We bought this one (same color) and pretty much very satisfied. Power delivery is excellent, the steering is fine. Its a little outdated and has less tech but its the reason we bought this over the Raptor.
No drama coz nobody envy you for having a boring car. Lots of drama when you drive a better looking raptor. More than 5yrs of ownership of ford after sales and parts not a problem in mindanao. Only slight problem are ford haters that envy you for a having a hi tech and better looking car.

What it has over the Ranger raptor is reliability plain and simple. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if you want to go into the outdoors take a ford but if you want to get back, take a Toyota. It really is that simple.
The RaptorV6 is way beyond this ute but I’d choose the Hilux anyday. I used to owned the RaptorV6 once and I’ll tell you its not the best dailydriver at all.
Since tumirik ang ford wildtrak ko sa NLEX, I said to myself that I will never buy FORD again. It cost me 85,000 for the transmission issue. So I go for TOYOTA.
I'm a Toyota fan but let's be honest this still can't compete with the ranger raptor probably the ranger wildtrak and that's a big "probably". Still big kudos to Toyota for giving filipinos more option in this segment. Nice review though👍
Rubbish the Raptor can only tow 2500 tonne the Hilux 3500 tonne in Australia we get a lot better version worth rock sliders and all terrain Bridgestone off road like tires and 12 volt point in the back and better GR sport tub liner
Ganyan dapat ang mindset hindi pareha ng iba bash nga bash. There is no way nga compete ito sa raptor since the ranger raptor is in its own league. Toyota at Ford User here both happy with the units
I owned a 2019 ranger raptor with 108k kilometers on it. Casa maintained but nagka problema sa egr at injector pero naayos naman. pero naibenta ko na kase yung fox suspension nya medyo kinakabahan ako kase need pala yun ng maintenance din and i can really feel na due na maintenance nya and yung 10 speed transmission minsan diko maintindihan bugbog kase unit na yun halos araw2 sa bukid mabilis pa magpatakbo ng driver. I prefer raptor pang service pero kung workhorse talaga hilux ako. Wala akong hilux pero nakita ko kase unit ng kaibigan kong contractor umabot ng 170k km hilux nya pero hindi nagka problema tamang maintenance lang.
You need to be a hardcore Toyota guy or gal to think this is anywhere where a match for the raptor. Most agree that Ford has the best ride to all midsize trucks. Good unbiased review. Thank you
Much like the Pro4X, this is just a cosmetic upgrade over the closest variant. The Raptor, while not getting the V6, is a massive step up from the Wildtrak. But, watch as Toyota fanboys drool over this one.
Sadly, i was one of those 😂 not this one, but it's predecessor. Bought one just by its name, not seeing what it looked like. It's still great, dont get me wrong, but after testing the dmax of a friend, well, safe to say, i made the wrong choice 😂

The PRO4X at least has fully auto front seats with lumbar support. Most people who buy pickup trucks don't use it to haul anything, anyway, so might as well go for the more comfortable choice.

maybe axcr is a bit too extreme for the raptor? joking aside. it goes to show that "the lastest tech and features" is not always an instant win. take note that the competitors are alot newer like the all new triton. 2033 km driven in hard conditions yet "the aging boring toyota" manage to take top 1 and i'm still thinking why it won.

This Hilux was never meant to be a Ranger Raptor competitor. The usb ports are under a rubber flap on the row with the 12V outlets. You should do a bit more prep or a proper walk through of a vehicle before reviewing, this was not great...
raptor is one of the best in looks but hilux is the best in reliability worlwide ,and thats what every mechanic's statements😢, so if you're in budget then better choose hilux for practicality

Might want to check those numerous issues on the Raptor, here in Australia they are constantly in for warranty issues. Plus GR 80K the Raptor 110K ++++

This is nowhere near a Ranger raptor 😂 the base model XL ranger would out perform this. Toyota's hilux interior is stuck in the 90s ... looks terribly outdated.
I'd take this Toyota than the Raptor cos the Ford has proven over and over again to be very unreliable and it's scary how it manages to constantly do that.
So basically it's another shitbox hilux just with a GR badge like it means something. For 81k and the top line for the hilux, one would expect more especially since the Ford Ranger is ripping the hilux in sales. The interior design is cheap and the hilux has NO power. Powerful engine but comfort and tech is still ford. NGR really redeemed itself. We own a NGR for a year now.
