There is no reason to play around Rina's shock duration on a disorder team, the longer the shock the more damage your disorder does, because the more time left on the disorder the more damage is calculated to the disorder damage. The +electric damage to shocked enemies also counts when you disorder the shock anomaly so not only do you get more damage because shock lasts longer, that shock is also increased by 10% damage. Disorder that shock as soon as possible for a massive disorder proc.
Yup, forgot to talk about the increased Shock Duration increasing Disorder damage, +3s is a lot of damage and no reason to ignore. Thanks for pointing it out ❤ However, the extra DMG% is not going to be taken into account on the Disorder. That's because the 10% Electric DMG didn't exist when first applying shock, since Rina only gives to you AFTER the Shock is applied, and disorder uses the same stats from the applied anomaly.
Grace was the first 5 star I got and I’m playing her a lot since 1.0. In my experience she is way stronger in disorder than mono electro. I feel like her passive is a bit of a trap since applying electro from none anomaly teammates will lower her anomaly damage. I started with Grace and Anton in which Anton yoinks the anomaly all the time and the damage becomes very underwhelming. Once I switched to Grace Piper Lucy she became very strong. Later exchanged Lucy for Caesar and Piper for Jane and Burnice and both of these variations are extremely strong. Graces anomaly build up is wicked fast and you can trigger a lot of disorder. I don’t think Grace in a pure electro team will be particularly viable until we’ll get more characters that synergise with her properly.
Anomaly dmg is based on amount of application For example if Grace applied 80% and anton applied the remaining 20% I'm quite sure that the shock dmg would be 80% grace + 20% anton shock dmg (Correct me if I'm wrong)
@ you’re correct. The problem with Anton is that he builds anomaly pretty fast during his dps window and I often trigger anomaly again with 100% contribution from Anton. In that case the first anomaly application that had mixed contribution gets overridden. It’s really quite frustrating and why I dropped Anton fairly quickly.
“You cannot play grace as a main dps”. Me getting S rank on all shiyu defense flors with Grace/Seth/Qingyi with f2p w-engines: Ok But I do understand that is not her “optimal” play style. I just never heard of that before and invested in her, and surprise, she did the job. Maybe I wouldn’t have tried her as a DPS if I heard this advice back then, but I’m glad I never heard this. And by dps I only mean she is on-field most of the time, not that I built her with crit.
It's mostly because her damage output is heavily limited since shock can only trigger once every second, but good to know you're clearing Shiyu Defense with Grace ❤️ Are you using ATK on Disc 6?
Something to mention is how quick and easy it is for Rina to trigger QA unlke Soukaku who requires a very long animation whether through Chain Attacks or Hold EX, Rina's animations are very quick. Because its so easy for Rina to QA, you have easy access to Ellen's Quick Charge tech which is good for Ellen who's a field time hog. One of the combos I learned from the NEDS discord is to go into Ellen's N3, backswap immediately to Rina while Ellen is still kicking to EX Special on Rina then QA into quick charge again for Ellen. This keeps Ellen's stacks very high through the fight while also keeping Rina's Pen buff active.
Mindscape 4 being "only protection" undersells it dramatically. Like ellen, her last hit in the basic combo does the best damage. It's also got a super long animation she can easily be knocked out of. M4 changes this, yes ceasar fixes the problem as well but this let's you run full fire and leave ceasar for the other side.
I hesitated between Rina, Soldier 11 and Koleda, then i lost my 50/50 on Lighter's to get Rina, so as i lack resources and like confort, i went for Rina's M1. No regrets :)
I went with Lycaon because I really needed an ice stunner. I got Rina early on and her pen ratio buff is not to be ignored. I still don’t have Grace and Koleda.

I use Grace as a main DPS on my team 2 out of necessity. I also used her along side Piper in an anomaly build prior to landing Burnice. Grace is a bit underwhelming but is mobile enough to keep safe but the W's come slow. 11/10 feet
So, about Billy. He's easily beats Neko if you have mindscape 2. Mindscape 2 gives him a dodge roll, not to mention his kit is really good for knocking out groups of enemies with chain attacks also getting the passive stacks for the ult, which can shred enemies very easily. His passive works on most of his attacks granted you don't return to standing before you activate something, his best ability is the ability to play as a pseudo-sustainer in how you can roll any attack like any other dodge with no penalty and this doesn't interfere with other dodges. Neko literally can't keep up. The original three gentle house members is a regular team I use in Shiyu Critical 7
Rina is the most future proof, Lycaon is the most relevant, Soldier 11 doesnt have any competition in slot and likely wont until after her faction drops, Grace might be servicable with Harumasa drop, and while Koleda is the best stunner shes overall the most useless unless you have soldier 11 already. As for Nekomata, shes actually pretty good with her m1 + weapon and lets be real, most of us suffer her curse and have her mindscape 2 by now... but she really is pretty good with Caesar and Lucy.
I fell better for losing 50/50 to Rina TWICE now, even after already having her from the standard banner so, I own a M2 Rina which was benched for a while because I had no idea if she was useful lmao, my luck with ZZZ's gacha has been quite bad, besides the three Rinas, I also got two copies of Nekomata's weapon, fortunately Lighter broke my curse, won 50/50 for the first time and got his weapon in a single 10 pull, hopefully this luck continues with Myiabi 🙏
seems like a pretty easy choice for me, I got the curse of Nekomata in the standard channel (twice...), I lost 1 50/50 to S11 and I just got Lighter that powercreeps both Koleda and Lycaon. EZ Rina
I use Rina with yanagi and Seth and that team is extremely solid. Sub 1 minute clears in shiyu 7. Let's me also use Burnice and Caesar with piper on the other side. Yanagi with Burnice is just a cheat code though
The plan was to get either Grace or Nekomiya as those two are the only ones I don't have yet. But an M1 Rina probably would be the smartest idea. Thing is, I'm kind of more of a "collector" than anything else, and I've wanted Nekomiya since before the game even released. For now though I'm waiting for my next random S-rank pull before I cash in the freebie.
Got Lycaon early in the game and ended up getting his W-Engine close to the 300 mark. Would be ok getting his M1, but not gonna pull hard for the other units. Ultimately decided with Soldier 11 in hopes of pulling Lighter, and Nekomata trolled me twice on his 50/50. 😢 Still a few weeks left, really need a fire unit.
I'll see when i finally get my 300. I already have lycaon on m2 while i don't have rina and lycaon m4 is a shield while you are doing charged basic attacks which i feel is much more valuable right now than a completely new character to build. But I'll see after miyabi banner in two weeks as i have 120 pulls and currently at 14 till hard pity with a previous 50/50 loss.
Needed that Grace. Was not disappointed! My game has been spamming me with Sol 11 and Nekos. Both at 2 dupes a piece. I dont think it knows there are other standard 5* characters. RIP my hopes of ever getting Koleda because they just gave me 2 lighters in my first ten pull for him. I dont think ill be lucky enough to get a Lyacon so after Miyabi, Im not summoning anymore. i picked lycaon and im so glad i did with miyabi's reveal lol. i would've probably picked gracw or rina otherwise though. nekomata has been completely usurped and soldier 11 is only really good for one team.
Looking at my account, it's between Rina c0 or Lycaon c2 for me. Harumasa will cover my lack of electric damage, and I can build Nicole instead of Rina I don't find his charging too obstructive personally
I chose Lycaon for mine mainly because he was the only Standard aside from Nekomata that I didn’t have already lol. And my Rina was already M1 so it was an easy choice 😅
With your situation, I think just leaving it be for now could be a good choice. You can always choose later if you want a specific mindscape for somebody

Edit: Forgot that my reasoning is that even when Grace is only doing phys attack it builds phys anomaly So that is why with this setup no matter who does what it goes towards disorder either way
I already had Rina M1, so I pulled Soldier 11. Only ones missing now I lycaon and Grace, but I habe good stunners and Yanagi, so I really don't need them
I was stuck between Rina and Lycaon but I have enough stunners that the smartest choice is Rina just to bump mine up to M1. Rina just doesn't get a lot of team utility due to no decent electric allies, I regret ignoring Yanagi but she looked so basic despite how well she does disorder. I might miss the extra passive and have 2/3 members fulfilled when building but penetration will definitely go a long way than what the others provide.

As for the damage dealers... don't really for Grace all that much (for all the reasons you outlined), I have M2 Jane (so nekomata is EXTRA dead), and Burnice (so S11 is w/e). I guess i'll bank it to pick up Lycaon or Rina's M4 (assuming I get unlucky enough to get either of them to M3).
I have Rina m1 but I'm not interested in/I don't see myself ever using the other agents I don't have (grace, koleda, lycheon) since I have units that surpass them so I still think I want another copy of Rina to speed up the eventual max copies I wanna have
Grace and Neko are literally the only 2 I'm missing and Neko is the only one I have to have. I got M1 S11. Her timing is actually pretty easy and I'm bad at timing attacks.
So, I ran an experiment wth both koleda and grace and gave them pen ratio instead of elemental damage boost while still focusing on crit and both of them do better damage this way
Rina M1 vs Soldier 11 M0, which one's better? I enjoy Soldier 11 playstyle a lot just from experiencing the trial agent in events & pretty much have no trouble with her basic atk timing, but Rina M1 surely feels like a QoL upgrade so now I'm confused.
If you want to use Rina in a main team, M1 makes her sooo much easier and more simple to use. It really just depends which character you want to use more

If you're hitting 300 then you probably have a bunch of standard 5 star banners already. So this assumes you don't yet have some of them: Here's their viability during the current build: 1. Lycaon 2. Rina 3. Soldier 11 The current strongest 4 stars are Nicole, Lucy and Seth and Soukaku and if you notice, they're the same elements as those 5 stars. This bit's important because Miyabi is coming very soon. Soldier 11 is conditional because there really arent any viable fire dps's (burnice is an off field anomaly not a field dps) and works well with Lighter, while Rina is a good general purpose unit, and having both Lycaon and Rina allows you to use Butlerboo.
I had a question I am at the same no. of pulls as you 277 but have a S rank guaranteed in 20 pulls or like at 297 so will I get two 5 stars or it will treat my 297 as 300 pulls and give me selector early ??
Oof, highly recommend getting another DPS. I don't know which units you own, but here's some suggestions: If you're looking for Miyabi, Lycaon or Lighter are both great supports for her Harumasa could probably use Grace in a "mono-electric" set-up You can also go for S11 if you like the "rhythm" gameplay, but Lighter is the best "support" for her right now. In any case, I firmly believe that fun > meta, so if none of these units appeal to you, feel free to either wait or pick the one you'll have fun playing with ❤

Do the 18x2% shock dmg from Grace's core skill also contribute to disorder damage?
From play testing disorders scale off of attack so much more since it's the last multiplier in the equation.

Unless you really like Soldier 11 (as "waifu") I wouldn't recommend her from a power perspective. She is rather demanding for a middling performer.

My first 5* was Lycaon and i never really liked using him. I wanted Grace and recently got her. Im think of getting m2 Soldier 11.

Lycaon' later mindscapes are underwhelming. Whereas Rina gets a pretty good at M6 for Electric teams
So, I ran an experiment wth both koleda and grace and gave them pen ratio instead of elemental damage boost while still focusing on crit and both of them do better damage this way
Rina M1 vs Soldier 11 M0, which one's better? I enjoy Soldier 11 playstyle a lot just from experiencing the trial agent in events & pretty much have no trouble with her basic atk timing, but Rina M1 surely feels like a QoL upgrade so now I'm confused.
If you want to use Rina in a main team, M1 makes her sooo much easier and more simple to use. It really just depends which character you want to use more
rina is my first S class unit, I also got her wengine from the standard banner so I think that's a sign for me to M1 her for the selection

If you're hitting 300 then you probably have a bunch of standard 5 star banners already. So this assumes you don't yet have some of them: Here's their viability during the current build:
1. Lycaon
2. Rina
3. Soldier 11
The current strongest 4 stars are Nicole, Lucy and Seth and Soukaku and if you notice, they're the same elements as those 5 stars. This bit's important because Miyabi is coming very soon. Soldier 11 is conditional because there really arent any viable fire dps's (burnice is an off field anomaly not a field dps) and works well with Lighter, while Rina is a good general purpose unit, and having both Lycaon and Rina allows you to use Butlerboo.

I had a question I am at the same no. of pulls as you 277 but have a S rank guaranteed in 20 pulls or like at 297 so will I get two 5 stars or it will treat my 297 as 300 pulls and give me selector early ??
The 300 Selector has nothing to do with S Rank pity, so you get both the S-Rank in your pulls + Selector

Oof, highly recommend getting another DPS. I don't know which units you own, but here's some suggestions:
If you're looking for Miyabi, Lycaon or Lighter are both great supports for her
Harumasa could probably use Grace in a "mono-electric" set-up
You can also go for S11 if you like the "rhythm" gameplay, but Lighter is the best "support" for her right now.
In any case, I firmly believe that fun > meta, so if none of these units appeal to you, feel free to either wait or pick the one you'll have fun playing with ❤
