His family during ww2 was put into an United states internment camp after Pearl Harbor, because they were Japanese. In 2016 Linkin Park did a tour where they also visited the Netherlands. I really wanted to go but found none of my friends willing to go. So i opted to postpone me visiting one of their concerts as I thought they would be back at some point. One year later Chester died and I will never be able to see my favourite band ever in their full glory ever 💔

One More Light is such an obscure song in my experience, I see nobody talking about it when Linkin Park is brought up. I understand it isn’t their greatest by any means, but it is still greatly underrated for the quality it does have.
It took me years of convincing my dad to take me to see linkin park, I'd always been a huge fan as I was raised on their music. Eventually my dad agreed that when they were next playing he'd get tickets and take me to see them. Literally a month later and we heard the news about Chester. Wish I'd manage to see their work in-person, they will forever remain one of my top bands
Almost exact same thing happened to me. LP has been my favorite band since I first heard runaway. I never had the opportunity to go see them until I found out they were playing in Tampa and I finally had money! Literally the DAY we were going to purchase the tickets was that horrendous day. Never had a chance to see them. I'm super pumped to hear they're finally making a comeback
I had spent almost $1k on tickets to the Blinkin Park show in Hershey PA which included dinner with the entire band before the show and back stage before/after the show. I'd had tickets to see them on the Hunting Party tour as well but Chester shattered his ankle playing basketball before the show in Times Square so I didn't get to see them for that one. I was so hype, my favorite band since I can remember. Number one on spotify every year. The show was scheduled 10 days after his tragic death. I've still not recovered. Never got to see them live.

"From the inside" might be the "best" song made by LP. Anyway, it's hard to choose because there's no such thing as "best". It always hits differently for each person.

Never really liked carousel all that much, personally, and healing foot is a new one for me? Is that post-Chester being lead singer? Almost exact same thing happened to me. LP has been my favorite band since I first heard runaway. I never had the opportunity to go see them until I found out they were playing in Tampa and I finally had money! Literally the DAY we were going to purchase the tickets was that horrendous day. Never had a chance to see them. I'm super pumped to hear they're finally making a comeback
I had spent almost $1k on tickets to the Blinkin Park show in Hershey PA which included dinner with the entire band before the show and back stage before/after the show. I'd had tickets to see them on the Hunting Party tour as well but Chester shattered his ankle playing basketball before the show in Times Square so I didn't get to see them for that one. I was so hype, my favorite band since I can remember. Number one on spotify every year. The show was scheduled 10 days after his tragic death. I've still not recovered. Never got to see them live.
