Hey everyone, who here has watched the latest Indy movie? What do you think of it? I personally didn't like it much, doesn't hold a candle to the original movies from the 80s.
Foi minha primeira vez indo no cinema, e como foi em um filme Indiana Jones, eu gostei muito da experiência, mas o filme em si não é lá essas coisas...
The movie was very meh honestly. A lot of plotholes that aren't explained. Focus was too much on an egocentric female character. And they just never stopped arguing. This game was a better fifth film than whatever that was.
This brings back so many memories. I bought Emperor's Tomb for XBOX around 2004 or so and I spent so many hours with it. This was four years before Crystal Skull came out and the game acted like a nice greatest hits compilation of all the scenes from the original trilogy (I liked how the end lead into the beginning of Temple of Doom's Shanghai sequence).
It was developed by "The Collective" that a year before had made "Buffy The vampire Slayer" with a similar fighting system. The one who would be ahead of his time would be Buffy.😏
Hi, what upscaler to I need to hook my PS2 up with for this quality on LCD 4K tv? So far everything I used failed the pictures is a total mess and fuzzy. Please help!
5:54:51 There was supposed to be a sequence here where you'd have to escape Kai's Fortress. This is the full line of what Mei Ying says in Cantonese: "I should have listened to my father and married that banker. Nice house, servants. Not the most handsome man in the world, but it beats jumping off bridges." It was probably cut for pacing, as the rescue Mei Ying plot was pretty much finished after the boss fight.
My girlfriend and I fought daily in high school after she bought me this game 😂. I couldn't stop playing it, finally: a fully realized, actually fun, Indiana Jones game. Thanks for the upload!
Was anyone else thinking "grab your hat... put it back on, it's part of Indy's charm!" 😂🤣😂 Also, R.I.P. to the saga. THREE films were perfect. 💪😎✌️ Junior, Henry Sr., Markus, and Sallah rode off into the sunset, retired from Archaeology, drank, reminisced, and lived it up... and died very peacefully. ✨✨✨
I played this game on the PS2. One of my childhood favorites! But it was a pretty damn hard game though in some levels like the Kraken boss for example, but it was still worth it spending those endless hours beating the game.
I really wish the new Indiana Jones game wasn't made as a first-person experience/perspective game; they should stick to the traditional format. Even though Uncharted is already available, Indiana Jones has a unique feel that sets it apart.
i played this so much in my childhood, now i'm 21 i used to play this in 2k9, 2k8 when i was about 7 years old... so nostalgic... and the Giant croc level always give me goosebumps, til today lol
Try to play Indy Infernal Machine: huge yeti, dragon, devil and last bad character will make you shit pants and I played it few years ago when was about 36, this croc is piece a cake 🙂
I gotta admit... for a 20 year old game... this one is pretty damn good. The play field is BIG, and very-well laid out. I would love to see this game updated, or redone. The fighting is just a bit wonky, and not very realistic as it comes to being shot or knifed. But if you can suspend your disbelief... Of course, there is a new Indy game coming out, and that one is really promising. But I gotta give this one a lot of credit.
This game gives me Tomb Raider and pre-Yakuza (Like a Dragon) vibes with damage physics and hand to hand combat system where you use improvised weapons and your fists to defeat your foes in this Indiana Jones game.
I'm about 70% done with the game. It certainly has stuff going for it. They've done a good job capturing the various elements of an Indy adventure. Some cool effects for the time. Art and music are on point. Combat seems like it should be great on paper, but it's actually quite janky and messy. Platforming can be hit and miss as well. Combine that with the not-so-forgiving checkpoint system and you get some pretty frustrating moments. Still, I'd say I'm enjoying it overall and I'm happy I finally got around to playing it.
This game will always stay in my heart forever, my childhood was awesome with this game, I used to play it all day long. Even though, it is still amazing game for me, recently I played it lot & get amazed. & I think this is really an underrated game, which is really sad. I wish, the game maker would have made another Indiana Jones game for PS5.. 😔😞
I wish the last two Indiana Jones movies were more Asia based. There’s plenty of rich, Volker and archaeology plot point that could’ve driven the story
I remember playing this game when I was younger and my dad and I used to have two of our own campaigns so we could see how fast the other could beat it lol. I lost everything but I was like 5 or 6. Great times
Beating that whip run near the end the first time I played "Emperor's Tomb" - I don't know how many times it took, but when I finally did, I don't think I've ever felt a bliss like that. lol
No, actually. In harder to notice areas, like the forearms or legs, is where the most muscle development would be at. That's right, beloved icon Indiana Jones is a cardio guy.
With the success of Tomb Raider and Uncharted I'm really surprised they haven't made any solid Indiana Jones games up until now. I honestly don't trust Bethesda with the IP.
If you master the clunky game mechanics, there's actually a pretty fun game hidden underneath. I loved the sense of adventure. This was way before games like uncharted came along, and a bit more forgiving than the old tomb raider games
are you aware that you can block attacks by holding the shift-key sometimes. especially if you have this boomerang thing then shift will create a magical shield. This could deflect those spherical shots at 6:19:36. Often this reflects those shots onto another enemy. So it would not just protect yourself but even hurt one of your enemies.
I love how everyone is praising Troy's rendition and yet David Esch sounds just as good. Either Indy impressions are not that hard to do or Troy didnt do THAT good of a job.
Cast: David Esch as Indiana Jones Vivian Wu as Mei Ving Keone Young as Marshal Kai Ti Chang and Emperor Qin Shi Huang Nick Jameson as Albrecht Von Beck and Ivory Hunter (South African) Kai Wulff as Richter and Soldier 3 Matt Lindquist as Kent Jennifer L. Yen as Feng Twin 1 and Feng Twin 2 Alan Drevin as Wu Han Kevin Michael Richardson as Homonculus and Triad Ghoul Jim Ward as Soldier 2 Phil Proctor as German PA Announcer and Ivory Hunter (Russian) Arthur Eng as Triad Grunt 1, Triad Grunt 2 and Waiter Herbert Primig as Soldier 1 Kerem Hanci as Turkish Mercenary Lei Yin as Palace Guard Torsten Voges as Agent 1 and Colonel Matt Lindquist as Agent 2 and Officer Crew: George Lucas - Writer (Characters) Rick Watters - Producer Robert Mobbs - Lead Programmer Brad Santos - Lead Designer
I still remember the sign "lightning sth..." from the graphic card that wouldn't let me play this back in the day ... today after 20 years am going for it . Sweet revenge .
I don't know how you got such a smooth remastered version of this game but the one I'm playing is so glitchy and slow. The level when you shoot down the planes is impossible. The graphics are so bad that I can't even see them and the gun is moving in slow motion compared to yours. I don't know how I ever got past this when I was a kid.
Hi, what upscaler do I need to hook my PS2 up with for this quality on LCD 4K tv? So far everything I used failed the pictures is a total mess and fuzzy. Please help!
We need a new Indiana Jones game. I loved this one, the one on the N64 wasn't bad either, but the staff of kings on the Wii wasn't that good in my sight.
Because Staff of Kings used a shitty engine with all that bloom and low res textures, while this used a good 3D engine for its time which still holds up aesthetically tbh

Yeah, this game is more authentic to Indiana Jones than the 5th film
The movie was very meh honestly. A lot of plotholes that aren't explained. Focus was too much on an egocentric female character. And they just never stopped arguing. This game was a better fifth film than whatever that was.

yes man, this game is my all time favorite, i found myself beating this game at least once every year lol
We like this because of sweet childhood memories
Had to come back here after the preview of the new Indy game. This will still remain the definitive Indiana Jones gaming experience.
Still a good game, but Great Circle may have it beat
Sorry, but Indiana Jones and the Great Circle just beat it by far and that one is the definitive Indiana Jones experience.
It has been 20 years already and I am still love playing it. It was my childhood game. In my opinion, it was a true 3D platform/adventure game.
Ah yes. Yet another cherished childhood memory.
Same here mate, used to play this so much on Xbox back in the days.
Just finished this game. Oh man it actually holds up well. My childhood❤
Great video. This game is so classic! The water canteen is still one of the best approaches to life recovery in ANY game for me.
Indy's smooth animations and combat system are so ahead of it's time.

Indiana Jones. The only person who can talk under water after taking multiple shark bites like it's nothing.
The fighting mechanics and how you can pick up basically anything as a weapon was ahead of its time
It was developed by "The Collective" that a year before had made "Buffy The vampire Slayer" with a similar fighting system. The one who would be ahead of his time would be Buffy.😏
That crocodile that insta kills you at the end of first chapter had me shitting my pants as a kid 😅

Honestly, one of the funnest games I've played in my life!!

You can tell the influence this game and others like it had on the Uncharted franchise. God bless adventure!

top 5 best single player games ive ever played
Holy nostalgia... my brother and I made so many memories playing this game
Everytime Indy uses the whip to pull in enemies, I always quote Scorpion's lines "GET OVER HERE!" and "COME HERE!"
