When we moved out of Austin proper 8 years ago, we looked at Teravista and liked round rock in general, but I hadn’t retired yet and was unwilling to drive I-35 everyday. We ended up in pflugerville and I used the toll road to get to Austin quickly and easily. Round rock is a little more developed in some ways but pflugerville was a good move for us. We end up going to round rock for health care.
Round Rock was the town to grow up in during the early 90s, it has now grown so much that it's almost unrecognizable in most areas.
Absolutely, it’s grown A TON even in the last 8 years
I Literally just got back from Marble falls.
It's beautiful Hilly and windy rodes ✌
Round Rock Rocks !!!
Hahaha 🪨 🎸
I live there in 2021 off of Gattis School Road and I loved it I miss it I can't wait to go back
I hope you can get back soon!
@@AustinTX that is the plan. I'd like to buy my forever home sometime next year. I'm torn between Las Vegas and Austin
I would really like to see a video about what it will be like renting in and around Austin. I like the Round Rock area and looking to move next year.
What part of Austin are you thinking? I don’t know the rental market, but happy to make a video about different areas that we haven’t covered.
Austin is big so narrowing in on neighborhoods would help a ton in producing an effective video.
@@AustinTX Mostly in Round Rock and surrounding areas. My wife and I are going there in Sept. to look at some areas where we think we might move. So I really just want to have an understanding of where to look.
@@lukesterger814, we have a ton of videos on a bunch of neighborhoods in and near to Round Rock.
Look up the videos we’ve made about Teravista, Forest Creek, what 500k buys in RR (lots of neighborhood info),videos about Pflugerville, Leander.
The list goes on
I live in Forest Creek and eeeeh, it’s alright. House prices here are crazy though.
I feel like that area has always been pricey for Rock Rock.
What makes it ‘eeeh’ for you? 🙃
Low-rated schools can be a pro if you are single and not planning to have kids. I rent in Round Rock and looked up my schools and the nearby elementary is 2/10! I'd buy in my neighborhood but I suffer from sticker shock when I look at what houses are going for.
I’m with you!!
None of my investment homes are zoned for highly rated schools.
I think my current house is rated for an elementary school that is also 2/10 😂
Which neighborhood are you in, just curious 🏡
@@AustinTX Turtle Creek
Oh nice!
I like Turtle Creek a lot, super colorful homes. 🏡
@@AustinTX my dog in my avatar barks at everything she sees through the white fences 🫠 so the next place I rent will have a fence she can't see through. There's a ton of homes for sale/rent here so it feels a bit empty
Ooooh, dint think of that. Cat person here
👋🏻👩🏻🦰
Yes, you’re right. Big rental community for sure. I had a lot of investor clients who wanted to buy homes in turtle creek between 2016 and 2018.
Mi plato favorito para comer es el cuy. Cual es tu plato favorito. ¿También te gusta el conejillo de indias?
Nop, no como conejo.
Disfruta y buen provecho
@@AustinTX 😃 ¡qué tengas un lindo día! 😃

So you gotta drop $700k for a beautiful home??
Depends where, but often times yes
When the cost of a home is 700k to live in a tiny podunk town in "cheap Texas" we have a serious problem in this country. Absolute joke
