I didnt bother getting up to watch it, i knew the ABs were going to loose and will also loose next weekend if they cannot get the forwards up for the game. Engl, SA and Ireland use the same playbook against ABs and will win everytime.
Actually the Abs were put under immense pressure the two recent tests against the Boks in the Championship! Well played to Ireland though they definitely deserved the win...
As a Kiwi, we don’t usually see a team that can control the game against us. But Ireland did it. Our tries came from some individual brilliance and slick running. But Ireland dominated the tight exchanges and constructed their tries. There is a real rivalry developing against the Irish. I’m loving it!
@@RazorMouth, hahaha, it's not a rivalry when one team is clearly better! But the All Blacks will be back. I have to say that I am more engaged in the game than I was previously. I took wins for granted, but beating South Africa at Ellis Park felt so satisfying.

Yeah, but the ABs wasted those chances on what should be basics. Im bummed the ABs lost, but as is sport. Well done to the Irish, freakn beast of a team. Enjoy the win
Difference this time though was Ireland didnt let them get that moment, they got tries for sure but none were from pressure by the ABs, one a break out the other a slight adjustment by the Irish and it wouldnt have been a try, Ireland dominated them from start to finish, never have we seen them make so many mistakes or handling errors, thats down to how Ireland shoved it in their faces, but this should be a starting point now for better things, push hard for 6 nations but dont show our full hand we cant peak too soon now theres alot of youth in the team and hopefully they can bring alot more and hit our peak when it matters, a performance like that would beat any team on any given day its down to the boys to make that level of performance the bottom line and build on it
Once in a while.. it’s 3-2 over the last 5 games to the Irish. As a French guy, these are the two best rugby teams on the planet for me over the last 10 years. Ireland need to sort their World Cup issue out but they will and I believe they are striving to reach becoming a consistent rugby machine like New Zealand. England and France have had their major ups and downs but just miss that frantic energy the Irish have in their game.. I don’t know how to put it in words but the Kiwis have a sort of deep passion and flow to their game while the Irish have a frantic energetic spark in theirs.. when they meet it’s like two super powers with opposite powers bashing each other up in ways you don’t see in many games. Incredible to witness rugby like this. The all blacks tries were insanely good, out of nowhere precision and kept themselves in the game. Ireland kept the ball and used their relentless attack to kept the all blacks guessing and reducing their chances of quick firepower. I’m gonna watch this again tomorrow.
@@LeMerch Brilliant analysis. I came to watch this a day before Ireland tours New Zealand. I doubt it will be this intense. I watched Super Rugby this season. Trust me, the All Blacks are BACK.

What a game! Loved every second of it! The Irish back row were amazing! They were the major difference for me. You don’t usually say the all blacks were the worst team on the day, but Ireland deserved that big time. Great game! From an Englishman!
Amazing pressure and defense from Ireland. They just seemed to block every chance and momentum of the game for the almighty All Blacks. Much respect for 🇮🇪. From a Pumas fan.
As an Ireland fan I just have to say what fantastic commentary from the NZ team there. Their non-partisan excitement about a good rugby game is great to see. They sounded almost as excited by Ireland winning as they would have been if it had been the other way around. Fair play.
Best I have seen us play in a long while. Love the new style of play. Its always a pleasure to watch the ABs play and to beat them is something special.

Congratulations Ireland!, that was some magnificent game you played. We really never got going because you hardly ever gave us space. Our defense was superb and kept us in the game but against the continuous attack Ireland took it to us and it eventually took its toll. Possession, territory and points, great attacks. Best game of the year so far. Can’t speak highly enough of Irelands game and tactics today. Shows we have some work to do.

We just got completely dominated physically. Glad it was to Ireland though, always has been make second favourite team. hope to see them make finals in the next rwc!
No team can beat a team that plays with that intensity! Full respect to Ireland, great performance! Hard luck to my ABs, some pretty average refereeing in places, but in the end, some bad discipline let us down. What a game
@@sitivenitikoirewa9677 he wasnt blaming the ref. Simply stating a fact that reffing was pretty average in some places. How can Ireland be awarded a try but get it taken back by double movement, something all players in all teams do. ABs got the ball ripped illegally in front of ref but was never called. ABs were off side but only Ireland were reminded of it when on defense. ABs forward pass try would not have been called by any other ref. ABs yellow card early on was questionable, yet similar tackles were made throughout the game by both sides but were never called.
What I love about NZ commentators is their non partisan appraisal of a game. They clearly love the game and are generous in their praise when it is played at this level. Bravo.
This was probably the best 👌game I've ever watched! As a South African job well done 👏. I think this is a typical example of how rugby is suppose to be played. Ireland 🇮🇪 where unstable.
Oh dear my All Blacks got beaten by the Irish 😭😭 it’s not about the loss (all teams lose) so much, it’s about HOW Ireland won. With intensity, aggression and 80mins of pushing the ABs... and fair to say, the ABs couldn’t keep up. I hope all Irish people are proud of their rugby boys. @@ItsmeeSaoirse I 100% agree with you but if you think of it this way- the GAA is definitely our most important sports and they're inclusive to us. Then there's soccer/football for anybody who's gonna call me out. I love rugby and I've played rugby, but it's not an everyman game. Rugby is popular because we're good at it now. Yeah ireland Wanted to present a jersey for Sean weaiui like the Maori did for Anthony foley at the haka but the abs said after the game because some of their team were still emotional about it so they did it after the game.
To say that the All Blacks played poorly by their standards is rubbish and seems to be an attempt to belittle Ireland's win. Both teams gave their best on the day and Ireland came out ahead. No excuses.
Amazing from both teams. The fact that Ireland only won by 9 points despite completing owning the field shows how good the All blacks are. They are lethal on attack and have an immense defence ! Nobody were beating Ireland on the day tho.Best game of rugby I have seen in a long time
No more sugar coating it. Springboks, Ireland and England have the blueprint to beat the All Blacks. Rush defense and forward pack dominance. Foster and his assistants are clueless.
Scott Robertson should be coach for sure, he brings that clinical play style. He also plays a 3-2 type of attack, which clearly works with his crusaders so why shouldn’t it work with the All Blacks
i think rush attack is more affective, don't give all blacks time to set they defensive line!!that is the only thing our springboks are missing but we do ,do it sometimes. the all blacks team cant take a hit, they always give 2meters when taking a hit.
Two years removed from the world cup where we were dominated by an English side that played rush defense and out-muscled our forwards... Two years, and the blueprint is still the same, still haven't addressed our VERY glaring weaknesses. 2023 will be the same.
Totally agree and something I have been saying since that punishing loss to England at the RWC. You have to to dominate upfront and our fowards lack this in key games against strong sides. The England RWC loss should have been a real wake up call.
@@timmydonlon3458 what I'm saying is that it happened in 2019, and we were sent home early by England. In the two years since it appears as though we've not learned anything, or even tried to counter it.
One of? This by far is, was and will be, Ireland’s greatest performance for many years to come, I’m a little sad to say. Although alternatively it could be the new norm under Faz! - here’s hoping.

Basically Ireland have realised that to beat the AB's you have to keep attacking them constantly, thus staving them of possession. For how good the AB's attack is it's all for squat if they don't have the ball. But the funny thing is they can still beat you anyway because of how individually great they are.
When the boks lose to the ABs,the ABs supporters say they are the best. Now,when they lost to Ireland,it's their coach lol.A great team can lose with having the worst coach.Don't make excuses.
ABs win because they play smarter and more efficiently with the ball in hanf making line breaks through excellent comms, timing of passes, spatial awarness, individual athleticism, and plays etc. Unless other teams learn the same style they'll always be a threat. What's the point spending all your energy defending when you can spend buggar all energy with some good comms and timing and put more points on the ball. This game was a classic example of working harder, not smarter and it rarely pays off. Congrats Ireland! 🇮🇪 👏
I was fortunate to be at the game, and was an unbelievably physical game with two great teams going at it, Irelands physicality and presence at the breakdown won the game for them. Ireland had to work so hard for there trys a credit to new Zealands defence. The atmosphere was amazing what a game to be at!!
Credit to the commentators, very fair and honest. It was a great game played as rugby should be! AB'S will always be the benchmark, and if you can beat them you have got to be very good! Well played both teams!
It was one of those games for me that I didn't want either side to loose, I'm Irish but emigrated to NZ, and I'm a New Zealand citizen, have huge admiration for both, as the all blacks have obviously been victorious on numerous occasions against Eire it is nice to see Ireland win, I remember watching them live here in NZ in 2011 and the all-blacks won by a huge margin, so I guess both teams take the rough with the smooth, I must say the kiwi commentators and the team were very gracious in defeat... God bless both Eire & NZ. #IrishKiwi #Aoteroa #Eire
Great win Ireland what a great game and definitely deserve the win. Now the Springboks gets to hold onto the number 1 ranking for a week hopefully into 2022.
Tony Johnson’s commentary was legendary , Justin Marshall on the other hand sounded more like a spectator who was worried about Ireland dominating the game. Smh hats off to Ireland!! we’ll deserved for a bloody awesome Team
The most comprehensive performance from an Ireland team ever in my opinion. We have beaten New Zealand several times mid cycle in recent years. Now we have to do it in a world cup.
One of the best performances I’ve ever seen by a Northern Hemisphere side against the ABs. Dominant and powerful from start to finish - with ball in hand. Perhaps surpassed only by England’s semi-final defeat of the ABs in the 2019 WC. Great platform for Ireland to build on for the next WC. Could have a real chance.
I remember France playing some pretty incredible stuff against Lomu et al in the 1999 World Cup semi-final but this was right up there with it, just in a different way. Ireland just relentlessly battered the All Blacks in a way that's rarely seen.
Great to read the positive comments about Ireland from all the kiwis. Very refreshing in today’s world where there’s so much hate online - sums up what quality people you have in NZ. Hats off 👊🏼👊🏽

*Brilliant performance by Ireland, rarely do you see the All Blacks under such sustained pressure for an entire match, now we have to do it when it matters, at the World Cup, we were humiliated by NZ at the last WC, here's hoping.*
I was at the game and Ireland were much more aggresive
*WHY NOT PUT IT IN CAPS AS WELL?*
Well played to Ireland though they definitely deserved the win...
the early yellow card started that pressure, wp to Ireland
As a Kiwi, we don’t usually see a team that can control the game against us. But Ireland did it. Our tries came from some individual brilliance and slick running. But Ireland dominated the tight exchanges and constructed their tries.
There is a real rivalry developing against the Irish. I’m loving it!
Are you still loving it? 😬
@@RazorMouth, hahaha, it's not a rivalry when one team is clearly better! But the All Blacks will be back. I have to say that I am more engaged in the game than I was previously. I took wins for granted, but beating South Africa at Ellis Park felt so satisfying.

Don't be hard on yourselves, ABs - Ireland would've beaten every team in the world today with that performance. ABs are incredible that they were still in the game right until the last plays, even though they were outplayed for most of the game. I'm sure ABs will bounce back next week.
And big ups to Ireland for the performance of the season, much love from a Bok fan
Delighted with the win but God bless the next team that plays the All Blacks. 😖
Well said Alex 👏 well and truly outplayed the cohesion and timing were well off, Ireland would have beaten anyone today. Congratulations to Ireland. Both sides gave their all and left everything out there on the field, as fans of rugby 🏉 what more could we ask for. On to the next game.
@@irishpride9867 yes it was a great win for the Irish well done 👏 ✔ 👍
You are sure they will bounce back? Against France? Don't be arrogant because what if it does not happen? Do you think France will play sparring partners? The southern hemispheres teams are too arrogant. Australia beaten today and NZ beaten too. Next week SA and NZ are playing England and France. We will see but the French and the English will not give a free ride, i can tell you this!
@@gchelem I don't think anyone would take the French team lightly right now - their backline is on fire, and it's at home, and both teams want to make a huge statement before their World Cup match up obviously. This game takes me back to their 2013 game, when AB beat IRL by the deathly last minutes, a well deserved win for the brothers in green 👍
Such gracious commentators - and what a game !!!
Class today by us irish, but no matter how well we played new zealand were never far behind they have the magic to turn a game on its head in a matter of minutes, great game 💚
Yeah if you’re not switched on for a full 80 they will kill you that’s what 2013 taught the core group of this Irish team

Yeah, but the ABs wasted those chances on what should be basics. Im bummed the ABs lost, but as is sport.
Well done to the Irish, freakn beast of a team. Enjoy the win
in a matter of minutes? you mean nano-seconds
Difference this time though was Ireland didnt let them get that moment, they got tries for sure but none were from pressure by the ABs, one a break out the other a slight adjustment by the Irish and it wouldnt have been a try, Ireland dominated them from start to finish, never have we seen them make so many mistakes or handling errors, thats down to how Ireland shoved it in their faces, but this should be a starting point now for better things, push hard for 6 nations but dont show our full hand we cant peak too soon now theres alot of youth in the team and hopefully they can bring alot more and hit our peak when it matters, a performance like that would beat any team on any given day its down to the boys to make that level of performance the bottom line and build on it
from an All black supporter Ireland you were just too good today cheers for a great game!
Thanks matey great game of footy cheers from Dublin 🇮🇪 see u guys in NZ next summer for the 3 test series
Ireland have been the most consistent in giving the All Blacks headaches, scares and upsets in recent years. What a great rivalry, well done Irish 👌
Congrats Ireland! If there’s any team we don’t mind losing to once in a while it’s the Irish ❤️ ☘️

What a game! Loved every second of it! The Irish back row were amazing! They were the major difference for me. You don’t usually say the all blacks were the worst team on the day, but Ireland deserved that big time. Great game! From an Englishman!

Aye. I'm Irish myself and I love how the Kiwis just appreciate good rugby. If he was English he'd be running his mouth off.
We all appreciate good rugby, running, good tries, and a great battle up front which Ireland won. It had everything we like about rugby
Best I have seen us play in a long while. Love the new style of play. Its always a pleasure to watch the ABs play and to beat them is something special.
My goodness, what a great game! Rugby is beautiful, and this match was an example of that. Congratulations to our Irish brothers from Argentina, and also to the All Blacks, who I fear every time they face the Pumas!
Never fear the New Zealanders... Grow a pair.

Here we go again, blame the ref
@@sitivenitikoirewa9677 he wasnt blaming the ref. Simply stating a fact that reffing was pretty average in some places.
How can Ireland be awarded a try but get it taken back by double movement, something all players in all teams do.
ABs got the ball ripped illegally in front of ref but was never called.
ABs were off side but only Ireland were reminded of it when on defense.
ABs forward pass try would not have been called by any other ref.
ABs yellow card early on was questionable, yet similar tackles were made throughout the game by both sides but were never called.

I don’t how popular rugby is in Ireland, but hopefully the non-rugby Irish fans realise what their boys have done tonight. Well done Ireland ... til next time 🔥❤️💪🏽
Rugby is huge in Ireland. Always has been. Irish people are sports mad in general.
I've been watching rugby for 25 years but how many people do you think would watch an Ireland vs England match in the 6 nations over a Sam McGuire match? Especially when we were getting smashed all the time? The only reason it's relevant is because we aren't actually woeful anymore.

The repect shown from abs to their country men on ireland team was class. Hard luck to the abs. The played poor by their standards but led at half time and were still in with shout in the last quarter.
They were beaten by a better team. They could not play their game because Ireland was superior.

Nobody were beating Ireland on the day tho.Best game of rugby I have seen in a long time
Great commentary and highlights, I just subscribed, great stuff.
But what a game, both sides were feckin' amazing, so proud of Ireland 🇮🇪
Absolutely amazing game of rugby. Admire both these teams from a england fan
Yes no but : players are clueless :you can't teach physics to 5 year olds.

Well done Ireland. Best rugby I've seen in years. You played the All Blacks at their own game and you won. From South Africa
Two years removed from the world cup where we were dominated by an English side that played rush defense and out-muscled our forwards... Two years, and the blueprint is still the same, still haven't addressed our VERY glaring weaknesses. 2023 will be the same.
agreed. learnt nothing smh
Totally agree and something I have been saying since that punishing loss to England at the RWC. You have to to dominate upfront and our fowards lack this in key games against strong sides. The England RWC loss should have been a real wake up call.
Yes but isn't it better coming now than in the world cup. You learn much much more in defeat than in victory.. great game Ireland though.
So true so true
@@timmydonlon3458 what I'm saying is that it happened in 2019, and we were sent home early by England. In the two years since it appears as though we've not learned anything, or even tried to counter it.

I love how you don’t cut out clips of almost tries, include yellow card offences, proper highlights🤝
Best test match of 2021 hands down
Basically Ireland have realised that to beat the AB's you have to keep attacking them constantly, thus staving them of possession.
For how good the AB's attack is it's all for squat if they don't have the ball.
But the funny thing is they can still beat you anyway because of how individually great they are.
But they didn't
ABS need a top coach seriously and not a clown.
