Consulting Jevries, Redcat has developed a chassis that offers an insane amount of entertainment. I found myself immediately diving straight into the action, plugging in a battery to see what moves I was able to pull off using the 6 channel radio that comes in the box. With the servos mimicking the pumps and the switches on the radio used to control everything you can make the SixtyFour bounce, hop, dance, three wheel and jump, the result of your efforts depending on timing, sense of rhythm and style. This is a new chapter for RC, and for the RC customization scene, promising a lot of fun for the years ahead.

This video made it seem so much more impressive. there is a lot of time and effort in these cars. it was great to see the rundown of how all the controls work. never been a box guy (like yourself) but i gotta admit, thats a pretty damn nice boxing theyve done for it.

Honestly when this came out I thought it was going to be a flop, it thought it would be another piece of junk but honestly Redcat Killed it on the scale detail and it does what was made to do, I am genuinely surprised by this thing, it’s got incredible scale detail, more than most vehicles and it looks like it works well.
It is spot on in every aspect, although it is extremely detailed with chrome parts, it’s not overly heavy. It honestly looks like a static model at first glance, and the chassis is tidied up fairly well considering the amount of electronics installed. Very happy I have it!

That front suspension servo assembly is really unique. I’m just getting back into the hobby and getting some of the old cars running and just bought 2 new buggies. Ordered the wltoys 144001 and a V5 Typhon 6s. Also picked up RPM bumper/skid plate, hot racing motor fan, Hoons tires, spectrum DX5c smart remote, spektrum 200w smart charger, and 5000mAh 6s smart battery.

Definitely a very different car, I am glad Redcat tried something different and glad they sold out of them quickly. Because that means there is a market for them. A little spendy, but considering they had to get a custom six channel radio built I can see the cost justification.
Indeed, I was a bit hesitant about the price initially, but it is so fresh and very well finished that I can see how it’s justified. There’s a ton of R&D involved, a lot of purpose developed injection molding and a large amount of electronics and setup for it to function correctly. I definitely applaud what they did here. 😁👍🏼

I'm a huge Redcat fan. Redcat is going to sell a million of them lowriders, we're going to see them in music videos and all over the social media. Very smart move for Redcat, they are going change the RC World. Even people who are not into the lowrider culture is going to want one of these. I herd a comment saying way too over priced, hell no, the engineering costs that went into the RC is ludacris. Traxxas makes overpriced RC's, and so does Armma, your just buying the name

It’s cool but waaay over-priced. And I spent $12k each on several RCs (ScaleArt).
I think it’s worth whatever someone wants to spend, much like you did with the ScaleArt RC’s. For most that cost would also be hard to justify as its 20 of these lowriders, but does that mean they are overpriced or just exclusive? Have a great 2021 and thank you for watching! 😊👍🏼
I'll pass on that one! Never been a low rider fan, plus that thing is way overpriced for my taste, it looks more like 70-80 dollars toy to me. Sorry that's my opinion!
Definitely more than I can afford, but I definitely appreciate the engineering in it. The result of all that time isn't cheap.
I love lowriders and the possibilities of customizing they offer. I definitely understand this isn’t an RC for everyone as it has limited use and a steep price. For the purpose of getting new users into RC however, it is amazing.

Over priced and low quality. I have seen much more for less in the RC world. And this car is pretty simple in comparison to the price and available tech. JMO. I love 64 Chevy's but not this one.
The quality is nice, and it’s very well thought out. I don’t think this is an RC for everyone, but it is a very nice, complete and exclusive feeling offering from Redcat. Happy 2021!
