I am thankful for the great strength, strong testimonies, and courage of our founding Priesthood. We will see greater persecutions in the coming years than our dear brethren did in the 1800s.

Yes you are so right. Heber C. Kimball prophesied "a test, a Test, a TEST" is coming. And only those who knew for themselves Jesus is the Christ could stand it. We cannot live on borrowed light.

I'm sorry, but how could Heber or Brigham have the Spirit with them when they so throughly practices abomination of polygamy that the Book of Mormon prophesies is iniquity and whoredoms. I don't know for sure how keys passed, but Alma was able to carry them on and receive the Holy Spirit to baptize after leaving wicked king Noah. @@smallhelmonabigship3524

Thank you. He lost his father when he was five, and his mother when he was about 15. About the time he went on his first mission. He truly was a valiant man who had no time for the haters.

One day, the full truth about Joseph F. will be revealed. For now, it is sufficient to know that he was a true man of God.

Cluff ? A full circle. In 1961 we were baptized by an Elder Cluff in Hawaii. Later it turns out while doing genealogy were are related to 55 pioneers that settled the Salt Lake valley.

Cluff is a prominent name in the Safford/ Gila Valley area!

@@roderichroby6236 I got a hold of the Cluff family association to see if I could find him, but the answer was "We have several dozen, which one ?". It would have been in 1961, when we lived in Wahiwa, Oahu, Hawaii. I figure he would probably be in his early 80s by now.
