Ah you're from Malta? My parents were born there and moved to Australia 28 or so years ago. My mum had just gotten back from Malta when I was testing the camera, and she brought me a six pack of Cisk. Best gift ever :)
Good question! I don't have the camera anymore otherwise I would jump on it for you as a test. For mosh pits though you should consider a gopro or something, small and tough as hell.
Hi Ryan, I think (and I cant test to be certain) that this limitation only applies when filming in 1080p. If you change the video settings to 720p however you should have limitless recording (depending on the size of the card). Let me know how you go though as I dont have the camera to test it myself. Thanks :)
Thanks, nice and succinct. BTW, do you know if a guy can use a wifi mic and mic externally? and if so, can you suggest such a mic? Love this camera for rolling video while hiking.📹
I dunno much about the fuji camera but using, the nikon aw110 was totally awesome for me. the nikon aw110 is waterproof for up to 18 incompasrison to the fujiflim one with is 15 as well as for being more shockproof (59ft) than the fujifilm (50ft) however the shutter for the nikon camera is pretty slow so in dark places and will give you blurry pictures because of the lack of lighting, you have to use the flash, which might over expose the picture and the way i correct this is to use auto mode and focus one the picture really well before capturing. Moreover the wifi setting for me was fantastic and the video quality is insane! :)
Hi Geoff, I just bought this cam, but i could not find how to use the 3d shooting and panorama shoot, as i was scrolling through fucntions, but cant find it, can you help me. Thanks
Bought it, used it for 4 days (underwater also, within the limits) and screen went black... It only works when recording video... Taking back to the dealer soon! Other than this, great little camera and great review!
That is really weird. Are you sure it is the same model also? I dont have the camera with me anymore but the functions should be there. If you still cant find it then maybe return it to the store?
hey would you know if this was crushproof like the other tough cams? i just wanted to know if it would survive a stomping if i dropped it in a moshpit lol.
I just purchased this camera and was quiet upset to find out that the maximum video recording time is 29 minutes because i bought a 32gb SD card! is there any way to remove this restriction or increase video recording time?
I took this one to my cruse we stop at Barbados beach, camera last about 10 minutes at the beach first lcd darkened out and in another 5 minutes camera died. It was closed anyway good thing I was able to rerun it to B&H
Horses for courses really. I use my DSLR if I know I am going to be taking a tonne of photos, eg a holiday. But I always keep a compact camera around for quick snaps when I dont want a DSLR hanging around my neck.
Thanks for endorsing the brand. the picture quality is worse than my Moto X so those of you who think you can go for this instead of buying a regular point & shoot or a DSLR be careful your will be disappointed. The Menu is cluttered and I used to use a Canon A series point and shoot in 2006 and believe me the menu layout in that was way better than this. Regarding the durability, it is made out of plastic and gets scratched very easily and it works.
You must be selling for nikon. I have one of these and lcd died after 14 months. What a piece of junk...a bad buying decision on my part. I would not recommend this camera.
I bought one in JAN2014. I take it diving all the time. Here's some Nurse Shark footage that I took with it a few months ago: ruclips.net/video/HgJUh0sdrC8/видео.html
@@wellnesspathforme6236 You have to be careful with the way that you close the battery compartment hatch/door. You also should not take it deeper than 59 feet. I just killed mine when I used it at 90 feet.
@@TheLastRoman0000 Thx. I can get one for $75... or less if I bargain successfully, but so many people say they've screwed it up in sub 15 foot water. Is the latch really that tricky that so many would screw it up? If so, I might buy it if I knew the "secret sauce" to keep it functional in sub 15 foot water. Is there a way to know if it is latched right or wrong in advance of its annihilation?
Some reviews talk forever to get to the point, so I like how much info you packed into 5 minutes.
Cheers Kurt :)

Sucks about having to return it! I hope the replacement lasts longer than 4 days!
Do you also have a review of Fujifilm FinePix XP200? If you have how do you find it? And do you recommend? Nikon AW110 or Fujifilm FinePix XP200?

My aw120 can only record 30 seconds max time when shooting in 720p60fps mode. That cannot be right I hope - does your aw110 do that as well??

Cisk is a Maltese beer, it's delicious!

Does it still work?

No leaks? I hear leaking can be a problem, even down to only 15 feet.
