Pour Tonic Water: Pour 200 ml of tonic water over the ice in the glass. Let it settle for a moment to minimize bubbles before extracting the espresso. 2⃣ Prepare the Espresso Grind: Grind 16 grams of coffee to fill a double basket. You can eyeball it, time it, or weigh it. Distribute: Level the grounds in the portafilter basket with a few horizontal taps. Tamp: Tamp twice with medium pressure, ensuring it's even.
