You moved! In my experience, foam is fine for vocal and acoustic guitar SPLs but you really need curtains or acoustic panels with the volume levels of amps or drums. Absorbing mass is needed inversely to volume/acoustic energy.

@@AudioSorcerer If you’re cheap like me, put floor-to-ceiling MDF boards in the corners and drill different sized holes in the boards (1-3 inches) with a spay bit or hole saw. Great broad-spectrum corner trap. And paintable 😆
Congratulations man but you'd definitely need bass traps ceiling to floor in all corner to avoid bass nulls and dips. It's gonna be a day and night difference. Good luck 🤘

Definitely sounds like a plan lol. My new house was built in 1840 so I'm reluctant to do anything damaging to the walls. 👍
