As someone who has a demanding job and many hobbies, ZZZ is the perfect game for me. The daily login is quick, the content drop is fulfilling, the combat and upgrade system isn't overly complicated, and the character designs are my taste. The promo material and social aspects for characters also makes the characters worth it. Overall this is the only gacha game that I've been able to be caught up with and I'll be sticking with it until it gets shut down.
Lol HSR respects my time way more than ZZZ. Zenless has easy dailies but that is about it. HSR actually lets me AFK instead of having to manually grind all my gear. The grinding becomes repetitive.
No game is really worth playing 'cause every person has different free time and taste. In my case I work 11 hours everyday for six days, no girlfriend and no hobby so in my free time I play zzz 😅
Consider finding actual hobbies instead of this though... gaming is wasting your time away unless you play in moderation and have some real world hobbies to connect and socialise with. Like I started flying drones cause it's fun, its like playing a game but you're outside taking amazing shots of nature or businesses and even able to make money.
Same I'm at high school and work part time 6-10 hours at Saturday and Sunday. Only thing I do outside of school and job is playing zzz and watching youtube
@@SmashTheAdam im talking about the combat complexity, for exemple HoO(herscher of origin) can reach her 5th basic attack anytime if you have the right timing, for exemple after BA1 you wait and when she do a stance with her weapon you directly go to BA5.

I heard ZZZ's devs are new at their job or something along those lines, so as they go on they're also gonna improve their own skills which is gonna translate to new and more creative team archetypes
I normally drop hoyo games after a month or two so the fact that I've stayed since launch and even past the release of other games makes Zenless pretty special to me. At it's core, this game is similar to many of Hoyos other games. There's a 50/50 pity system, characters skill trees take a while to upgrade at a time, relic farming, etc. I would say that the key factors for me that I stuck with the game is because: A. Not all of it is a numbers game and you can make up for lack of power to some extent with individual player skill, since it's more of a character action game B. I just enjoy the more relatable story. It may be post apocalyptic, but that's more grounded to me than being in space or fighting gods, etc. I think people who dropped the game early will not come back, since there wasn't enough to do for them and the game isn't really open world - so there's no exploration for them to infinitely do either. At it's core, the game is essentially TV mode and combat instances. Which is fine if some people get bored of it, but for me personally, I found it really nice because I get extremely overwhelmed by open world games that have kept coming out recently, aside from like Elden Ring. There's technically nothing to "grind" aside from Hollow Zero exploration logs.
Not me unfortunately. i love bloodborne too but i hate this game, combat doesnt feel rewarding at all and very basic and oversimplified. Bloodborne in the other hand. You know how good it is. I dropped it after 6hrs of play and my onnly gacha game is HSR now.
Day 1 player here I really like about zzz is farming materials because I can max my agents just to 2-4 days run out of dennies just hop in hollow zero to collect zmerits or buying in store i know coffee is limited but i like it and there's no schedule just to farm mat in genshin bruh im going to wait thursday just to farm ayaka's mat roaming to get sakura bloom unlocking teleport because of that i feel so bored to log in. I think ZZZ is a change of phase for me I'm really addicted to this game. Open world games is not for me already dropped genshin and wuwa and going to try star rail.

after playing a lot of gachas with very painful farming (from Genshin to Touhou Lost Word) ZZZ is just so peaceful man, its even good for pre-farmers, if you know their element and type you can already farm basically everything
Agree with you on most things, would add If you didn't like ZZZ from a gameplay standpoint, that's very likely because you prefer games like HSR and Genshin. In that case, you can play those games instead (unironically). 2. I also think now is a good time to start, because the attributes of the current/upcoming agents allow you to do very well with the non-premium cast, which in turn gives you the freedom to pull for what you want/bank for the next ice/ether agents. 3. The more I play the game, the more it feels like 1.0-1.3 was the "open beta phase" of the game, and the polychromes/agents we are being given is just hoyo paying us for participating in it.

Yes, I've been playing Genshin and HSR since their release, and I've been playing WuWa since release as well. Out of all the games, ZZZ is the game I enjoy the most. The story is fun, the gameplay is great and it has a lot of room for growth while also being accessible on days you're feeling lazy, and overall the game is something that I look forward to playing even after a few months of playtime (Unlike WuWa which has its moments, and then pisses me off sometimes). I should add, that I went into ZZZ with an expectation that I might not keep playing it. Similar to the attitude I went into each Hoyo game, and WuWa. I found myself enjoying the initial package that was presented, but the thing that has me most excited and hopeful about ZZZ (aside from the characters like Jane or Yanagi) is the fact that the ZZZ Dev team is the most responsive in the space (Yes, they are more responsive and just as transparent as the WuWa team). They have completely redesigned how certain areas of the game plays, they've actively iterated on ideas over the past few months, and they continue to roll out improvements that are requested by the community. Give the game a try, we have two characters coming up who are really cool, and I'm sure we're going to have plenty more awesome characters in the future by the looks of it.
lol, yea I was mad when they gave me Lycaon as my first S rank because I wanted one of the hot girls, but he turned out to be one of my favorite characters.
I'll be playing long term because if honest; of the gacha games I've played ZZZ respects my time the most. Shortest dailies by a mile, story remains intriguing. The game economy kinda sucks but all tue characters are very usable so it hasn't impacted my enjoyment of the game. As well even the 4 star characters are actually cool! No one feels is phoned in just to fill a spot.
Zzz is straight up the most fun gacha gameplay wise, it doesn't feel too grindy, plus the characters are cool and there's an interesting story to be told, its the only gacha I see myself playing a year from now ngl
I’m InterKnot level 55, been playing daily since launch, and I really love ZZZ. The world is very appealing and aesthetically pleasing, and I’m really interested with the story & how it’s going to play out. I’ve nearly 100% this game. At the stage I’m at, there isn’t too much to do TBH other than prefarming Agents, which I like because it doesn’t take long to do dailies & material runs, & I can spend my time doing something else and don’t feel burnt out from playing it. This game really does have a lot of content, so you can really go at your own pace. I look forward to continue playing it for the long run. I’m gonna try to get M0R0 of every limited Agent (I’ve been successful with all of them so far, and already have 120+ pulls saved). Still missing Rina & Lycaon (not too worried about Lycaon for my Ellen team since I’ve Ceasar now & with Lighter coming out in some weeks), but I want Rina [especially M1] for Yanagi/Burnice Pen% team) but it’s fine if I get them later. This game is too hype.
ZZZ is perfect for me and I've only enjoyed it more with each patch. Its the only gacha game that covers every box for me in the games I enjoy, and my only gripe is that the F2P fomo is real even though I skipped a few characters already for the ones I really want lol I'm also glad the devs seem super responsive to the community feedback so far.
In my opinion, I'd love more content on filler patches like 1.1 felt underwheelming and Im pretty sure 1.3 is going to be another filler with lighter and Yanabi. Also Ive been waiting Ellen rerun for ages, and give players more regular master tapes, Im at 240 rn and still need 60 to get guarantee S char
I loved the game in the start. The characters, the battles and overall atmosphere. However, as the game evolves, I find that it goes down to a daily grind. I mean yeah, no one forces me to do Hollow Zero or whatever, but my point is that there's nothing else, because the story part is really short and side quests are bland. I was excited to see announcement of Sons of Calydon story, but... dammit, it was just a couple of hours of main quest and even this time was spoiled by extremely easy battles. Even Pompey was nothing close to a proper boss fight, regular enforces in Shiyu give me more beating. I dunno, maybe that's a regular issue with gachas, i don't have much experience with this genre, but if it's all about getting new characters and compete for how quickly can you clear Shiyu stages, then, well, probably I should try something else 😞
Well, they put more content into the game every 40 days, there's events, story quest and shinyu defense to do, if u play the game in a healthy way (1-2 hours a day) u will have something to do all the time
Pompey would've definetly been somewhat of a challenge, but the thing is caeser shield is just that broken😂 , without it I would've definetly died multiple times
@@herssel1145 they do add content, you're right. My issue is the quality of the content. Story is good. I mean it. Jane Doe side quest, now Caesar's, possible conflict between Phaeton and Myabi... Miyabi... well you get it - this is good. But it's like 2 hours of story in 40 days. Well... okaaay. But everything else is just meh. There are lots of quests, some have great potential, but since it's all just texting with static NPC, then do some TV with more text to read, the result doesn't make me feel anything at all. I'm fine with texts, but it's a videogame, it should make you a part of the story, not a reader. Of course ZZZ has a lot of limitations, but, jeez, just adding some choices in side quests would be great. What else is there. Agents events. This is just meh. They are shallow and disappointing. Shiyu - well, okay, combat is a huge deal in ZZZ, but unless you like running the same battle with different teams it doesn't have good replayability. Events like Camellia or... "feel yourself a NEPD clerk" are weird because they don't offer a story nor a challenge. Now it may look like I'm a ZZZ hater, but I'm not, I'm just disappointed by how it evolves by now. But of course I can just logout and return when the new chapter is ready, no one forces me to play it )

When miyabi comes out, it will draw many people to come back, especially when they add co op raids, I cannot wait for that! I do plan to play the game everyday and eventually save up, whale for Miyabi and her support units if possible, by that time I believe zzz will be at its peak moment
Zzz its my secondary game. I like the battle system but After clear nineveh11, shiyu defense, side quest... theres nothing to do so i just play for daily and wait any event haha. For zzz gacha system 50/50 its good compare the other gacha game but the problem is polychrome its hard to get so as f2p player u need to skip 1-2 banner to get guaranted save 270 pulls.
Nah, zzz is considered hella generous already, in my opinion, and it's quite normal to skip 1 or maybe 2 characters to have enough to guarantee 1 banner. No f2p should expect to get all the characters for free unless they're super lucky, the devs need to get money after all.

to me, i was a day01 player. from the previews -- i dont really like Lycaon, simply because i play gacha for the waifus. i hate husbandos on my waifu game. then Zenless gave Lycaon to me -- TWICE. one on the beginner banner, and the next on the Ellen Joe banner. I quit afterwards. then around a week before Jane Doe's banner came out, i played again. I got her in around 30 pulls. Then i enjoyed it (i was supposed to enjoy it on day1, but the Lycaon happened), so i got the battlepass and then picked the Anomaly weapon, then out of nowhere, i got her sig w-engine at 10 pulls. Been havin fun ever since. I never completed any Spiral Abyss in Genshin or anything of the same theme on other gachas -- MoC for HSR, then that other one on WuWa, because i find too much grinding for characters as a chore, and now im nolifing ZZZ and finishing Shiyu every reset and left Wuwa, HSR, Snowbreak HI3 for it. So i have 2 gacha games playing rn -- Zenless and Nikke. Both good games in my book. I loved Zenless because of the fact that each character has a unique thing in them, like how Nicole has a different attack if you hold E and WASD, or Anby's attacks, or Jane Doe and her Passion state, heck rn im building a NUKE Lucy and now im mulling on wether i'd pick Caesar King or wait for Burnice (im 20 pulls away from guaranteed) since Jane's my only legit DPS in my lineup (no grace, no other limiteds), and also the boobies-- theyre just bigger and more healthier than other Hoyoburst games. Must be because the game's on the mature audience side
give me your Lycaon please i need the wolf man. also waifu collectors are eating GOOD with ZZZ, they definely have the best character designs in any hoyo game (but as someone that also likes husbandos im going a little bit insane waiting for Lighter u_u sadge)
I saw somewhere that hoyo guarantees and reveals only the minimum chances by law, so that could mean they can secretly tinker with max, giving you what they want
@@Zafoshin so far the only Hoboverse game that gave me a premium within 10 pulls or less HI3 - Herrscher of Thunder in 5 pulls HSR - Topaz with 15 pulls then nothing else. Theyre really stingy when giving me 5s on all of their games, maybe i should change my account, but i use one account on all of them lol Nikke gave me multiple SSRs alot of times in more instances, but almost 80% of their SSRs are useless meta-wise.
I think game is fine and I been playing since the start but I really wish they could come up with something more than 1 time "challenge" endgame content. It is more of a check of if you have played 1-2 months than anything else. Feels like they are afraid to make any truly hard content as it would point out how wild the gaps are in power between mindscape limiteds > limiteds > standard chars.
Started playing about a month ago not expecting much since it was my first gacha game, but the gameplay is fun and the story is actually pretty good. Plus, I managed to win the 50/50 for Jane Doe (she reeled me into the game in the first place for uh... reasons...) and I've been playing ever since 😂
Good improvements so far BUT I still hate the filler quests where all you need to do is talk from one person, to another, and another, and back to the other. Bro, they are even just a few meters away from one another and they still need you to relay their message. Yet, there are a lot of those talking quests in this game, even in newly added contents XD
I've been playing since day 1, the story and vibes hooked me along with the combat. I keep finding non-combat goals to achieve, like befriend the black cat and unlock all the bizarre brigade characters. It's an interesting combo of fighting and relaxing for me. A relaxtion game 😂
I'm one of those players that left a short while after release and came back after Burnice release and now enjoying it. And the notion that combat is "basic, basic, basic then EX" or till something in my screen lights up is spot on for early players because that is really how the game was introduced to us with the early roster being Anby and Billy and that's why I dropped it early
For the future update, i am hype for the decibel and ult change. This alone will change a lot of characters played for example nicole ult give 10 energy for whole team plus 20 energy for next character. Also possible THC (Total Hyper Combo) like marvel vs capcom?
I'd say a few months isn't nearly enough time to make a call, and that so far it feels less like they're "Making improvements" and more just implementing features that could have been there from the start. But generally it does seem like any player who has already found something to really enjoy will continue to see improvements, so theres little reason to jump ship. Personally, I'm staying for the core combat and the aesthetic, but I'm still in 'Waiting Mode' for an S-Rank to pull for, and a game mode I like, since as of right now I've really only built 2 characters, have no interest in Shiyu, and I very much hate rougelikes.
It will always surprises me how much HATE this game received at launch, and how many people claimed "I'm dropping and not coming back" just to return and remark "it was fun". Previously, people would trash talk the game and make memes about it, especially when other gacha games were mentioned (like Wuwa), even if the games were very different. When the first gacha revenue came in, people were surprised it didn't die out, and when it plummeted the next month, they said they foresaw its demise. Now we have the same individuals creating guides, producing streams, and openly claiming they will play it later, or even whining about the substantial removal of TVs from the game, which they originally wanted removed entirely. Far less, if you consider folks who simply despised whatever Hoyo produces in general. After all of that, ZZZ has actually stood up to hatred and is currently one of the top five best-selling gacha games worldwide (at least on mobile) and even brought back people (like myself) that were influenced into uninstalling the game due to bad takes on it. To be clear, Wuwa, HSR, ZZZ, and even Genshin are all amazing games, in their own way, but the toxic people and gacha community BS, even from trusted content creators, reared its ugly head when ZZZ came out.
Now that I reached endgame and with my 2 3 agents teams agents level 60 . It’s not that bad I log in 30 min do daily ( only on Monday I stay an hour for shiyu or other stuff)
most players i heard dont like the game it's either because of the TV or it's too easy. Now that we have less TV and harder content, its worth it for them to give it another shot
i think that the complexity part is maybe a bit exaggerated, it's true that the game has some crazy mechanics, but until you reach end game you can live without minding it too much, i reached like level 40 until i noticed Lycaon's combo as an example, i didn't need it before...
im still enjoying the game but I play this game really slow. I just did my first Garden clear Yesterday. I really like the game, still own meta characters like Ellen w/w-engine, Zhu and Jane w/w-engine. waiting for Burnice. I like that the game isn't as demanding with your time and the new stamina system helps you stack charges pretty easily. I plan to keep playing at the same pace doing my dailies and weeklies. PS: I HAVE 2 NEKOs
I really love this game. I like the story so far and the challenges, and I'm sticking around for burnice. Ive got m1 ceasar and m6 piper, so im feeling really set for a sons of calydon team build. i feel like i did with genshin but if id have been around from day 1. idk what to tell ya, its fucking great
This game is just perfect for me and it just become better and better except a fact that it take too much to fully build a character. I just can't experience them at full potential because new characters just come out and have no time to build
At this point it’s apparent that ZZZ is pretty niche. Pretty much a hate it or love it kind of game. People who like fighting games & the aesthetic of the game should definitely give it a try. It will never reach the same level of popularity as HSR & Genshin though.
this game isnt as time consuming as hsr, gi or hi3rd as a highschooler that values education and has a really time consuming outside of school hobby. its casual the combat is fun , the story is fun and good (imo not evb gonna agree with this ) the designs are so unique the whole game has unique visuals
If you fell in love with genshins combat but hated the open world and boring minigames they kept shoving down your throat, ZZZ is definitely worth playing Combat isnt as advanced since no reactions but the game focuses ONLY on combat and story which is nice
For me, since I have only started since the start of 1.2, I am not sure, but I will keep getting tapes until I have guaranteed pulls for Yanagi. I may turn off of the game earlier, or later after Yanagi, so I do not know what to answer yet.
Yes, it worth the time, perhaps the best games of hoyo so far. If you ever played any of their game before you will know the difference, i dont have to explain.
daily login is quick combat is good upgrading is easy to understand, tho it takes a bit to get everything, farm different discs so i always want more daily energy😭 the biggest negative for me is that the combat areas is pretty boring, i liked the open world of genshin and the exploration aspect it adds more gametime to it and i like exploring and just running around. But it felt a bit to much in genshin since you travels sooo slow and i had 0 characters i liked in that so dropped it pretty fast. But in zzz you complete everything too fast since its just talk a bit then kill everything and now im just doing dailys and waiting for new content. And hoping we get some fun coop stuff
I've been playing typically nonstop. I do Like this game a lot. But My PC is trash fr. so I'll get a better pc so i can enjoy the unlimited fps thing or stay at 60 i don’t know. but i really like Zenless Zone.
Is it the perfect game for me because i don't have a lot of free time in my day. Sometimes i even just log in from my iPhone ( i normally use Ps5/PC ) Just to pick up the dailies than leave. Unlike other games, You don't have to spend 3 - 4 hours a day to keep up with the rest
My only grip about this game is the battery stamina. It hinders me from playing all day. Trying to up grade make me want to leave it alone. I don't really understand the 50/50 and I don't care i know it is to try and get you to spend money.
Tbh, I don't find it fun anymore. I have 2 accounts. Since Qingyi's banner I'm just doing errands everyday in my main account then close the game. I even miss many events. I grind my second account since day 3 and never pulled to a limited agent until Caesar. I want to get all of SOC faction (which all of them is guaranteed for at least a copy or M1) and I already got Caesar but I think i don't want to play the game anymore. I've lost interest in the game itself but I still want to pull for SOC, Yanagi and Idol faction that's why I'm still playing until now. I'm just doing errands tho. But don't get me wrong, zzz improve a lot especially on the way they introduce their new characters, stories, trailers, ep and stuff.
Why don’t you get invested into team comp building? I’ve been playing since launch and got Ellen on the third pull :) She is also my whole drive to keep playing, but looking past that, I got inspired by other ppl’s builds online and wanted to improve her further as well as the other agents. The only banner I’ve lost is Qingyi ;n;, but the loss was Lycaon XD I’ve cleared all endgame and critical nodes back to back now from both team Ellen and Zhu yuan, have long surpassed the CD builds on the ppl who’ve made min maxing possible from their shiyu defense run demonstration videos.
@@Escomor97 not sure if it's just a simple "burnout" like you're saying tho and having multiple accounts was not the problem either. It's just like in other games i've played before. At first I really enjoyed playing it and was convinced that I'll play it for a long time but all of a sudden, no matter how fun and enjoyable those game was, still, I lost interest earlier than expected even tho i didn't get burnout and still find the game enjoyable. for me, the gameplay is enjoyable enough. but this is one of the least engaging games i think i've ever played. 90% of the game is just boring text that i just mash through. all they'd have to do is make all unvoiced dialogue voiced and i'd sit there and listen to it. but i'm not gonna sit there and read 6 paragraphs about nothing while the characters just idle. that one is definitely a me problem, so i can't really fault the game for it. the events suck. the only event that i feel hasn't been lazy busy work that we already do is the one we have now where we're serving customers at our restaurant. anything involving the arcade i skip because that's also not really fun to me. i'd rather have a reason to have a friends list with real multiplayer so there would be a point to add anyone. grinding sucks. because the stamina cap is annoyingly low no matter what level you are. it would be great if stamina amount increased a bit with your account level. overall, i'm still invested into the game, i love building up multiple teams and i'm still kind of figuring out who goes well together and what makes a good team. Caesar added a really fun parry that i can't stop using, i have so much fun with that i forget that i have 2 other agents i could be using. plus it just builds up a good amount of daze for a perfect parry. i've never really played a game that i dislike so much of, yet stick with it anyway.
For me aside being a hoyo game after awhile it just maintenance mode the goner nature is what kept me bless waterkuma as a person whose married with 2 kids game easy to play with s for everything including chara fart makes combat not too bad it does bite me when I go back to wuwa got to used to s lol but over all zzz is like star rail after awhile just login daily log off as for powercreep there is 1 being how easier to turn on core sub passives and man they love anomality yanagi is gonna be as strong or stronger…

There's a 50/50 pity system, characters skill trees take a while to upgrade at a time, relic farming, etc. I would say that the key factors for me that I stuck with the game is because:
A. Not all of it is a numbers game and you can make up for lack of power to some extent with individual player skill, since it's more of a character action game
B. I just enjoy the more relatable story. It may be post apocalyptic, but that's more grounded to me than being in space or fighting gods, etc.
I think people who dropped the game early will not come back, since there wasn't enough to do for them and the game isn't really open world - so there's no exploration for them to infinitely do either. At it's core, the game is essentially TV mode and combat instances. Which is fine if some people get bored of it, but for me personally, I found it really nice because I get extremely overwhelmed by open world games that have kept coming out recently, aside from like Elden Ring. There's technically nothing to "grind" aside from Hollow Zero exploration logs.
For me it is the opposite, this is the only hoyo game i am struggling to be interested in. HSR is a much better side game than ZZZ.

Not me unfortunately. i love bloodborne too but i hate this game, combat doesnt feel rewarding at all and very basic and oversimplified. Bloodborne in the other hand. You know how good it is. I dropped it after 6hrs of play and my onnly gacha game is HSR now.
Day 1 player here I really like about zzz is farming materials because I can max my agents just to 2-4 days run out of dennies just hop in hollow zero to collect zmerits or buying in store i know coffee is limited but i like it and there's no schedule just to farm mat in genshin bruh im going to wait thursday just to farm ayaka's mat roaming to get sakura bloom unlocking teleport because of that i feel so bored to log in. I think ZZZ is a change of phase for me I'm really addicted to this game. Open world games is not for me already dropped genshin and wuwa and going to try star rail.

after playing a lot of gachas with very painful farming (from Genshin to Touhou Lost Word) ZZZ is just so peaceful man, its even good for pre-farmers, if you know their element and type you can already farm basically everything

If you didn't like ZZZ from a gameplay standpoint, that's very likely because you prefer games like HSR and Genshin. In that case, you can play those games instead (unironically).
2. I also think now is a good time to start, because the attributes of the current/upcoming agents allow you to do very well with the non-premium cast, which in turn gives you the freedom to pull for what you want/bank for the next ice/ether agents.
3. The more I play the game, the more it feels like 1.0-1.3 was the "open beta phase" of the game, and the polychromes/agents we are being given is just hoyo paying us for participating in it.

Yes, I've been playing Genshin and HSR since their release, and I've been playing WuWa since release as well. Out of all the games, ZZZ is the game I enjoy the most. The story is fun, the gameplay is great and it has a lot of room for growth while also being accessible on days you're feeling lazy, and overall the game is something that I look forward to playing even after a few months of playtime (Unlike WuWa which has its moments, and then pisses me off sometimes).
I should add, that I went into ZZZ with an expectation that I might not keep playing it. Similar to the attitude I went into each Hoyo game, and WuWa. I found myself enjoying the initial package that was presented, but the thing that has me most excited and hopeful about ZZZ (aside from the characters like Jane or Yanagi) is the fact that the ZZZ Dev team is the most responsive in the space (Yes, they are more responsive and just as transparent as the WuWa team). They have completely redesigned how certain areas of the game plays, they've actively iterated on ideas over the past few months, and they continue to roll out improvements that are requested by the community.
Give the game a try, we have two characters coming up who are really cool, and I'm sure we're going to have plenty more awesome characters in the future by the looks of it.

I'll be playing long term because if honest; of the gacha games I've played ZZZ respects my time the most. Shortest dailies by a mile, story remains intriguing. The game economy kinda sucks but all tue characters are very usable so it hasn't impacted my enjoyment of the game. As well even the 4 star characters are actually cool! No one feels is phoned in just to fill a spot.
Zzz is straight up the most fun gacha gameplay wise, it doesn't feel too grindy, plus the characters are cool and there's an interesting story to be told, its the only gacha I see myself playing a year from now ngl

I’m InterKnot level 55, been playing daily since launch, and I really love ZZZ. The world is very appealing and aesthetically pleasing, and I’m really interested with the story & how it’s going to play out. I’ve nearly 100% this game. At the stage I’m at, there isn’t too much to do TBH other than prefarming Agents, which I like because it doesn’t take long to do dailies & material runs, & I can spend my time doing something else and don’t feel burnt out from playing it. This game really does have a lot of content, so you can really go at your own pace. I look forward to continue playing it for the long run. I’m gonna try to get M0R0 of every limited Agent (I’ve been successful with all of them so far, and already have 120+ pulls saved). Still missing Rina & Lycaon (not too worried about Lycaon for my Ellen team since I’ve Ceasar now & with Lighter coming out in some weeks), but I want Rina [especially M1] for Yanagi/Burnice Pen% team) but it’s fine if I get them later. This game is too hype.
ZZZ is perfect for me and I've only enjoyed it more with each patch. Its the only gacha game that covers every box for me in the games I enjoy, and my only gripe is that the F2P fomo is real even though I skipped a few characters already for the ones I really want lol
I'm also glad the devs seem super responsive to the community feedback so far.
In my opinion, I'd love more content on filler patches like 1.1 felt underwheelming and Im pretty sure 1.3 is going to be another filler with lighter and Yanabi. Also Ive been waiting Ellen rerun for ages, and give players more regular master tapes, Im at 240 rn and still need 60 to get guarantee S char
I loved the game in the start. The characters, the battles and overall atmosphere.
However, as the game evolves, I find that it goes down to a daily grind. I mean yeah, no one forces me to do Hollow Zero or whatever, but my point is that there's nothing else, because the story part is really short and side quests are bland. I was excited to see announcement of Sons of Calydon story, but... dammit, it was just a couple of hours of main quest and even this time was spoiled by extremely easy battles. Even Pompey was nothing close to a proper boss fight, regular enforces in Shiyu give me more beating.
I dunno, maybe that's a regular issue with gachas, i don't have much experience with this genre, but if it's all about getting new characters and compete for how quickly can you clear Shiyu stages, then, well, probably I should try something else 😞
Well, they put more content into the game every 40 days, there's events, story quest and shinyu defense to do, if u play the game in a healthy way (1-2 hours a day) u will have something to do all the time
Pompey would've definetly been somewhat of a challenge, but the thing is caeser shield is just that broken😂 , without it I would've definetly died multiple times

@@herssel1145 they do add content, you're right. My issue is the quality of the content. Story is good. I mean it. Jane Doe side quest, now Caesar's, possible conflict between Phaeton and Myabi... Miyabi... well you get it - this is good. But it's like 2 hours of story in 40 days. Well... okaaay. But everything else is just meh. There are lots of quests, some have great potential, but since it's all just texting with static NPC, then do some TV with more text to read, the result doesn't make me feel anything at all. I'm fine with texts, but it's a videogame, it should make you a part of the story, not a reader. Of course ZZZ has a lot of limitations, but, jeez, just adding some choices in side quests would be great. What else is there. Agents events. This is just meh. They are shallow and disappointing. Shiyu - well, okay, combat is a huge deal in ZZZ, but unless you like running the same battle with different teams it doesn't have good replayability. Events like Camellia or... "feel yourself a NEPD clerk" are weird because they don't offer a story nor a challenge.
Now it may look like I'm a ZZZ hater, but I'm not, I'm just disappointed by how it evolves by now. But of course I can just logout and return when the new chapter is ready, no one forces me to play it )

Zzz its my secondary game. I like the battle system but After clear nineveh11, shiyu defense, side quest... theres nothing to do so i just play for daily and wait any event haha.
For zzz gacha system 50/50 its good compare the other gacha game but the problem is polychrome its hard to get so as f2p player u need to skip 1-2 banner to get guaranted save 270 pulls.
Nah, zzz is considered hella generous already, in my opinion, and it's quite normal to skip 1 or maybe 2 characters to have enough to guarantee 1 banner. No f2p should expect to get all the characters for free unless they're super lucky, the devs need to get money after all.

to me, i was a day01 player. from the previews -- i dont really like Lycaon, simply because i play gacha for the waifus. i hate husbandos on my waifu game.
then Zenless gave Lycaon to me -- TWICE. one on the beginner banner, and the next on the Ellen Joe banner. I quit afterwards.
then around a week before Jane Doe's banner came out, i played again. I got her in around 30 pulls. Then i enjoyed it (i was supposed to enjoy it on day1, but the Lycaon happened), so i got the battlepass and then picked the Anomaly weapon, then out of nowhere, i got her sig w-engine at 10 pulls. Been havin fun ever since. I never completed any Spiral Abyss in Genshin or anything of the same theme on other gachas -- MoC for HSR, then that other one on WuWa, because i find too much grinding for characters as a chore, and now im nolifing ZZZ and finishing Shiyu every reset and left Wuwa, HSR, Snowbreak HI3 for it. So i have 2 gacha games playing rn -- Zenless and Nikke. Both good games in my book.
I loved Zenless because of the fact that each character has a unique thing in them, like how Nicole has a different attack if you hold E and WASD, or Anby's attacks, or Jane Doe and her Passion state, heck rn im building a NUKE Lucy and now im mulling on wether i'd pick Caesar King or wait for Burnice (im 20 pulls away from guaranteed) since Jane's my only legit DPS in my lineup (no grace, no other limiteds), and also the boobies-- theyre just bigger and more healthier than other Hoyoburst games. Must be because the game's on the mature audience side

I saw somewhere that hoyo guarantees and reveals only the minimum chances by law, so that could mean they can secretly tinker with max, giving you what they want

Nikke gave me multiple SSRs alot of times in more instances, but almost 80% of their SSRs are useless meta-wise.
I think game is fine and I been playing since the start but I really wish they could come up with something more than 1 time "challenge" endgame content. It is more of a check of if you have played 1-2 months than anything else. Feels like they are afraid to make any truly hard content as it would point out how wild the gaps are in power between mindscape limiteds > limiteds > standard chars.
Started playing about a month ago not expecting much since it was my first gacha game, but the gameplay is fun and the story is actually pretty good. Plus, I managed to win the 50/50 for Jane Doe (she reeled me into the game in the first place for uh... reasons...) and I've been playing ever since 😂
Good improvements so far BUT I still hate the filler quests where all you need to do is talk from one person, to another, and another, and back to the other. Bro, they are even just a few meters away from one another and they still need you to relay their message. Yet, there are a lot of those talking quests in this game, even in newly added contents XD
I've been playing since day 1, the story and vibes hooked me along with the combat. I keep finding non-combat goals to achieve, like befriend the black cat and unlock all the bizarre brigade characters. It's an interesting combo of fighting and relaxing for me. A relaxtion game 😂

I'm one of those players that left a short while after release and came back after Burnice release and now enjoying it. And the notion that combat is "basic, basic, basic then EX" or till something in my screen lights up is spot on for early players because that is really how the game was introduced to us with the early roster being Anby and Billy and that's why I dropped it early
For the future update, i am hype for the decibel and ult change. This alone will change a lot of characters played for example nicole ult give 10 energy for whole team plus 20 energy for next character. Also possible THC (Total Hyper Combo) like marvel vs capcom?
I'd say a few months isn't nearly enough time to make a call, and that so far it feels less like they're "Making improvements" and more just implementing features that could have been there from the start. But generally it does seem like any player who has already found something to really enjoy will continue to see improvements, so theres little reason to jump ship.
Personally, I'm staying for the core combat and the aesthetic, but I'm still in 'Waiting Mode' for an S-Rank to pull for, and a game mode I like, since as of right now I've really only built 2 characters, have no interest in Shiyu, and I very much hate rougelikes.

It will always surprises me how much HATE this game received at launch, and how many people claimed "I'm dropping and not coming back" just to return and remark "it was fun". Previously, people would trash talk the game and make memes about it, especially when other gacha games were mentioned (like Wuwa), even if the games were very different. When the first gacha revenue came in, people were surprised it didn't die out, and when it plummeted the next month, they said they foresaw its demise.
Now we have the same individuals creating guides, producing streams, and openly claiming they will play it later, or even whining about the substantial removal of TVs from the game, which they originally wanted removed entirely. Far less, if you consider folks who simply despised whatever Hoyo produces in general.
After all of that, ZZZ has actually stood up to hatred and is currently one of the top five best-selling gacha games worldwide (at least on mobile) and even brought back people (like myself) that were influenced into uninstalling the game due to bad takes on it.
To be clear, Wuwa, HSR, ZZZ, and even Genshin are all amazing games, in their own way, but the toxic people and gacha community BS, even from trusted content creators, reared its ugly head when ZZZ came out.

im still enjoying the game but I play this game really slow. I just did my first Garden clear Yesterday. I really like the game, still own meta characters like Ellen w/w-engine, Zhu and Jane w/w-engine. waiting for Burnice. I like that the game isn't as demanding with your time and the new stamina system helps you stack charges pretty easily. I plan to keep playing at the same pace doing my dailies and weeklies.

At this point it’s apparent that ZZZ is pretty niche. Pretty much a hate it or love it kind of game. People who like fighting games & the aesthetic of the game should definitely give it a try. It will never reach the same level of popularity as HSR & Genshin though.

the biggest negative for me is that the combat areas is pretty boring, i liked the open world of genshin and the exploration aspect it adds more gametime to it and i like exploring and just running around. But it felt a bit to much in genshin since you travels sooo slow and i had 0 characters i liked in that so dropped it pretty fast. But in zzz you complete everything too fast since its just talk a bit then kill everything and now im just doing dailys and waiting for new content. And hoping we get some fun coop stuff

Is it the perfect game for me because i don't have a lot of free time in my day. Sometimes i even just log in from my iPhone ( i normally use Ps5/PC ) Just to pick up the dailies than leave. Unlike other games, You don't have to spend 3 - 4 hours a day to keep up with the rest

Tbh, I don't find it fun anymore. I have 2 accounts. Since Qingyi's banner I'm just doing errands everyday in my main account then close the game. I even miss many events. I grind my second account since day 3 and never pulled to a limited agent until Caesar. I want to get all of SOC faction (which all of them is guaranteed for at least a copy or M1) and I already got Caesar but I think i don't want to play the game anymore. I've lost interest in the game itself but I still want to pull for SOC, Yanagi and Idol faction that's why I'm still playing until now. I'm just doing errands tho. But don't get me wrong, zzz improve a lot especially on the way they introduce their new characters, stories, trailers, ep and stuff.

I’ve been playing since launch and got Ellen on the third pull :) She is also my whole drive to keep playing, but looking past that, I got inspired by other ppl’s builds online and wanted to improve her further as well as the other agents. The only banner I’ve lost is Qingyi ;n;, but the loss was Lycaon XD I’ve cleared all endgame and critical nodes back to back now from both team Ellen and Zhu yuan, have long surpassed the CD builds on the ppl who’ve made min maxing possible from their shiyu defense run demonstration videos.

At first I really enjoyed playing it and was convinced that I'll play it for a long time but all of a sudden, no matter how fun and enjoyable those game was, still, I lost interest earlier than expected even tho i didn't get burnout and still find the game enjoyable. for me, the gameplay is enjoyable enough. but this is one of the least engaging games i think i've ever played. 90% of the game is just boring text that i just mash through. all they'd have to do is make all unvoiced dialogue voiced and i'd sit there and listen to it. but i'm not gonna sit there and read 6 paragraphs about nothing while the characters just idle. that one is definitely a me problem, so i can't really fault the game for it. the events suck. the only event that i feel hasn't been lazy busy work that we already do is the one we have now where we're serving customers at our restaurant. anything involving the arcade i skip because that's also not really fun to me. i'd rather have a reason to have a friends list with real multiplayer so there would be a point to add anyone. grinding sucks. because the stamina cap is annoyingly low no matter what level you are. it would be great if stamina amount increased a bit with your account level. overall, i'm still invested into the game, i love building up multiple teams and i'm still kind of figuring out who goes well together and what makes a good team. Caesar added a really fun parry that i can't stop using, i have so much fun with that i forget that i have 2 other agents i could be using. plus it just builds up a good amount of daze for a perfect parry. i've never really played a game that i dislike so much of, yet stick with it anyway.
For me aside being a hoyo game after awhile it just maintenance mode the goner nature is what kept me bless waterkuma as a person whose married with 2 kids game easy to play with s for everything including chara fart makes combat not too bad it does bite me when I go back to wuwa got to used to s lol but over all zzz is like star rail after awhile just login daily log off as for powercreep there is 1 being how easier to turn on core sub passives and man they love anomality yanagi is gonna be as strong or stronger…
But tldr it’s just another hoyo game formula post jenshin it just their direction or art it’s different at least for me

@ no worries, the game isn’t for everyone. I can see why wuwa is popular, but i personally can’t do another open world like genshin
