If any title is worthy of a remake then this one is a great idea. I don't mean a remaster, I mean completely recreated from the ground up whilst leveraging current day technology. It's a classic game with an excellent collection of assets to build upon. More than likely plenty of space to build a little more Lore around too.
I remember finding this pc game at costco for 5.99 when costco was called price club. This is one of my favorite games and needs a remake.. Would be awesome. So many people have no clue that this game exist. Thanks for uploading this!

I can't go to the "Lighthouse" location because for reasons unknown to me, the gardener who opens the gate does not appear (time 3:19:26 in your game this moment) and it seems to me that I did everything as you did, as I checked. And I've been through so much already and I don't want to play again from the beginning, and the codes for the locations are useless, because all your weapons and spells and all your experiences and everything you have collected along the way are lost... I would really like some advice and help . Thank you in advance!
2007....winter..alone in a dark room and house(the only light was from screen).. with headset...i was focus only on game..i dont think i felt so scared in my whole life ..not from ghosts not from bosses..but from those fking ugly warewoolfies that jumped front of u from nowhere after theirs howl...
I used to play this interesting game on my computer for many early mornings. To be honest, I didn't find it scary at all, it was just interesting to see the landscapes and the shape of the old houses and monasteries. It was a nice game for its time.
One thing about this game that drove me crazy was the shield spell. That sound effect when the shield is broken or times out. I hated that crap. Like someone that it was a good idea to make that shatter jumpscare sound effect for it and there's no visible timer. Also adding to the fear factor of when it's going to blow up and scare the hell out of me.
I love this game. It is my favorite FPS of all time. I’ve played it I don’t know how many times, and I have nothing but sweet memories from back in the day. This game oozes imagination and gave hours of fun through easy gaming. Plenty of games these days wish they were this good. I have no idea what was the extent of Barker’s involvement in its development; I remember reading an interview back in the day with the developers which made him look like a simple consultant and voice actor, but boy, did the next game sporting his endorsement (Jericho) suck really bad!

I really like the quality of this video but the gameplay made me a little bit frustrated because I have played this game myself long ago and I remember that when you hear the signal "Look", you are supposed to use the Shaman's Stone to look into past events. That way, the player understands the gruesomeness of the Covenant curse. I feel like a lot of opportunities were missed in the gameplay but thanks for playing the game : )
I had so much fun playing this as a kid, also you can use the green stone to show things not visible to the human eye. Like the weird warped painting @ 17:13

@@sina5an there is a cheat to that game. in the courtyard when you start…jump into the middle bit and jump up and down about 5 times. unlocks all the cases in the protected area.
Stop the Remakes. Enjoy the classics for what they are. The graphics are beautifully stylized in a realistic art style. what more could one want? A heartless fully photo real corporate shallow generically voice acted mod of what it once was?
At the begining before you enter the castle,when that woman whispers "see" if you use that stone there is a man hanged on a pillar,idk how many times i finished this game when i was younger many years ago,truly a horror game,the game sounds gives chills if you play with the lights out in silence,those howlers...brrr,too bad they dont make undying 2 with today technology
When I was 10 years old, my friend and I played this game at night on a laptop in the village. Imagine, you are 10 years old, in an old country house close to the forest and you are playing this game at night. It was scary as hell.

A great and terrifying game! In retrospect it's interesting to me, though, how much LESS realistic its graphics feel compared to the "2D" titles that its generation superseded--BLOOD, for example. Guess I'd rather see a well-rendered 2D figure than a bunch of blocky polygons, no matter what depth they appear to possess.

Game of the year 2001 award goes to Undying easily. It has amazing design, creepy dark atmosphere, that orange, that crimson sky! Was so ominous.

FINALLY! a walkthrough with subtitles! the characters have such thick accents, that sometimes I just can't understand what they are saying...

A lot of interesting things can be seen in some of the rooms in the mansion if scry is used, and whenever one hears whispers.
