    Thanks so much Mike, you seem to be the only drum teacher on RUclips who doesn't need 3 minutes to talk about what the lesson before showing us how it's played!

    She used ATC's ( A Touch of Class ) Around the World. Cool. I knew what the song was right away. I dig the songs so this will be easier to integrate the daily routine. Take it apart bar by bar and go from there. Thanks mike

    What technique do you use to play those fast fills? Is it moeller technique, or just using your wrists?

    • @MikeBarnesDrums
      @MikeBarnesDrums  3 года назад

      Mostly wrists, utilizing the rebound of the stick off the drum. I'll often use a Moeller-style whip on the beat to give it some forward momentum and feel, plus fingers helping out at the back of the grip too to as it get faster. Cheers!

      Just take you time man - age-old advice: Slow it down and let your hands and feet play the right combinations a few times at a very slow speed (say them out loud before you play if if you need). Build it up! Cheers Oli :)
