Back in the 80s, my husband worked in the Oregon woods. Occasionally, my 2 daughters and i would spend a couple days with him in our small trailer. One night, after dark, there wasn't a noise anywhere in the woods.....no bugs, no birds, no wind, absolutely no noise!!!! We put the girls to bed, then we went to bed. An hour later , a tree cracked and fell next to our trailer! We both nearly hit our heads on the ceiling! Still, no forest noise! So we went back to sleep. In the morning, we looked at the tree.....perfectly healthy, green medium size tree! It should NOT have fallen! We immediately left!!!!!!!

Had something very similar happen 30 years ago. Me and my friends witnessed a branch come crashing down off a perfectly healthy tree. There was no wind, it was a sunny day and, it was unusually quiet. We didn’t hang around to see why it happened.

@ Sandra Moore You know where hwy 105 is then don't you? Go east past Sour Lake about 10 miles. You'll see an entrance to a community called Pinewood. I grew up there in the 60-70s and moved just 2 miles east going to Beaumont. Just down the Rd is the Pine Island Bayou. If you go out in those swamps you'll get to see him or her. I've seen them 3 times back in there. Oh, I'll have to email Cam about the different times I had encounters on my land as a teen and as an adult with my kids encounters. I called them Little Foot. The ones I saw, which could've been the same one with the last two. But, they weren't more than 7'. And they were males. We, me and several ppl that grew up in that area of Hardin county has seen them, been chased out of the woods on 4 wheelers or been visited by them over the years. I've moved up to NE Oklahoma now. I'm Cherokee and Creek Indian and my people are from this area. My parents grew up here and we'd always come here with the drop off a hat to see relatives. This is my home. The Cherokee Nation, on which I live on the Reservation now. (in 2020 the McQuirt ruling was passed and the tribal lands up here became Reservations.) we have a BF organization. In Cherokee the word we call BF is anidigawi (Ani-di-ga-we). Mid-America Big Foot Org is on the tribal lands up in Adair County. Many tribal members search for them up here. The Choctaw have them down in the Quachita Mountains in South East Oklahoma. There's been many sightings there over the years. Across the state line down there is Faulk, Arkansas. Everyone knows that place! I never had one be anything but curious, no throwing of anything, maybe a few freaky hollers in the still of the night. But no angry gestures of any kind was experienced.

@@sandramoore4356 with my tribes they are the protector of the woods. And some say hairy giant man of the woods. We don't hold them up like the tribes of the PNW do. Not that I know of any way.
I never felt they spoke to me telepathically. But, I did speak to them like they were just another person. I know that sounds strange lol. It was like an understanding just to speak to them normal. Not to yell or carry on. I was never afraid, like when me and my neighbor were standing out under the big light one night. It was I want to say 1985, 4 wheelers had just came out. (The year may be off a bit, but my son was still a toddler I remember.) We felt someone starring at us. We both mentioned it basically at the same time. It was weird that happened. It scared him to death. We were just talking about it on FB the other day too. He got on his 4 wheeler that was parked there by us and I jumped on too. We went for a ride up on hwy 105 for awhile. I guess it was until he felt safe enough to go back home. He was probably about 15 and I was maybe 21 at that time. A milinea ago lol. His parents were out of town and he was staying there by himself for the first time. He dropped me off at my parents house. I just came in and me and my Dad spoke about it and I did my usual and went to bed. The look on his eyes tho when we both glanced across the street and saw it squatted down watching us. To think back now, he was terrified. Little foot was just peering from behind a ragweed bush at us. He really wasn't hidden that well either. It was summer then. His Dad was the one chased out of the woods on his 4 wheeler with the 30.06 on him! He was freaking out! He didn't hunt anymore after that too. I had come back to live in Tulsa and had kids. When I divorced, my Mom talked me into moving back down there. Well, I had bought some land off 105 and set a mobile home. I'd worked 7p-7a then, and had come home at 11p bcuz the count was low. I was a respiratory therapist in Port Arthur. So it was probably about June '96 this time I saw him. I pulled in my drive. You know how dark those woods get at night. I didn't have my big light on the electric pole yet. So you can imagine the darkness. I parked my car and not turned it off. I had to use the lights on my car to see to get to the door. I had unlocked the door to the house, it had a 9 pained glass in it. And when I opened it up, I stepped up. The door opened out so when I turned to pull it closed there Little Foot was thru the window of the door. In the shine of my car lights at the end of the drive, squatted this time beside an old oak tree. I saw him. Well, it wasn't my first time so I just said hello and went inside. I will admit, this time I did get rather excited to see it there. I looked out the back sliding glass door in the dining room and it had gone. It was around 1999-2000 when my very early teenaged son and daughter where just thru the woods but behind me when they saw one at my Mom's. They were hitting golf balls with thier cousins in her backyard that basically butted up to a creek. That creek emptied into the bayou maybe a 1/4 mile down. Well, this one was leaning his arms on the top cross pipe of the hurricane fence! The kids told me at different times. that it had it's chin rested on his hands watching them. Now, I'd asked them seperated too so I could read them to see if they were just all out telling me a lie, not just picking. My son always had like a neon sign on his forehead when he lied lol. My daughter still won't look me in the eye when she's lying. Now they are 35 & 39. My son is the oldest. He won't talk about it now. My daughter will tho. My Mom has asked my son about that time in her yard, and he did break down and tell her the story. It hadn't changed in 25+yrs. Ok, so the second time I had seen him. I had just come in from working a 7a-7p shift in Nederland. We were staying with my Mom at the time. I'd gone into the garage to smoke a cigarette and talk to a friend that still lived in Pinewood. It was cool then. I had on a turtle neck my scrubs on still. I hadn't been home long, it was raining too. It was dusky but I could see the basketball goal and everything outside well. Oh i remember why! My Dad had the drive all lit up with lights. While talking on the phone I happened to look up and low and behold there he was walking down the property line. Right by the place on the fence the one stood and watched the kids. Now, this took place about 5 yrs earlier than when I had seen him. It was covered with what was the same color as the mud, my son called the 1000 year old mud that was on the bayou. We'd go down and shoot back in there. It just was looking forward, walking at a good clip. It never appeared to notice me sitting in the garage. I told my friend Jodi what I was watching walk on the side of the driveway. She was like, "no doubt". She'd seen one over there on the golf course one night. It wasn't an odd occurrence in that area. From there to Sour Lake and up 326 towards Kountze I knew ppl that had seen them. I didn't smell anything odd with any of the sightings. The two that were squatted had lightish brown long hair. And the hair was on its face too. The eyes weren't red either. When I watched the one walk by the drive, I saw it under the basketball goal. That's how I have gaged the height. But, I'd heard one scream one night. The electricity had gone out and we were outside. No moon either. That sound was terrifying. I'd seen the panther that walks the woods out there, I'd heard it too. It wasn't that sound! I can never get that yell out of my mind! I had to run inside after hearing it. Yes it scared the crap out of me and my boyfriend. I really never snapped until later that it was bf that probably made that yell.
Well, there's a few. There's more things that have happened over the years out on that bayou. It's a really freaky place to live. If you ever get a chance, go out there and camp. You won't regret it for sure. ✌🏽

Hey, Cam! I am a new subscriber to your channel. I love hearing the stories that you read. After quite a few of them, I began to wonder about something. Once a person has made contact with a Squatch, is that person somehow marked in some way so that other Squatches can tell? Could this explain why some select folks have multiple episodes of contact with them? Just a thought. Thanks for reading all the stories. You have a calm, soothing voice that makes these scary stories not quite so frightening. Keep up the good work and keep the faith, Brother.
