I live in Cedar Park, one block from Round Rock and one block from Austin (Brushy Creek). We enjoy all the great places in Cedar Park AND all the great places in Round Rock. Even Georgetown is pretty accessible and has great places/things to do. Good to see you promoting the area, we love it!
I used to live on Lake Travis in Volente and I can remember one Christmas eve when they gave us our checks at noon so we could get home before it snowed more. I was on Research Blvd. and it took over an hour and a half to get just south of Cedar Park to where I could get off on back roads to home. Now I know there is an upper deck for through traffic so maybe it isn;t that bad anymore.I left Texas in 1997.
I have many clients that are utilizing your same strategy of waiting until the beginning of 2023. I will say there is definitely more flexibility in the market for home buyers right now when it comes to prices and incentives being offered.

Hello Elisabeth, traffic can be unpredictable. The commute to the Domain (via Cedar Park) can be comfortable, but it depends on the time you need to get to work and leave. If possible, I recommend testing the commute during your usual working hours a few times to get a better idea of the commute duration and if it would be manageable for you every day.

Here in LA suburbs, driving 15 minutes is considered okay :) How long is it weekdays office hours do you think commute to the city? Could you please cover the arboretum as well? Thanks a lot!!! GBU

I would like to see a video comparison of Round Rock and San Marcos. The outlet mall in San Marcos is still much bigger than the one in Round Rock.

What’s the property tax rate in those 2 cities?
It really depends on what subdivision you live in. In Round Rock the range can be 2.0% - 2.9% and Cedar Park it can range from 1.99% to 2.6%.
