints/ interval laps, etc. As I have gained it all back, after a 10 hour work day, I am tired, dragging around my spare tire is draining. So after work I just want to get home and relax.
I've lost 100 pounds 3 times. The motivation is gone when I go into 'maintenance' diet after the weight loss. I agree, food doesn't just jump into our mouths, we put it there willfully. Finally at this point, I am doing well. I took a class called The Silva Method, a 4 day meditation workshop and am able to control my thoughts so I don't just randomly eat to feel good.

I took this med for weight loss and it worked. PLEASE LISTEN. As a result, this med led me to have an enlarged thyroid with large nodules on both sides I am still awaiting results as to whether or not they are cancerous and now about to undergo thyroid removal surgery. Sooooo, please be aware of the side affects and if you have a history of cancer in your family, think long and hard about taking it. Since stopping, my weight has increased a little bit, but that's o.k I have learned alot and seeking other options. I do not suggest anyone take it. Maybe not even for diabetes.
You're correct. There is a risk of developing thyroid cancer (animal studies, but not confirmed yet for humans in long-term studies). People need to weigh risks and benefits because while it might have advantageous or benign side effects, that means there might also be detrimental ones as well.
@Cat Mejia I agree, I list 50lbs that way and thought Ozempic would help. It actually stalled my progress. Another side affect is fatigue. I suddenly found myself to weak to work out. And now with Thyroid issues, not really able to. So again, I don't recommend this. The ONLY pro I have is that it definitely did help me to kick a major sugar addiction and learn what a healthy portion looks like. So, I'm working from there while seeking other methods to help me on my journey.
@@lilyofthevalley4435 A low carb diet is the best place to start if a person is pre-diabetic or diabetic either one. Several people on youtube for the past 2 or 3 years now have been recommending that and most of the people who have tried it have seen success in both some weight loss, but mostly in their blood sugars greatly improving.
This is gonna be the next oxy issue. I lost 150lb by diet and exercise. Took a few years but it’s possible when you tackle the underlying issues. Save the medication for the people who truly need it.
Yes you're correct of course, the underlying issue with doing anything in excess has its results although I think sometimes people need a boost. Especially if someone is older and has arthritis and can't just go to the gym etc., overeating is a form of addiction and just like having any addiction, going cold turkey is hard work especially if one cannot just abstain from food like one can from alcohol or drugs.
@@questionmark9819 I think you didn’t read my comment in its entirety. I took me a long time, over 5 years. It was slow, little changes here and there. Yes I agree with you some people need a start and I realize there are others who cannot go to the gym, etc, which is why I mentioned saving it for those who truly need it. Where I disagree is a lot of people who are using it, are capable of making lifestyle changes. You see this all over tiktok. Kim kardashian didn’t need it. Several women all over tiktok are using it like a miracle treatment. It’s these people who use it up for those who truly absolutely do need it either for diabetes or need it because of other factors like poor mobility, etc.

Obesity is also a disease! I think this type of medicine helps to reduce the obese population, consequently people who will need this medicine for the rest of their lives, because by losing weight, many manage to reverse the condition of diabetes or pre-diabetes. If someone uses the medicine for two years, he will lose weight and maintain the weight, in the meantime, he has already managed to change his eating habits, the way of thinking, and finally, he will no longer need to use the medicine, just use it for 2-3 years. Or would it be better to continue ignoring obesity as a serious illness and this whole group becoming dependent on diabetes medication for the rest of their lives? What is more profitable for the industry, keeping people obese and sick or treating the disease that in 2-3 years you will no longer need to use? The shortage problem will increase if this portion of the obese population is not treated, which may still be reversible!
1. This medicine will cause weight loss but as soon as they get off it they will regain that weight because they don't make any actual diet changes. 2. People with Diabetes NEED their medicine or they could actually die!
I found that passion flower acted as a dietary supplement for me. I used it for stress but it actually in term curved my appetite. It was but wasn’t nice. Because at the time I was in my early 20s and already relatively slim so I stopped taking it so often
Bruh, I highly doubt they told her if she doesn’t lose the weight she will die… They probably told her she needs to lose to weight to prevent many health conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes and so on. I feel like they should consider making a drug similar to this that is made for weight loss because I would be pretty upset if my mother who actually has diabetes type 2 couldn’t get her medication due to a unnecessary shortage.
Ive been on this for 4 months and let me tell you what it did to me. First of all, lost 12lbs and lowered my A1c from 7.5 to 6.1 in that 4 months. What it does to me and not sure if everyone else has this, it makes you feel full and have some abdominal discomfort in the form of what I call heart burn or acid reflux. So I have to somewhat pick what I know isnt going to make my stomach even more upset. So I only eat maybe 2 small meals a day vs the 3 larger ones I used to consume. So thats what it does to me, not sure if anyone else has had the same symptoms. Another thing, I say it should be used to treat alcoholics as well. With they way your stomach feels on this drug, makes alcohol less appealing.
You only NEED OE full meal a day, at noon is best. You should go to France and see how they consume food. Americans eat like pigs. FULL Piled up plates. Of GMOP #10 can crap in fast food places. How about making continuous glucose monitors (CGM) available and covered by insurance for those that are not yet diabetic so that they can see the impact of what they eat? I have found using CGMs extremely effective as my doctor and I can see every change in my blood glucose levels. It helps me keep low carb and move from prediabetic to normal insulin levels. But my first doctor would not prescribe it and my insurance won't cover it because I am not diabetic. Insanity! So I found a doctor who specializes in weight loss and reversing disease through keto (Dr. Tro) and now I can have a CGM but I pay out of pocket. Well if people are using for weightloss it benefits them in many way so how they look is not only important the patients are improving there health they are equally entitled to the drug as well. This doctor is making it seem the diabetes are more important but people who have obesity is just as important because of heart disease and high cholesterol. Etc….

GLP1 agonists are hormones that mimmick our natural hormones that lead to many positive effects. They are not only "antidiabetics" or "antiobesitics" just because some company puts that on the label. They are anti-metabolic syndrome as a whole, and people with obesity have as much right to treat themselves with best available medicine as people with diabetes (especially when 80% of people with diabetes became ill because they also were people with obesity first). Obesity is a disease and leads to other complications - CVD, many types of cancer, PCOS, arthritis, asthma, hypertension, diabetes, sleep apnea etc. After all, diabetics also largely use these meds for the weight loss effect, not just improving glycemic markers, because it is known that 15% weight loss can lead to remission of diabetes. And that's what guidelines recommend, lose 15% of weight or more as diabetic using these meds. Literally 50% of what we care about in type 2 diabetics is massive weight loss not achievable without meds. So...diabetes and obesity are more of sister diseases and patients are not to blame for shortage, unless they use it for small, cosmetic weight loss (like the Kardashians etc.) and have neither obesity nor diabetes and don't need it for any medical purpose.
What I take away from this is that it is great that people can use this to help treat their obesity and prevent obtaining diabetes in the future. I only hope that people don't depend on these medications long term just for weight loss. Once you get to a desired weight and fat %, it will be up to you to maintain that themselves.

I work in a pharmacy as a pharmacy tech I have seen many ozempic rx's with an obesity diagnosis code come across for men. Definitely not just women taking this crap
I'm diabetic I have high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I'm obese and I've had a heart attack. My doctor has to fill paper work out to request putting me on ozempic.
I’m happy for you! I’m an insulin dependent type 2 so Ozempic is not an option for me since my pancreas is dead in the water. 😭

why not just lower the dose?

A cheaper version of this drug: cut down carbs, eat more greens, protein, fats, and eat bigger meals 2-3 times a day. No snacking. No processed garbage or sugar. Lowers insulin levels nicely.

Yes you're correct of course, the underlying issue with doing anything in excess has its results although I think sometimes people need a boost.

I lived with diabetes for over a decade, and it was a constant struggle that weighed heavily on my shoulders. The frustration of trying different treatments and diets left me feeling defeated. It seemed like the more I hoped for a solution, the more I was
That is why idid not get my ozempic last November and December, i hope the company will make more of this, i am diabetic and i need this to lower my A1C.
I was only able to get 3 pens in 8months in Southern hemisphere.
Now taking daily injection saxenda, the daily injection not great for me due to severe pain conditions ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia.
...and now the issue is those of us who are diabetic and use this medication for blood glucose control can't get it because it's on a national backorder since it's being prescribed for non diabetic patients. 🤬🤬🤬
Y’all need to realize that obesity is also a disease. Which also can lead to death. It’s not just superficial. It changes your cravings and addiction to food. This is great resource for not only diabetics but obese people. Also it’s not just an over counter medication, a doctor has find it suitable enough for you, to prescribe it.
I love that this is available.
I don't love that it is available to anyone...I think it should be prioritized to people with diabetes and are already taking insulin.
As someone who was miss diagnosed at 17 and put on insulin and gained weight from it to the point I became obese.
This medication could of helped instead I worked out dieted to no avail.
What's even more frustrating is that CGMs are being marketed on TIKTOK for anyone rich enough to afford it just as a tracker, another apple watch feature basically.
I do think everyone can benefit from this and having a CGM, but can we please make it easily accessible to the ones with the disease first.
It’s not really available to anyone you need a dr to approve it. And the supply shortage sorta fake. As you can go to Mexico and get it there for a cheaper price
Exercise
@@jaywill163 Exercise helps but it doesn't fix the problem. Diabetes is caused by excessive consumption of sugars and refined carbs. Unless a person changes their diet, exercise will only help a little. If anything, exercise can make things worse as it can make a person hungrier, eating more calories to more than make-up for what they burned, plus more.
Why shouldn't it'd be available to every single person????
We're all being poisoned by modern corporate food. Go look at a picture of the general public from the 1960s to 70s and tell me how many fat people you see. I'll wait
QHBPMGAD womens diabetic shoes are professional designed for the diabetic patients. Soft and comfortable !
People with diabetes need this. People that do not have diabetes and are overweight need to diet. Losing weight is a lifestyle change.
*You Did Not Choose To Be Classified As Diabetic, But You Can Choose To Fight Back Against Diabetes* 💪
Supply problems here in Australia as well. I’m type 2 diabetic and would love to be able to access it.
I've got to the stage where I am so angry. This is a medication that is for those of us with diabetes. It is not a weight loss fad. Shame on the doctors who prescribe it for weight loss.
Weight loss is a side effect of the medication
@Ty Delgado change your diet and exercise
@Ty Delgadoso you are fine with taking away medication from people who are already diabetic because you're too lazy to look for other alternatives. Selfish is what you are
“Last time I checked you weren’t my doctor and you weren’t the one telling me that I needed to lose weight or I was gonna die” she would’ve definitely been offended if a friend or family member sat her down and said that and probably wouldn’t take them serious
I’m dying from diabetes and wasn’t able to get any of this drug cause they were out of stock
You a victim.
STOP eating crap
I would look at Chile, Canada, and Mexico
Is it true that once you start taking it, you should not discontinue, or you end up worse off?
Well if people are using for weightloss it benefits them in many way so how they look is not only important the patients are improving there health they are equally entitled to the drug as well. This doctor is making it seem the diabetes are more important but people who have obesity is just as important because of heart disease and high cholesterol. Etc….
With all the science, insulin detection tools, apps, etc. Why isn't there a weight loss pump? Tells you when to eat, not eat. Controls cravings..
For more than a decade, I battled the relentless challenges of diabetes. I navigated through a maze of treatments, each promising a glimpse of hope but leaving me disappointed. It felt like an endless, uphill battle. The continuous cycle of doctor visits
Very well said!
That’s sad that people need to do this just to be excepted
It really is amazin to see people so happy. i love that this can help people
Unfortunately in Australia, the shortage is seriously negatively affecting people with type 2 diabetes.
Laziness wins again.
Mexico $150 dlls. but, you can get thyroid cancer.
What about side effects ?
I’m taking it and I haven’t lost nothing jet. 😢
What I take away from this is that it is great that people can use this to help treat their obesity and prevent obtaining diabetes in the future. I only hope that people don't depend on these medications long term just for weight loss. Once you get to a desired weight and fat %, it will be up to you to maintain that themselves.
People are abusing it and creating a shortage for actual diabetics. Chelsea Handler uses it just to keep her weight down. She's not even fat.
once you take it you have to continue to take it its a lifelong drug you cant stop taking and get the fat loss
Lies again? Serie A Leader Lightning Thunder
This drug is for people who are diabetic not for people who are to lazy to stop stuffing their faces with food
@@swolfe9668this help them to stop stuffing their mouth. Talk about being ignorant
ALWAYS QUESTION EVERYTHING AND READ.
I read the patent on one of these and all it does is correct your PH balance. I went to store bought baking soda for 75cents and lord and behold it does the exact thing. Research it.
It’s turns off the constant hunger obese people have. Hunger is the symptom of the disease obesity. It was just easier to laugh at fat people instead of treat them To be hungry all the time is misery. But diabetics should have priority
In korea, it's been going on forever. People who aren't necessarily obese take it. Ozempic looking but saxenda is what it's called.
Btw, it could cause thyroid cancer if it runs in ur fam
just eat healthier and exercise its genuinely not that hard
My diabetes journey spanned over a decade, and it often felt like an insurmountable challenge. I scoured every resource for a solution, and my search seemed never-ending. I was sick and tired of all these doctors and medicines that claimed to work but lef
Holy smokes.
People are crazy.
It is incredibly easy to follow if you know what your doing correct. Problem is the underlying mental issues in many people. I have used food rather than drugs to comfort myself more than once. 😂
@@stormchasingirl1133 Yes, but I mean there are so many healthy snacks these days, like low sugar chocolate protein yoghurts etc… Instead of comforting yourself with cake of chocolate or whatever, have a high protein yoghurt that is low in carbs and sugar. They also taste delicious 😋 Or instead of eating McDonalds, just buy whole grain bread and lean meat and make your own healthy burger. There are so many great and tasty substitutes for bad foods.
Unless you have a rare medical issue, there is absolutely no reason to be overweight these days.
Not if you really lack the enzyme’s, because your gallbladder is calcified.
I had a kid. Diet and exercise works😳 insane how no one thinks of this... But drugs will be easier and safer? Wild times.
@@iheyshey5430 Diet and exercise is the most effective and healthy way to lose weight. I personally don’t believe that drugs are better. And even if they are, I don’t think they’re safe.
This is the reason my insurer won’t cover me for this type of drug. I’m a pre-diabetic and my insurer won’t cover this drug (though I have an active prescription) until I become a diabetic. Thanks weight loss junkies for making this a fad. Those of us who legitimately need the drug can’t get it. To get this drug without insurance is $2500 per month. I eat less than 30g of carb, no sugar, grain, fruit for more than three years. I do exercise, I do all the things I need to do. I don’t eat out, eat junk, I watch and log everything I eat. It’s people who mis-use the drug, creating this fad, that cause the people who need it to “price out” of being able to get the drugs we need. I was born blind in one eye…I need this drug, but I can’t afford it without insurance coverage.
This is absolutely ridiculous
Working in EMS I've seen diabetics unable to get this medication due to the shortage and their current medication doesn't work for them. It's disgusting when it being used just for only weight lose.
I like n need this information
Thank you
Eating out out compulsion is an emotional issue. Not having the self discipline to eat healthy is an mental issue. I know it is hard to loose weight when it is easier to eat your feelings. I get it. I gained 50lbs in 8 months after some major surgeries which left me immobile and not active put me Into a depression that was caused but eating my emotions. I have God grace helping me now reversing that by intermitted fasting and eating healthier. It's a mental disciplinary action that is difficult but being conscious that if I continued down the rd of eating badly, I would be in a state of metabolic syndrome which is highly deadly. That was my motivation. That and depression. Had no choice. Much love to you all. It is by God's grace alone that we live another day.
That's not good for the pancreas if people are only using it for weight loss. People seriously ill need it, not people with weight problems.
Problem is after a few years your body adopts, and this drug stops working then if you stop taking it you gain twice as much weight
People are always trying to take the easy way out how about learning self-control, eating healthy, and exercising.
Get with the times old man. Its called PROGRESS. Making our lives easier over time is the whole point of it...
@@luisgutierrez8047 that's just called being lazy. I have Gestational Diabetes this time around for my third pregnancy. However I learned to manage it; by eating clean and healthy, and go on long walks with my dog. I do all this even if I'm at my heaviest, in pain, and close to delivery. I would never take the easy route, its better to put in the effort and commitment
@@witchyyoyo oh? So you not gonna take epidural then? gonna have a nice natural pregnancy? Good for you!
But like...your experiences are not universal. People don't have to make their lives harder just for "character"
@@luisgutierrez8047 That had nothing to do with Semiglutide being taken off-label. Something even the company is advising against.
@@xXHireneXx it advises only for legal reasons, but they probly will start trials for weight loss as soon as they can. And try to corner the market over competitors 🤑🤑🤑
If the doctor recommends it...its literally the same thing. Both have risks associated with ith but the benefits far out weight the possible side effects. And if fact...epidural is worse in that regard. ONLY helps with pain while risking side effects.
There should a new type of prescription. “Nonessential “ prescriptions. Can only be filled when all essential prescriptions are filled.
If there's a shortage then why is it given over the counter, why cant it not be given with prescription alone?
Don’t mixed cigarettes, alcohol, coffee and too much salt and sweet.
Took Mounjaro and wasn’t able to lose more than 1.5 lbs a week. I’m amazed how others are able to have such a great outcome
Actually, 1.5 lbs a week is (a) healthy and normal weight loss 🤗
@@lilyofthevalley4435 that is water weight
1.5 lbs a week is a healthy and normal weight loss that's a deficit of five thousand calories a week.
For weight loss and to reduce the sugar level, just eat boil chickpeas for dinner and fast until breakfast. 4.5-5.0 is achievable.
I lost 120 lbs with ozempic I have kept it off for almost 2 years now. I'm a size 4. I still can hardly believe it
scam
I have type 2 diabetes and because my medication was being used off label for weight loss, I was unable to get it for almost 5 months.
Now let’s find out how many of these weight loss influencers/content creators used this to boost their results ☕️
Can type 1 diabetics use this?
I never tried this and don’t plan on too. Im diabetic type 2 i weighted over 290 lbs and in 5 months I lost 50lbs and my a1ac was 9.4 and now I have it 5.4. I’m not going to lie I felt I was alone and depression kik my ass but then I refused medication and was was told I couldn’t go back. I worked out and doctors were shocked how I turned the tables. We are in control of our life
Congrats on taking control of your health and not following the status quo 🎉
Beautifully done! Kudos! I'm finding keto has really helped both with weight loss and anxiety and depression. I just ate more carbs in the last week and that stuff came back in force. So keeping my carbs low has been the key. You are so right that we can turn the tables, that we are in control of our lives. Thanks for sharing your story!
Good for you but if many people out there can't just lose weight then maybe it's not that simple? Don't be so sanctimonious, it's nauseating.
all women.. as a man who was pre-diabetic I lost 40lbs in 4 months by simply working out.
That's great 💪
They are all lazy and want a magic pill
I work in a pharmacy as a pharmacy tech I have seen many ozempic rx's with an obesity diagnosis code come across for men. Definitely not just women taking this crap
It’s irritating that we can’t get it anymore when we need it for our Type 2..
I am worried about this whole situation.
There is a shortage. now I can’t get Ozempic for my diabetes. It’s been 2 months since I’ve had my MUCH NEEDED medication.
It's because of insulin resistance
I'm diabetic I have high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I'm obese and I've had a heart attack. My doctor has to fill paper work out to request putting me on ozempic.
I am a type two diabetic, and I take this to, and this is the reason how come, there is a shortage!!!
