Great video btw, could i ask where the jacking location is? Is it basically pinch weld? Do you use a rubber puck when lifting?

Good video! One question....did you make the change of the pads with the ignition on?

I don’t think so, however the rears were a nightmare as i didn’t realise I had to put the brakes into service mode and ending up wrecking a caliper!

@@tubedarren and what’s happened? Did u replace the caliper ?
I did put in service and in mistake pressed to close and it fell out 😅 night mare

@@iulianghetu853 the piston spat itself out, attempted to refit but wrecked the seal in the process 😂 Couldnt get a refurb done quick enough, a replacement VRs caliper was up to 3 months wait. So I ordered a golf 8 / caddy rear caliper which is exactly the same except it’s silver, not red 😅

@@stevepalmer-s1s hi Steve, I actually attempted to replace the pads myself, didn’t realised I had to use the obd11 to put them into service mode. I ended up pushing the electric handbrake and the piston spat itself out 😅 Škoda dealt with the rest lol

@tubedarren yer I've been trying for the best part of a week now and got nowhere. I've got the pro plan and have managed to get the sfd off but no luck with brakes. It's either not communicating or says there is a problem with sfd

Hi man, can you send the part number of this brake pads? I have my23 rs tdi, and it seems there's no other way to buy brake pads - only directly in Skoda Dealer. I have 312mm discs in front.

Hi mate i have a question? Ive purchased the same car as yourself but im finding the front suspension to be very hard ??? Even with the adaptive suspension its very hard.. also set in comfort.. when the car hits a little bump its almost banging ?? Does yours do anything similar???
