  • Quick overview of Traxxas E-Revo 2.0 and Traxxas Rustler 4x4 VXL . We got some new parts our friend at the local hobby shop recommend , upgraded the battery connections , new metal drive shafts and components . Spent all day upgrading a brand new car that had never been driven stock . I learned a lot putting the drive shafts together and helping Matt get these things dialed in before we went out and thrashed them in the yard . We have plans to take them to our local skate park and let them rip today . I broke a steering component and my front bumper the first night of driving hit a pole pretty good. These things are extremely fast and fun to drive. The Rustler is out of control ! The E-Revo being much larger and heavier was planted on the ground a little better , but still does backflips ok command LoL . Such a great Christmas gift , can't thank Matt enough. We are feeling like kids in a candy shop to say the least ! So much fun and great new technology. We can't wait to get some more time behind the wheels of these things ! Stay tuned for more footage of us breaking these things in . The hobby shop has replacement parts for the steering components I broke already, and Matt ordered us some awesome skid plates and larger bumpers and all kinds of shiny heavy duty anodized parts ! I feel like I need bumpers and pads everywhere just to ensure durability because I am new to the game ! We bashed them pretty good the first night of driving and the dogs absolutely loved chasing them around the yard ! I am thrilled to say the least ! Thank you for watching, let us know if there is anything you would like to know or any parts you would like to see us install. Matt knows everything about these cars so if you have any questions leave us a comment , and if you are compelled hit the like button ! We are just out here having fun and want to show the world that it's not hard to get out there and try something new ! I am a new driver so if you would like to see what not to do , watch me ! We may be unorthodox , but we like to party in our own way ! Come join the fun ! If you are local , stop on by we meet up with groups of people with similar interests and are open to making new friends ! Thanks again guys ! Looking forward to 2020 !

Get yourself some Proline MX38 Badlands for the Revo 2 or better yet belted Trencher HPs. I just ordered the belted Trencher HPs for my modified Revo 2 and I'm switching my MX38 Badlands to my stock Revo 2. I also recommend getting Dusty Motors, motor cover for the Revo 2. Also, you should check your front, center, and rear diff fluids and grease in that Revo 2. The Revo 2 is one badass RC, but Traxxas doesn't do a good job at greasing the diffs or filling the diffs. I did a ton of modifications to my Revo 2 so many that I had enough parts to build a stock Revo 2 afterward...lol love this RC the most out of all I have driven. Savox servos are good I have a 500 oz torque single servo in my modified Revo 2, but PowerHD also makes some pretty solid servos I use two PowerHD servos in my stock Revo 2 which they produce almost 700 oz torque. You'll need stronger servos if you use bigger tires like MX38 Badlands or Trenchers because the stock servos from Traxxas 2075's won't last long with running bigger tires.

Yes, but the trenches are too wide and too heavy. I would recommend the badlands belted

In a dusty motors cover does not allow pool air to flow through your electronics, it just traps heat
