Being a revolver snob, I currently own several older and newer Smith J/K frames as well as Rugers and Colts. Also, I've owned nearly all types/manufacturers grips for different revovlers over the years as well. I can say hands down, the Diamond Pro grip will provide you the most comfort against recoil and make the most small/lightweight revolvers much more comfortable to shoot, train, and get proficient with at the range. Don't get me wrong, aesthetically speaking, there's nothing like a set of classic wood framed factory grips with a Tyler T grip (love 'em for some safe queens, and for those revolvers that rarely get taken to the range & that configuration still looks the best!!). However, when you're relying on a weapon for daily carry, looking the best isn't what you need; you're looking for comfort, ease of use, and something that will aid in better shot placement during regular training sessions. In addition, you don't want grips that make the revolver feel like a sledgehammer hitting your hands while practicing regularly at the range. I currently have these Diamond Pro Grips on an older J-Frame .38SPL and on a Ruger SP101 .357 (these grips have easily mitigated the recoil in both platforms and make training sessions at the range much more enjoyable and tolerable for both small-framed revolvers). Do yourself a favor, save the nice wood grips to show your friends and buy these to shoot/train with on regular basis (they go on every revolver I use for CC/daily carry and my hands thank for me it every time I head to the range)!!

I installed this on my EDC S&W 637. I like them. One thing that I think should be addressed is the fact that the tackiness makes it easier to conceal carry without a holster in an A/IWB configuration. Also, they don't add too much to the length of the grip than the original grips and it still makes the handgun easy to pocket carry

That style revolver grip will tame recoil very well. I had one of those on an LCR in 9mm. It was big for the gun but I could shoot the gun very fast. Recoil was absorbed by the grip and the LCR handled great with that grip. Not pretty but very functional.

This is your 2nd grip video I've watched that could've save me the hassle of returning them. This grip and that Guardian grip should be delivered tomorrow and I'm a day late in watching your videos, LOL Thanks for the reviews, at least I won't need to even open the packaging.

That will help you control the gun more. Try getting old school wood grips and get a Tyler t grip. It goes on there with the wood grips. You'll like it. Good video.

I would return that "ball sack". I would not want that ball sack on my gun or in my holster. Thanks for the video.

A key question about revolver grips is trigger reach. When you grip the gun where does your finger sit on the trigger face? The Pachmayr grip is large the Hogue is much smaller in circumference.

I didn’t like it either. I prefer the smaller rubber grip for concealment. Wood is pretty but big too. I did find some small wood grips that are pretty and have the same Build as the small rubber grips . I may buy them.

It looks like a ballsack. Did the Taurus grip fit? I'm going to try and put my Taurus 856 grips on my 360 PD. Taurus is pretty much a S&S clone anyway.
