Back in the 1980s when we’re we’re kids, Harry Man Road was AMAZING! It was so dark from the overgrowth and no traffic! Ahhhh so many great memories on that road!
Awesome video! I was born and raised out here in RR. If you're looking for a great local spot for a sandwich now that The Blind Squirrel is no longer there, then I'd suggest checking Hoody's Subs right across the street from RRHS.
Fantastic video. My daughter lives in Georgetown and we've gone to RR many times. We've planned to go to Dell Diamond to see a game several times when visiting her & family but something has always come up. We'll make it a point to get to Dell Diamond next Spring (2024).
LOL I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT THE DELL DIAMOND GOT TO SEE THAT PLACE IN 2001 WHEN I FIRST MOVED TO AUSTIN MY SISTER AND BROTHER IN-LAW AND KIDS TOOK ME THERE IT WAS AAAAWESOME😁🤙🏽

17:22. You should have seen Hairy Man Rd in 1997, when the trees made a canopy over the road. Scary place at night back then.
Yep…it was a dangerous drive, especially at night. Add a little fog and “the Hairy Man” came out. 😂
Just moved to round rock and I’m so proud to call it my home. ❤️ that bee place is right down the street from me I’ve been wanting to check it out.
Round rock donuts are the BEST 🍩❤️😊

The Ryan Family are the pride of Alvin,Texas
Loved this one. Can’t wait to check the honey place out. Thanks Chet and crew.
Nothing like a 20 minute road trip.
To the lady that came in from Leander, there's a Round Rock Doughnuts on 1431 between Bell and Parmer! We also have a great School District RRISD
Round Rock is one of my favorite places in Texas. Wish I could make it there more often.

Good ole Mr Hogg! SPHS! Shout out to all the Berkman Bees out there.
Blind Squirrel sandwiches shut down way back in 2016.
I was looking forward to that sandwich at the blind squirrel. What the duck?!?!
Do they mail the donuts?
A well rounded daytrip!
I miss Round Rock,
Way to work the crowd Chet!
EVERYTHING is bigger in Texas
How old is this? The Blind Squirrel has been gone for five years.
Says 2015 at the end.
The Blind Squirrel is open again
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Day tripper is just an excuse for chat to eat and eat. How do you not weigh 300 lbs?😊😅
He works out at the Georgetown Rec. Center. My daughter is/was a director there and sees him work out.
@timd1833 good. I hope you know I was just joking. I enjoy his personality and his show😇😊
@@clydekimsey7503 No problem! I've commented the same before (300 lbs). 😉
