Today I'm painting up a Proline trail truck body, for the event Beat The Creek. Beat The Creek is a fantastic, family-friendly event held in Maysville, Kentucky. And this year, I will be attending! The body I'm painting will be part of me sponsoring the event in my own way, and I'm pulling all stops to ensure the end result is memorable.
In this video I will show you how easy it can be to achieve cool effects for your background of your paint scheme. Since The Creek is is notorious (and wet) I wanted to paint a water effect using lace and a selection of different Tamiya rattle cans. I highly encourage you to do some experimenting and see what cool stuff you can come up with using household items and simple materials. I bet you will be surprised what is possible!
I hope to see you in Kentucky!

Killer job dude!
STILL NEED TO PUT THE GO GO DANCER BACK ON YOUR INTRO BRO 🤙🤙
Awesome to see the process. Looking forward to seeing it in person. Have a great week and we will see you on the trails at BTC.
Fantastic as usual. make sure you do a travel log video of beat the creek. I wish I could be there in Kentucky to see all you crazies. Alas, I’d love to see your interpretation of that part of the country and thousands of RC enthusiasts in the middle of nowhere with dozens of Miles of trails. 😂
Love the mixture of colors!
Thank you!
you make it look so easy. I always enjoy watching your content.

You make it so simple Chris, your ideas for projects really are spectacular. Not many people would come up with using a doily for a water effect. Your creativity is on another level my friend.
I watch every video you create. The creativity in your painting is exceptional.

Glad you didn't jump on the dish soap bandwagon lol. Looks awesome 👊😎
Haha! I did that with Ketchup and Mustard a decade ago!
Great video, funny I just uploaded a video that I was using a different product for masking
Super cool. Curious if this could be done (obviously, in reverse) on a hard-body.
Top notch video! Question for you… I’m a big fan of PS-16 and wondering if there’s a TS color for paint matching plastic items? Would like to color match side mirrors, bumpers ya know stuff like that. Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks !
@2:27 Yeah, thanks for that Instagram… 😅
